Imperfect in Bulgarian language and its equivalence in Czech language
Krasteva, Vesela ; Hrdlička, Milan (referee) ; Gladkova, Hana (advisor)
The subject of my work is imperfektum in Bulgarian language and its equivalence in Czech. The work is divided into three main parts. The first one describes a general characteristics of Bulgarian imperfektum. It is a tense with double temporal orientation representing an action realized in a specific moment in the past. The goal of the second part is to determine a way of finding a Czech equivalent of Bulgarian imperfektum. The theory behind this relies on analysis of relations between different pieces of translated text where the meaning or substance of the text after translation stays unchanged. The third part outlines examples of the imperfektum and its translated equivalents. The main goal of this work is to introduce the topic to the reader, and not to write it out.
The reflexiv personal and possessive pronouns in Czech and in Romanian
Florea, Ileana ; Holub, Jan (referee) ; Hrdlička, Milan (advisor)
In the diploma work, we have treated of the problems concerning retlexive and possessive pronouns "se" (oneself) and "svůj" (my, yOUf, and so on) above aH. In the introduction, we have orientated our attention first to deictic words, and successively we got the general description of pronouns in Czech language, where we came principally to possessive and retlexive pronouns. We have concluded that these pronouns are very difficult for foreign student s learning Czech language. We stopped at personal retlexive pronoun "se" (oneself) and "si" (to oneself), pronoun expressing that a person or a thing, this is indicating, is identical with the originator of an action. This originator of an action is usually expressed by the subject and the action by a definite verb but it is possible that it can be expressed by another way as object or infinitive for instance. (see l.2.) From the point of view of the delimitation of lexical language it is necessary to give attention to the ambiguity of the retlexive pronoun ,,se" (oneself). If this is fulfilling the function of an article of object in a sentence construction (myl se - he washed himselj), it is real retlexive pronoun, and consequently an independent lexical unit. If it is part of a retlexive verb (přiznat se - to confess himselj), ifthe case may be of a retlexive...

Selected problems of literary translation from Turkish to Czech

The locative singular m. and n. based on the corpus material (the distribution, interchangeableness and frequency of the endings u- and -e)
Pojmanová, Marina ; Hrdlička, Milan (referee) ; Adamovičová, Ana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis pays attention to the theme of The Locative Singular Mascular and Neuter Based on the Corpus Material (the distribution, interchangeableness and frequency of the endings -u nad -e). The work is focused on the polymofphism of the declination paradigmas hrad and město in the singular form, specially on the competition between the endings -u and -elě. The bachelor thesis compares the approach to that problem in classic and modem czech grammars: Nauka o českém jazyku, Stručná mluvnice česká, Mluvnice češtiny (2), Příruční mluvnice češtiny, Mluvnice současné češtiny. Apart from the main ending introduction grammars orientate on the factors, which may affect the future ending selection. A frequant faktor is the case correspondence between genitiv and lokativ, specially in the Alois Jedličkas language guide O češtině pro Čechy. Příruční mluvnice česká describes syntactic function as one more faktor. Mluvnice češtiny (2) shows on the regional disparity. It means that the usage of endings varies in different part ofthe country. Václav Cvrček in Současná mluvnice češtiny does not fogert about the factor of fixedness. One of the czech grammars minuse is a limited example amount. So that is why the work use s the corpus matireal, exactly the corpus SYN2005 and the Prague speaking corpus. The...
