Methods of Static Buckling Analysis
Svoboda, Filip ; Eliáš, Jan (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this theses is to create application, which is able to calculate buckling load of structure made from 1D bar elements, using finite element method. introduction is devoted to basic principles of buckling and derivation of necessary formulas. Then are described all operations and numerical methods needed for the application. At the and is in detail analyzed few structures and results are compared with known solutions or with other applications.
Technical Analysis
Vetýška, Jan ; Svoboda, Filip (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is the analysis and understanding of issues of technical analysis, namely Woodie CCI trading system. This trading system recognizes whether the market is at the moment oversold or overbought, which is also a draft program which calculates these values and giving us signals to trade. This trading system recognizes whether the market is oversold or overbought at the moment. It is also a draft program which calculates these values and giving us signals to trade. At the beginning it is necessary to give a theoretical viewpoint. There is also described the financial system and other important information. The next section describes the trading system, how it works and why I chose it. The following is the procedure for creating applications and basic knowledge of Visual Basic. Finally, I make a backtest where we will see how the system is in practice.
Company Investment Strategy
Svoboda, Filip ; Krátký, Petr (referee) ; Čižinská, Romana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issues of a company´s investment strategy. The aim is to propose an investment portfolio that will meet the company requirements regardless of its field of business, efficiently utilize various financial instruments and, at the same time, meet the requirement of liquid money.
Technologies of the electrical apparatuses protyping
Svoboda, Filip ; Kloc, Petr (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
The work focuses on the production of prototypes of electrical devices. The theoretical part contains a structured overview of the historical development of prototype production technologies and description of individual prototyping technologies. The main part of the work is the design of a prototype extinguishing chamber, printing of the chamber and verification of the ability to extinguish the electric arc.
Design of nameplates editor
Svoboda, Filip ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of type labels, used for marking of products in series production. The research part of the thesis deals with the issues of the used label media and label printing. The issue of content and design of labels is analyzed. The result of thesis is a graphic editor for designing labels and their translation into ZPL II. This language is mainly used by Zebra Technologies printers, which are very common used in industry.
ISP Network Management
Svoboda, Filip ; Pavláček, Martin (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is management of computer network managed by internet service provider in the village Boleradice. Based on the analysis of current management practices weakness in monitoring was revealed. In order to address this issue a server was purchased, on which was installed Nagios, an advanced monitoring tool. The benefit of this project is increased efficiency and improved management of the network and ability to quickly respond to outages of network devices.
Possibilities of nuclear energy in the field of energy and media production
Svoboda, Filip ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is the possibility of combining nuclear power plants with energy storage technologies (specifically hydrogen production) and the subsequent balance of electricity and hydrogen production when combining these hybrid systems with photovoltaic power plants. With large installed capacities of renewable energy sources, it is necessary that other sources in the energy portfolio are flexible and then it is possible to regulate the supply of electricity from these sources to the electricity grid (for example, reducing the output of a steam power plant for natural gas on sunny and windy days). The regulation of a nuclear power plant is limited and therefore it is advantageous to start using it, for example, in a hybrid system with a PEM electrolyser. Then the nuclear power plant can produce electricity at a constant rate and only regulate the amount of electricity that goes to the grid or to the electrolyser.
Multipurpose sports hall
Svoboda, Filip ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with structural design of a load bearing structure of a roofing of a sports hall. Span of the structure is 37,7m, length is 56m and height is 10m. Main construction material is steel, grade S235. Main load bearing structure is made of frames with axial distances of 6m. These frames are made of truss with triangular cross section. Frame has variable cross section at both ends. Frame is curved and has different radiuses in the middle and at the ends. Global stability is carried by two roof bracings, which are between two frames. Internal forces were calculated in software scia engineer.
Using the EtherCAT bus couplers in the development environment NI LabVIEW
Svoboda, Filip ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on EtherCAT fieldbus and its application by using NI LabVIEW. There are described the theoretical part of network elements designed for automation use in first part. Next part includes description of the EtherCAT and its advantages. There is described how NI LabVIEW accesses to this fieldbus in the next part. The real application developing process on the specific manipulator is treated then. It is controlled by the bus coupler. The results of the experiment are discussed in the last chapter.
Analysis of Final Scores in Czech Video Game Media
Svoboda, Filip ; Houška, Jan (advisor) ; Švelch, Jaroslav (referee)
In a video game review, it is common to include a numerical recommendation rating in addition to a textual evaluation of the product (game). How (on what scale and how to use such scale) and whether to evaluate numerically or otherwise is a subject of extensive debate in the video game journalism context. The thesis aims to answer the question of how video game reviewers perceive the problematic aspects of the final scores through the interviews with Czech game reviewers. It compares the findings with each other and provides context. It also maps how scoring systems have changed over time.
