Work-related satisfaction - causes and manifestation

Bachelor thesis summarizes knowledge from the psychology of work and organization field, in particular from the field of job satisfaction. The theoretical part covers different approaches to job satisfaction and its characteristics. In introduction apart from basic terminology important theoretical approaches to work satisfaction (e.g. single-factor and double-factor theories) are presented. Further the main focus is on factors related to job satisfaction such as age, seniority, gender, education and salary. Also the effect of job satisfaction on phenomena such as work motivation, work performance, fluctuation and absenteeism is mentioned. The final chapter of theoretical part of the work is focused on the methods of job satisfaction evaluation in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. The theoretical part of the work is followed by empirical part which designs a research project of job satisfaction in actual organization. Research project is divided into two parts. Psychological experience infertility and assisted reproduction in terms of infertile individuals

The aim of this dissertation was to find out how does a woman experience infertility and how do women experience the process of assisted reproduction, comunication with the personel in the centres of reproductive medicine, relationships with their surroundings, family and friends. This dissertation answers three main questions: How does a person experiences asisted reproduction? What kind of copying strategies they use to overcome the stress connected with assisted reproduction? How does an individual experience approach and communication skills of the personel of a centres of reproductive medicine. According to chosen topic of experiencing infertility I have chosen a qualitative research method in the form of case study. Basic strategy for sample selection was purposive (judgemental) sampling through centre of reproductive medicine. I have chosen grounded theory method for the data analysis. Standardized interview was made with every participant. Findings of this qualitative research brings the understanding to person experiencing infertility. Those findings will contribute to more empathy understanding to patiens and their partners during hard time in their life from health care profesionals working in centrs of reproductive medicine. Zhodnocení hospodaření a rozvoje vybrané municipality

This diploma theses deals with the financial management and development of the selected municipality. Specifically, this work was created for the town called Ždánice, located in the South Moravian Region. The aim of the thesis was to find out how the municipality financially managed in 2011-2015 and which development activities were already implemented according to the City Development Program for the period 2016-2024. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the literary research and the work results. In the literary research part the concepts related to the municipality, with the regional development and SWOT analysis are described. In the work results part aspects related to Ždánice city, demographic indicators, indicators of economy, SWOT analysis and fulfilment of development activities with own proposals of development activities are analyzed.

Job satisfaction from the perspective of the human personality determinants

Job satisfaction in terms of the determinants of human The thesis is focused on connection between job satisfaction and personality determinants (personality traits, personality features, demographic factors). The thesis is based on the assumption that job satisfaction is founded in personality and therefore results from dominating personality orientation, which is among other factors based on overall life attitude. Theoretical part of the theses defines the term job satisfaction and describes specific theories of job satisfaction and its factors. Further in this part connection between job satisfaction and work performance, work fluctuation and other phenomes related to job satisfaction are mentioned. Chapter also includes recent empirical findings and methodology of job satisfaction evaluation. In the empirical part the relation between personality and job satisfaction as well as relation between personality and well-being is examined. The results confirm personality as a significant predictor of job satisfaction, which is in line with recent research. Furthermore, the results show that personality (neuroticism) is also significant for overall life satisfaction of person.
