RESUMÉ The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the position of women in Roman law. The injured party in criminal procedure and his/her protection
Valíčková, Martina ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Vanduchová, Marie (referee)
The injured party in criminal procedure and his/her protection- summary Martina Valíčková In my diploma thesis I would like to point out certain facts of an injured person and his/her position in the criminal procedure. I would like to sum up individual opinions and thoughts of some experts, outline possible solutions for some issues so that the injured person would not be out of the attention in the criminal procedure, but to be its fully-fledged participant whose interests are truly considered in the criminal procedure. In the introduction of my thesis first I deal with general issues. I define the concept of an injured person and damage, I outline specific cases, when the injured person's participation in the criminal procedure is excluded or limited. Last but not least is a short excursus presenting some of its rights and I also outline certain imperfections of legal regulation. This more or less general exposition of an injured person is followed by the chapter which describes the situation of literary processing. The third chapter concerns adhesion proceedings. For the injured person in context with his/her participation in the criminal procedure, compensation for damage is crucial, but surely it is not possible to limit the sense of his/her participation in the criminal procedure only to this extent....
The relationship between general intelligence faktor g, broad cognitive abilities and working memory
Čeplová, Zuzana ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor) ; Uhlář, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with the relationship between Working Memory, Working Memory Span tasks and general factor g and Broad cognitive abilities. Measured constructs are introduced in the theoretical part, with their evolution, various methods of their measurement and studies investigating the relation between them. The empirical part of the research has been conducted to verify the relationship between Working Memory and general intelligence factor g. It has been done to reveal the relationship between Working Memory Span tasks and Broad cognitive abilities as well. The question concerning the influence of the use of strategy while performing the automatic version of Working Memory Span tasks has been investigated as well.

Last chapter contains the analysis of the verbal production of Control Machete: reflected influences are studied as well as the expressed social conditions of the production.
Electrophoretic determination of selected muscle relaxants using contactless conductivity detection
Lužová, Veronika ; Polášek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (referee)
A novel capillary electrophoretic method for the separation of pancuronium (PM) and vecuronium (VM) ions utilizing capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection (C4 D) was devised and validated. The separation was carried out in bare fused-silica capillaries (50 µm i.d., 75/45 cm) at 25 řC. Optimal background electrolyte was 50 mM borate buffer of pH 9.5 containing 12.5 mg/ml of hydoxypropyl-γ-cyclodextrine; (phenyltrimethylammonium iodide was used as internal standard). The samples were injected hydrodynamically at 1000 mbar for 3 s. The separation was performed at +30 kV. Under such conditions the PM and VM were base-line resolved and the separation took < 4 min. Calibration curves were linear for both PM bromide and VM bromide in the range 25-250 μg/ml with r > 0.9968. The limits of detection were 7 and 6 μg/ml for PM bromide and VM bromide, respectively. The accuracy tested by recovery experiment at three concentration levels of added PM bromide and VM bromide was satisfactory (95.7-102.7 %, n=3, with RSD < 2.61 %). The method was successfully applied to the assay of PM bromide and VM bromide in commercial injection solutions.
Workforce Optimisation
Pacinda, Štefan ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Klusáček, Dalibor (referee)
Title: Workforce Optimisation Author: Štefan Pacinda Department / Institute: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic (KTIML) Supervisor of the master thesis: doc. RNDr. Roman Barták Ph.D., KTIML Abstract: Workforce management deals with the problem of maintaining productive workforce for example in call centers, hospitals, transportation companies etc. It includes the problem of deciding which skills are necessarily at each given time and how many personnel with given skills is required. These decisions are followed by solving the problem of allocating particular employees to shifts while satisfying the skill demands but also other constraints derived for example from law regulations, trade unions agreements, and individual preferences. This thesis deals with workforce optimization, that is with the optimal assignment of personnel to shifts in order to cover the demand for resources that vary over time. In this paper the solved problem is described in all detail and modeled as mixed integer program. Implementation details are presented and exhaustive analysis and experiments on a real life problem instance are performed to assure that the aims of the work have been met. Keywords: Rostering, Workforce Management, Shift Scheduling
The prescription of the ownership rigt

This diploma thesis is devoted to the topic of acquiring the right of ownership by prescription (usucaption). The purpose of my thesis is to analyse one of the oldest institutes of the civil law and to clarify its significance in the Czech Law. The content of the thesis is divided into five chapters. A brief introduction is followed by the chapter one, where I have defined some basic concepts, which are related to usucaption and in the conclusion of this chapter I have also defined the term "usucaption" as such. The second chapter is a historical excursion describing the principal periods of the development of the usucaption institute from the Roman law through the Common Civil Code until nowadays. The main part of the thesis is chapter three, which is divided in four subchapters named after the particular presumptions of usucaption. In this headstone of the thesis I on the first place focus on the institute of lawful possession, within which I explain the issue of consideration of a good faith, an excusable mistake and admissibility of the lawful possession so-called "contra tabulas". The second subchapter explains, which subjects of the Civil law are qualified for usucaption and which are, or in the past were, diqualified from usucaption. This part is followed by a investigation of the capacity of movable...
