Delegation and its implementation in practice
Tunysová, Alena ; Kříž, Josef (advisor) ; Hana, Hana (referee)
This thesis deals with process of delegation and its implementation in practice. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an own work. Theoretical part applies on general concepts of management in the introductory part. Main theoretical part is focused on issues of delegation, its object, elements and goals. Next there are introduced advantages and disadvantages, barriers, which block managers process of delegation. The analysis of work is written in details, that means what is possible or cant be delegate, planning of delegation, which includes goals of planning, terms, decisions, extent of authority or inspection. There are not forgotten chapters focused on a choice of appropriate workmate and a process how to delegate correctly. The practical part is primarily based on a survey in which statements are followed from literature research. Answers of interviewed managers are presented and then illustrated with graphs, where are also added information from unstructured interviews. It is also used a method of structured interview with managers for more details. In conclusion, this own study evaluated the results of the survey and based on these measures is proposed, which should ensure more efficient use of managerial skills in the surveyed company.
Effect of hunting pressure on microhabitat preference of red deer in the Doupov Mts.
Křivan, Lukáš ; Ježek, Miloš (advisor) ; Stanislav, Stanislav (referee)
This master thesis is focused on GPS telemetry of red deer (Cercus elaphus) in the environment of the Doupov Mountains in the Military training Hradiště. In the first part of the thesis are solution of introduction to general issues preferences and the occurrence of red deer and other related ungulates. The second part of the thesis is focused on my own research. The Positional data monitored hind Dorothy was collected in the period 1. 7. 30. 3. 2014. The aim was to determine, if the time hunting have to influence to microhabitat preferences on the hind of red deer and if the selection of posts are accidental or is influenced by the characteristics of the post. The Research conducted of data inventory from GPS using collar and of data, which arised laser air scanning the surface (technology LiDAR). For comparison and finding the preferences of the hind was created the network accidental comparative points. Field exploration and LiDAR technology consider the dependence of the average height of vegetation around of Dorothy positions the period of the year and the time of day. Data was evaluated ANOVA for the non-parametric data distribution (Kruskal-Wallisova) and the program Microsoft Excel. At each station has been carefully identified information about the location including visibility of the hunting-game device and height of stand. The results indicate that the average height of the vegetation was at the stands searched by the hind of red deer during a sunrise and a day. The lowest was in night and at sunset. The hind of red deer prefer, in hunting time during the day, thick scrub and during the night more open spaces with larger views properties, where she actively looking for food. The most preferred visibility at the time of hunting and off time hunting was to the eastern direction. The most least preferred visibility was always to the western direction. Minimum presence of the hunting-game device is in the time of hunting during at the day and sunrise, maximum at night. This behavior was probably caused increased hunting activity. The results of the thesis may be used in forestry management, for forest protection and by planning of hunting management of the red deer populations.
Motivation as a leadership
Jirát, Tomáš ; Fiedler, Jiří (advisor) ; Horáková, Jana (referee)
This thesis deals with the concept of motivation as a leadership for its use in people management. The work is contains two main parts. The first part is called a literature review and describe all the information that is needed for an understanding of the topic. Literature research provides information on leadership, motivation, managers, and their functions and also about motivational theories. It also explains the concepts like stimulus, motive and motivation disorders. The second part is practical. It is trying to confirm the theoretical knowledge in practice. Describes selected companies and five experienced managers who work in these companies. Managers were asked to answer a dozen open questions on the subject of motivation as a way of leading people. Since it is managers at different positions and from different companies, their answers are compared with each other and commented. The summary is drawn from a comparison of theoretical knowledge with the experience of managers.
Impact of value added tax rate change on inflation rate
Procházka, Jan ; Žáková Kroupová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Lenka, Lenka (referee)
The value-added tax has significant fiscal and monetary effect. This tax has the largest portion of revenues from all taxes in the tax system to the state budget all European Union members. From this perspective, it is a key element for the national economy. The specific characteristic of the value-added tax affects the price of almost every goods and services in the European Single market. The initial implementation and tax rate change have effect on the inflation rate, which reflect and indicate about economic situation. The tax rate changes lead not only to different tax incomes, but also to different consumer prices. This thesis is researching strength of impact of tax rates changes on the inflation. All types of rates and their changes have different impact on the inflation and their effects are different in time. The most significant influence has a standard rate in the short term and first reduced rate in the long period. In general, the increasing of rates has stronger impact on the inflation than reducing. From these reasons is necessary thorough preparation and analysis before every tax rate change, because every tax rate change has influence on the economic stability, competitiveness of business and household consumption expenditure.
Possibilities of use of new bathymetry method of water reservoirs
Kundratová, Františka ; Roub, Radek (advisor) ; Hradilek, Václav (referee)
It is essential to measure water depths of rivers, water reservoirs, ponds and lakes from various reasons like hydrologic modeling, monitoring of biotopes, monitoring of sediments or archeologic researches. Hence, the bathymetry techniques for measurements of shallow waters are still evolving. The goal is to find the best method allowing fast and economic mapping of large-scale areas and providing high-resolution data. Currently, the most common method in Czech Republic is probably depth measurement by an ADCP devices, which is a very accurate method, but still time-consuming. On the other hand, airborne laser scanning with wavelength of 532 nm (green laser pulse) has a great potential for shallow water mapping. This work is focused on the possibilities of use of the airborne laser scanning for bathymetry of rivers and water reservoirs in conditions typical for Czech Republic. The methods of obtaining the bathymetric data are discussed in theoretical part, as well as principles of its operation. In the practical part, two study areas (a part of Vltava river and a Hracholusky dam) were scanned using the laser scanner Riegl VQ-880- G. Digital terrain model (DEM) was created from acquired data of the two study areas. After that the DEMs were compared with DEMs which were created from sonar data. The results of comparison are presented. The aim of this work is to assess the ability of airborne laser bathymetry in conditions typical for Czech Republic and verify the accuracy of this method. This method saves time and economic costs and it has great potential to be usable for future research.
Effect of potassium on stable cesium uptake by Calla palustris from aqueous solution
Petrůvová, Nicola ; Komínková, Dana (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the effect of potassium on receiving of stable cesium and evaluate the appropriateness of Marsh Calla (Calla palustris) for phytoremediation. The experiment was conducted in a green-house environment where the plants were grown in an aqueous solution. The plants were exposed then to a stable isotope of cesium (133Cs) at a concentration of 1 mM CsCl. Potassium was added to the plants in the form of potassium sulphate (K2SO4), in five different concentrations (0.5 mM, 1 mM, 2 mM, 5 mM and 10 mM). Plants were exposed for 8 days. The largest average income of cesium (9,37 %) had a plant without added potassium. The root part of the plants showed a greater cesium content than the ground part. Based on the total intake of cesium from an aqueous solution, calla marsh can be estimated as a plant usable for phytoremediation.
Phytogeographical analysis of distribution of selected xero-thermophilous herbaceous taxa along the Sázava River valley in Central Bohemia
Vlasák, Tomáš ; Černý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Boublík, Karel (referee)
This study is focused on a phytogeographic analysis of the distribution of selected xero thermophilous herb taxa along the Sázava Canyon in Central Bohemia. The research was done in 62 localities scattered along the major river stretch from Ledeč nad Sázavou to the confluence of Sázava with the Vltava Riever. The Sázava River was divided according to the river mileage into 8 even sections where there were 6 or 7 larger representative localities further selected. In each locality there was obtained the semi quantitative floristic inventory of species according to a pre prepared check in list with 57 taxa, further a detailed exploration of the locality was performed including the measurement of the area (in ha), direct perpendicular distance to the Sázava riverbed (in km), distance of the locality related to the river mileage, proportion of slopes of southern expositions, by means of conservative method using paper maps, calculation of the coefficient of variation of local altitudes (i.e. the assessment of vertical complexity), reading of geographical coordinates by tourist GPS receiver and finally a detailed determination of bedrock types at individual localities. The results were processed and then statistically evaluated in the program CANOCO software for multivariate analyses. The CANOCO program calculated that the influence of species composition in the given areas describes approximately 8.6 % of the total variability of individual species. This influence is proven to be statistically significant on the alpha level = 5%. The analysis, using observed data, calculated that 28.9 % of total variability of the vegetation composition in the studied floristic areas is influenced by the chosen variables. This work may serve as a comprehensive resource of the sites for future research, also it brings a valuable floristic data for the nature conservation purposes.
Correlation analysis among the distribution of forest vegetation zones, selected climatological parameters and actual vegetation status in Hostýn-Vsetín Mountains subregion of natural forest region 41
Pšenko, Martin ; Černý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Ulbrichová, Iva (referee)
Hostýnské mountains are part of the most frequently visited forests in Moravia. Whether because of the numerous cottage and recreational areas with abundant occurrence of fungi, these forests were subject to great anthropogenic influence since its origin. Therefore, it was created on the territory of several protected areas and nature reserves, which were designed to preserve the natural vegetation potential of local vegetation and protection of rare species of local phytomass and zoomass. The goal of this thesis is the verification of the respective forest vegetation zones of the investigated plots, which had been historically assigned in several respects. In the past, namely the allocation of forest vegetation zone was entirely an empirical matter, which scientists have not been able to verify the correctness of his judgment by means of statistical analysis, as is the case nowadays. The plots were therefore selected to characterize best the local conditions, whether in terms of species composition of vegetation or climatic conditions. On the 20 selected plots there were collected data within individual tree layers (based on Kraft-Zlatník scale), species composition and level of development of individual trees by circuits measured at breast height and height measurements according to average individuals. As additional data for the overall evaluation were used climatological maps using GIS software creating a mosaics from which it can be acknowledged how much of the forest stands is affected by abiotic factors such as the length of the snow or the average air temperature. The data assembling the complete image of the plot characteristics were subsequently analysed by regression and multivariete statistical analysis. The obtained results show the context between the actual stage of the forest stands and the used climatic parameters. I believe that this work could be a model for those who do not rely on empiricallly-derived forestry maps and admit that the overall climate in our country is changing and evolving. It is therefore important to consider these causes not only for the purposes of forest management, but also for the protection of existing vegetation.
