Analysis of reproductive indicators in dairy cow breeding
KOCOUR, Daniel
The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the trends in the development of reproductive indicators in specific dairy farming and to define the possible causes of the identified problems and propose measures to eliminate or resolve them. The literature review deals with the physiology of cow fertility, synchronization of estrus, hormonal or nervous control of the sexual cycle, the effect of internal and external influences on the reproduction of dairy cows, the effect of reproduction on milk yield and the economic connections associated with the reproduction of dairy cows. The analysis was carried out in the herd of Czech spotted cattle ZD Lukavec in the district of Pelhřimov. A total of 120 dairy cows that ended lactation between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 were included in the monitoring. There were 40 dairy cows in the 1st lactation, 40 dairy cows in the 2nd lactation, and 40 dairy cows in the 3rd and 3rd lactations. higher lactation. In order to evaluate the effects on reproductive indicators (interval, insemination index, length of service period and intermediate period), the data set was sorted by age at first calving, parity, calving and insemination season, milk yield at laktation peak, length of the previous calving interval, RBV of sire and inseminated bulls, occurrence of mastitis and other diseases. The best reproductive results were found in dairy cows that calved for the first time between 715 and 790 days of ageThe length of the service period was the shortest among primiparous heifers. However, the order of lactation had no significant effect on the insemination index. Cows calved in the summer months (June 21, 2021 to September 23, 2021) clearly had the worst reproduction indicators. The time of year when the 1st insemination was performed, however, did not significantly affect reproductive indicators. The length of the previous interval significantly influenced only the length of the insemination interval. Cows with the lowest daily milk yield at peak lactation had the shortest service period and intermediate period. But they also had the lowest average lactation rank. The influence of the RPH of the father on the fertility of the daughters was evident only for the length of the previous intermediate period, when the daughters of bulls with the highest RPH (?106) had the shortest intermediate period (386 days). However, reproductive indicators were significantly influenced by the RPH of the inseminated bull for its own fertility.
Dysplazie kyčelních kloubů u psů
HEŘMÁNKOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis deals with the genetic disease of hip dysplasia in dogs. It describes how the disease manifests itself, how to prevent it, and how to diagnose it. The practical part analyzes the influence of breed, age, and gender on the disease. 90 dogs of 42 breeds were included in the study, and the dogs were divided into groups according to FCI due to low representation of dogs in individual breeds. Crossbreeds were found to be the least susceptible to the disease, followed by setters (average finding of 0/1 and 1/0 for hip dysplasia). The age at which hip joint problems occur most frequently is during the puppy stage, around 3-5 months of age (16.2% of the dogs observed). The influence of gender on the disease was not proven. Of all obser-ved dogs, most individuals had the degree of hip dysplasia 0/0 (21.6%), followed by 2/0-0/2 (11.7%). From this data, it can be concluded that the observed sample had more dogs with lower degrees of hip dysplasia.
Vlivy působící na hmotnost jehňat při narození
PITROVÁ, Ludmila
The aim of the Diploma thesis was to monitor and evaluate selected influences on the weight of lambs at their birth. There were used basic breeding records of 604 lambs of both sexes in the breed of Wallachian sheep from the farm Ing. Jan Vejčík for the analysis. Birth weights were evaluated according to sex, litter frequency, litter order, paternal line and the year of birth. The results of the comparison brought the following findings. The influence of the father on the live weight of the lambs at birth was confirmed by the F test based on the significance level (p < 0.05 to 0.01) as statistically significant to almost highly significant. Comparing the average weight of lambs at birth by father´s line, the birth weight of lambs of the VALVEJ line clearly prevails. Moderate differences were shown between the effects of the frequency and order of litter, the other in terms of importance was the influence of the year of birth of lambs. The effect of sex of live-born lambs was statistically insignificant.
Vlivy působící na kvalitativní a kvantitativní znaky spermatu kanců
KUČERA, Josef
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the effects of boar´s genotype (breed or breed combination), season, age and artificial insemination centre on sperm volume, sperm concentration, motility percentage, percentage of abnormal spermatozoa and total number of spermatozoa per ejaculate. The data were collected in 2017 and 2018 from 17 794 collections from 504 boars, 6 to 101 month of age, 6 breeds and 5 breed combinations. The boars were bred in 8 artificial insemination centres in the Czech Republic. Each boar´s genotype produced average sperm volume, sperm volume grew up from spring to autumn and to 4 years of age. Sperm concentration was lower. There were a difference 27 ×103/mm3 (P<0.01) between spring and winter. Boars between 2 to3 years of age had higher sperm concentration (14 ×103/mm3 resp. 15.2 ×103/mm3) than boars less 1 year, resp. 2 to 3 years of age (P<0.01). Sperm motility was at good quality in all genotypes and artificial insemination centres, in all seasons and every age group. Total number of spermatozoa per ejaculate was lower for most genotypes, grew to 4 years of age, there were statistically significant differences between spring and autumn 9 bill.
Analýza vybraných vlivů na reprodukci dojnic ve vybraném stádě českého strakatého skotu
CIMBŮRKOVÁ, Pavla
The bachelor's thesis on the topic "analysis of selected effects on the reproduction of dairy cows in a selected herd of Czech spotted cattle" was prepared in the company JASANKA, s.r.o. In the literature review, the author first describes the importance of cattle in general, then focuses on Czech spotted cattle. In the next part, which focuses on the reproduction of cattle, the author describes the female reproductive system, the reproductive period from fertilization to childbirth, selected fertility indicators and also the effects that affect the indicators. In the chapters of own work, she analyzes the monitored data, which she collected for a period of two years. She focuses on the effect of performance on reproductive indicators from data from ninety randomly selected dairy cows. Furthermore, she focuses on the influence of the father on fertility indicators. Here she selected three proven bulls used by the company and evaluated data from another ninety dairy cows. As the monitored dairy cows migrated during the analysis, it also included the effect of housing on fertility.
The Influence of Western Thinkers on Sun Yat-Sen, His Political Philosophy and Practice
Mališ, Jan ; Halamka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Franěk, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this paper is to highlight the influences of major Western thinkers on Sun Yat-sen, which authors have had how much of an influence, and how different influences from different authors interact. The thesis begins immediately after the introduction, with a brief summary of Sun Yat-sen's life, emphasizing the possible influences from any angle. The work then moves on to the main part, which are the influences themselves, divided into two parts. The first are the broader influences, that is, the influences of authors, stimuli, or environments that did not have as much of an influence as the four main authors, but are still worthy of a subsection in the thesis alone. These chapters analyze Mill, Rousseau, Lincoln, and then the influence of Japan and British-influenced territories. The second part then deals with the main authors, which are Montesquieu,George, Kropotkin and Marx. The thesis then concludes with a summary of the main findings, a short recapitulation of the thesis and overall concluding thoughts on the thesis.
