Proposals for Non-Financial Motivation of Retail Managers

This bachelor thesis focuses on evaluating and proposing non-financial motivation for the branch managers of a hypermarket in a retail company with the aim of increasing employee satisfaction and achieving the primary goals of the hypermarket branch. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the concept of motivation, its importance in the work environment, and various ways to achieve it. The practical part involves the use of questionnaire surveys and personal interviews with branch managers to assess current motivational strategies and identify potential areas for improvement. The results of the thesis will serve as a basis for proposing effective non-financial motivational strategies aimed at promoting employee engagement and performance.

The master’s thesis deals with the system of motivation, remuneration and evaluation of employees in the communication center of the company Generali Česká pojišťovna, a. s. Part of this thesis is to focus on the current situation of the motivation system and employee benefits, and this state is further analysed using a questionnaire survey and interview. In the last part of the thesis, based on the results, solutions that would improve the current situation of the motivation system are proposed.
