Legal position of a child and registered partners within the framework of foster care Abstract The aim of this diploma theses is to analyse the legal position of a child and registered partners within the framework of foster care and to reply to the question whether the current legal regulation of foster care ought to be altered in favour of registered partners. The first chapter of the theses provides with the explanation of terms family and parenthood and closely deals with legal duties and rights of parents and children. It defines the constitutionally guaranteed right to family life of a child and registered partners and development of judicature concerning this issue. And this chapter also defines the crucial term of the best interests of the child. The second chapter focuses on the legal institute of registered partnership. It deals with the legal regulation and its development, the development of the legal regulation in the European countries, especially in Germany. This chapter also analyses the issue of discrimination and unequal legal position of registered partners compared to spouses. Subsequently both institutes, registered partnership and matrimony, was compared. The third chapter is fundamental. Opinion of Students from the Field of Social Work at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice about the Marriage of Same-sex Couples.

This bachelor thesis deals with a topic that is widely discussed in the population, namely the opinions of social work students on the issue of marriage of same-sex couples. The objectives of the bachelor thesis include determining the level of support among social work students and understanding their opinions on this issue. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the topic of the thesis, providing an overview of the issue and the various stages of the coming-out process. Additionally, it includes a description of the history of LGBT+ individuals and registered partnerships. The second part focuses on practical research into the opinions of social work students on the issue of same-sex marriage. A combined research approach was chosen for this part, utilizing both pilot study and quantitative research methods. The research sample for both studies consisted of social work students. In the pilot study, coding was used based on conducted interviews to answer predefined research questions and achieve the objectives of the thesis. In the second part of the quantitative research, results were analyzed, leading to the inconclusiveness of both hypotheses. The data revealed that individuals in the research sample hold positive views on same-sex marriage and actively support this union.
Comparison of gay marriage in the Czech republic with German speaking countires

This bachelor´s thesis deals with possible types of relationships between homosexual couples in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, the Swiss Confederation and Principality of Liechtenstein, and their comparison. It offers an introduction to the issue of same-sex relationships and concentrates on comparing of the situation in the mentioned countries. It works with valid legal regulations of particular countries, which adjust the relationships of homosexual couples. This thesis also tracks the development of legislation in the process of equalization of homosexual and heterosexual couples in the field of family law to April 2021. The main criterion for comparison of the situation in the mentioned countries is the possibility for same-sex couples to enter a marriage or an analogous kind of relationship with similar rights and obligations, which bears a resemblance to legal relationships between married couples. Except corresponding laws, this bachelor´s thesis concentrates on social context and political development, which reflects the social course of events.
"We're here, we're queer, get used to it!" Representation of Particular Isssues of LGBT+ Community in TV Series after 2000

The diploma thesis focuses on selected specific issues that LGBTQ people (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals, and other queer people) face due to their different non- heteronormative sexual and gender identities. Attention is paid specifically to issues of discrimination, stereotyping, partnership (marriage vs. registered partnership), parenthood, attributed promiscuity, and HIV / AIDS. The author focuses on fiction series broadcast between 2000 and 2021, which deals with queer topis and includes LGBTQ characters in the main or supporting roles, focusing on ways of depicting these characters and reflecting on selected issues they experience due to their identity. In foreign series such as Glee, Modern Family, Orange Is the New Black, Pose, Tales of the City, Sex Education, The Politician, It's a Sin and in the Czech series Ulice and MOST! the ways in which the series presents LGBTQ characters are analysed, in what discourse they are talked about and what effect these depictions may have on the majority heterosexual cisgender viewer. The thesis also provides an overview of the most common narrative archetypes of LGBTQ characters appearing in media production. These are also supplemented by examples of characters from the series of the last 20 years. Through a critical analysis of selected series and their reception, the author tries to point out the importance of portraying people with different sexual and gender identities and the influence of this television representation on the formation of opinions and attitudes towards LGBTQ people.
Openness to same­sex marriage from the perspective of religious and non­religious high school students.

The diploma thesis deals with the attitudes of religious and non-religious high school students towards the possible marriage of same-sex couples. The theoretical part focuses on the process of emancipation of homosexuals up to the present, when the discussion of this issue is a current topic both in society and in the political sphere. The respondents' openness to homosexual marriage is viewed, among other things, through the lens of their religious beliefs. The research group consists of six male and female students of Prague grammar schools, of which three respondents are Christian and three are non-religious. In the form of a semi-structured interview, the study finds out to what extent the respondents are open to the legalization of gay marriage, whether they agree with using the term marriage also for same- sex couples, and what role their religious beliefs play in their opinion on the issue. The results of the study show that five out of six interviewed respondents see the lack of registered partnership as unequal rights compared to the institution of marriage. Same-sex marriages as a political topic in the Czech public space

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Stejnopohlavní sňatky jako politické téma v českém veřejném prostoru" se věnuje mediálnímu obrazu institutu stejnopohlavního manželství z politického hlediska. V kontextuální části je přiblížena definice manželství pro stejnopohlavní páry, současná situace v Evropě a v České republice. Dále práce popisuje kontrast mezi manželstvím a registrovaným partnerstvím. V teoretické části se práce zabývá teoretickými koncepty agenda settingu, za pomoci kterých je ilustrována medializace tématu. V analytické části je provedena metoda obsahové a mediální analýzy prostoru, který je definován v metodologii. Časově je práce ohraničena od vzniku inciativy Jsme fér, která podporuje redefinici manželství, tedy 17. dubna 2017, do konce roku 2021. Dataset, ze kterého vychází analytická část, obsahuje finálních 294 výroků a 5 konkrétních proměnných. Cílem této práce je analýza výroků veřejně činných osobností v mediálním prostoru, v práci jsou také zodpovězeny výzkumné podotázky, které se ptaly kdo se vyjadřoval ke stejnopohlavním manželstvím, jak se o nich vyjadřoval a kdy se o nich vyjadřoval. Práce také detailně popisuje dva návrhy sněmovních tisků, Zákon o ústavní definici manželství jako svazku muže a ženy a Zákon o stejnopohlavním manželství. Relationships to family of gays and lesbians

This work issue from individual polostandardized interviews of gays and lesbians which were obtain to this work by method of Snowball Sampling and searching on the web-nets. Their family histories (stories) and biography were noted on dictaphone and written down to the letter. Mains objectives of this work are two and has theme about family. Objectives are: "Maping of relationships of lesbians and gays in family neighbourhood (primary family)" and "Relationship of lesbians and gay to their secondary family". Author gets in this way individual own view of gays and lesbians on these problems. To this work is added one interview of bisexual too who lived a long time lesbian's life style and currently she is a few years married.
