Inclusions in steel castings
Kaněra, Miloš ; Šenberger, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pernica, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis presents basic knowledge and dividing about inclusions which, by their presence, influence quality and used property of steel casts. With focusing on basic group of exogenous and endogenous inclusions, the abstract of shapes was made as well as composition, condition for emergence and the reaction of melt which is in touch with surrounding impacts. The presence of characteristic inclusions influence technological dimension containing formability or fatigue behaviour falling into mechanical dimension. Constantly growing demands increase the importance of prevention, eventually reduction of impurity fraction with the help of steel refinement or inclusion modification. Success of suggested arrangements for quality improving is analysed by the following methods of identification.
Covalent geometry of nucleic acids
Schramlová, Barbora ; Černý, Jiří (advisor) ; Dohnálek, Jan (referee)
IV Abstract Nucleic acids (NA) are substances that play a fundamental role in all living organisms. They store genetic information and control the process of protein synthesis. These macromolecules are composed of chains of nucleotides. According to the type of sugar in the nucleotides, nucleic acids are divided into DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (Ribonucleic acid). Nucleotide sequences also determine the spatial conformations of nucleic acids. At the level of dinucleotides, conformations are described by classes of dinucleotide conformers - NtC. To study nucleic acids, it is crucial to determine their spatial arrangement. The most common method of three-dimensional observations is X-ray crystallography, which uses the interaction of X-rays with the electron cloud of atoms in the crystal. The result is crystallographic data, which further goes through the process of refinement and validation. One of the essential requirements for reliable refinement and validation are stereochemical standards. These are vocabularies that characterize specific bond lengths, bond angles, torsion angles, planes, and chirality. These parameters were last updated in 2020, but their quality still needs to be improved. This work focuses on the detailed characterization and description of the covalent geometry of nucleic...
Utilization of Project Management Tools and Methods in a Digital Agency
Strukturní studie halogenalkandehalogenasy DgaA z \kur{Glaciecola agarilytica} NO2
BERKOVÁ, Ivana
Haloalkane dehalogenases (HLDs) are microbial enzymes that have attracted significant interest because of their ability to catalyze the irreversible hydrolysis of a wide range of halogenated compounds. These enzymes can be used as potential applicants in industrial catalysis, in the bioremediation and the biosensing of environmental pollutants. Novel haloalkane dehalogenase DgaA (EC 3.8.1.5, HLDs) belonging to the superfamily of / hydrolases, was isolated from a psychrophilic and moderately halophilic organism, Glaciecola agarilytica NO2, that was found in marine sediment collected from the East Sea, Korea. Main target of this thesis was the processing of diffraction data from crystals of DgaA proteins and subsequent solving and refinement of structure of studied protein.

A Multistructure Created By Coverings Of A Set
Staňek, David
This paper focuses on a certain construction of a multistructure on the set of all coverings on the universal set U and discusses properties of this multistructure. The construction itself uses a concept dual to the Ends Lemma, called Beginnings Lemma, which is proved in the paper.
The Art of Idea. Theory of Conceptual Art.
RADOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis deals with conceptualism in visual arts. It introduces basic ideas of conceptual art and applies it to selected classical aesthetic concepts (Šklovskij's method of refinement). The thesis also presents three authors of conceptual art, whose work shows the use of theory in practice. It then moves to an art movement that does not agree with the concepts of conceptual art (conflict between the Stuck movement and conceptual art, painting x concept). Finally it explains the relationship and the proximity between conceptualism and philosophy.
Combination of a Belief Functions on Two-element and on General n-element Frame of Discernment
Daniel, Milan
A relation of combination of belief functions on 2-element frame of discernment and on general n-elements ones has been investigated and described. Conjunctive and Disjunctive rule, the consensus operator and minC combination has been included to the analysis.
