Modular Application for the Management of Cyber Polygons
Janek, Samuel ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this work is the design and development of version 2.0 of the Brno University of Technology Cyber Arena (BUTCA) platform. The BUTCA platform is used for cybersecurity training. The reason for the creation of this work are new requirements that require extensive changes in the core of the platform itself. For this reason, a part of this work is dedicated to the reimplementation and subsequent expansion of the existing system. In order to meet some of the new requirements, the platform is extended with an authentication server (AS), which is implemented as a separate application. Both the AS and the platform use a client-server architecture, with the server part being implemented as a web API and the client part as a Single-Page Application (SPA). The implementation of this work will expand the use of the platform among institutions, which, in the case of version 1.0, would have problem with processing of their sensitive data by external institution.
Evaluation of Biometric System - Eye Iris Technology
Mlčoch, Luboš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis briefly describes basic biometric terms, a brief history of biometrics, biometric system and its performance and characteristics. Basic principles of iris recognition technology are also discussed. Finally, this thesis describes tests performed on various iris recognition systems and sums up the results.
Performance limits, reliability and security of open source PBX
Bednár, Jakub ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to install and to configure three Open source PBXes Asterisk, Freeswitch and YATE. Furthermore, the aim is to realize the performance test and stability tests on three different HW configurations with the tester Spirent Abacus 5000. The scripts in bash were created to monitor PBX performance. Another part of the study is to analyze and to compare PBX security and to compare the Open Source PBX with a proprietary PBX Alcatel-Lucent OXE.
Automated of Web Application Testing
Köszegy, Lukáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The Master thesis focuses on basic description of the theoretical and practical part of testing, agile development and online shopping. Aim of the paper is to specify requirements for testing scenario of online shopping and subsequently suggest suitable solution for easy integration testing process as a part of the development of online shopping within agile development.
Integration of JMS Providers to Third Parties
Žiaková, Nikoleta ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dudka, Vendula (advisor)
This thesis deals with messaging and integration of third-party JMS providers into JBoss application server. The aim of the thesis was to design and implement a general-purpose testsuite to verify the proposed integration. First requirement was to get familiar with key technologies for integration including Java Message Service, Java EE Connector Architecture, selected JMS providers and JBoss AS. Specific procedures of integration were designed and described for JMS providers Apache ActiveMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ and Red Hat MRG Messaging. The testsuite implemented to verify the functionlity of the integration focuses on four areas - transactions, clustering, high availibility and performance. The process of testing was automated using continuous integration tool Jenkins. Finally the test application was used to evaluate functionality of the integration and compare different JMS providers and various versions of JBoss AS.
Use of special binders for recycling of asphalt mixtures at mixing plants
Pěch, Pavel ; Špaček, Petr (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the matter of usage of special asphalt binders for production of asphalt mixtures containing recycled materials in asphalt plant. For comparison analysis of characteristics of special binder used in roads is necessary to compose different mixtures of asphalt – one with binder containing R-materials, and another benchmark mixture with binder used in common mixtures without recycled materials. Investigation of features of mixtures with different binders is carried out by selected performance tests of asphalt mixtures. Evaluation and comparison of the results is described in the final section of the thesis.
Swedish and US AR mixture design comparison
Puda, Adam ; Frýbort, David (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
This master's theseis deals with comparison of two design concepts for producting asphalt mixture with CRmB. These design concepts are from Sweden and USA. The theoretical part sets parameters for design of asphalt mixture and chracteristic tests. In the practical part test speciements of design asphatl mixture undergo performace tests that simulate climate and traffic load. Results are compared to mathematical model used in program LayEps.
Biometric System Performance Testing - Vein Technology
Pandoščák, Michal ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis aims at performance testing of a biometric device based on a vein recognition technology. Basic principles of this technology are briefly described. PalmSecure device was tested to illustrate the principle of the vein pattern scanning. Preformance tests and tests to fool the device were carried out. Finally, based on all acquired information a prototype of a palm vein pattern scanner was designed.
Evaluation of selected parameters in American football players as possible causes of their injuries
Chramosta, Roman ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Jantoš, Stanislav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of selected parameters in American football players as possible causes of their injuries Objectives: The aim of this thesis is, after studying selected theoretical backgrounds, to point out at the performance players of American football deliberately selected team to the possible causes of injuries (with special focus on the area knee joint) by evaluating body parameters, then selected three tests and at the same time by evaluating the screening of two positions in progress vertical jump. Methods: To write down the diploma thesis, we mainly used knowledge and conclusions from a literature search of foreign articles and studies dealing with the issue of injuries, injury prevention, sports performance, and normative data. In the next step, testing of selected three tests and subsequent normative evaluation was performed. Screening was also important for the evaluation of two positions during the vertical jump. Results: Through hand-picked performance tests, it was found that the selected players from the team achieved a sufficient level of movement based on the results according to standardized tables that we used. In comparison with professional players and the norm set out by Palmieri (2019), the players that we tested lag behind. As for the injuries in the selected group, the...
