Reflections and mirroring as art mediums at Primary school.

The presented thesis deals with reflections and mirroring as specific visual-image mediums. It follows their application in the teaching of art education at the first stage of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into two main chapters. The first one deals with the use of these mediums across the history of art from the earliest times to contemporary artistic tendencies, while the second one focuses on the possibilities of their application in school practice. The project part will present a set of art lessons called Mirroring designed for the first grade of primary school. These lessons offer a wide range of possibilities for the use of these elements in teaching, both in terms of the application of non-traditional materials and original themes. This opens up the possibility of using reflection and mirroring in a new way, especially in the context of experimental creation.

Laser projector for advertisement

The scope of this work is to design equipment capable of using a single laser source project programmed image or text. Introduction is a summary outlining the basic principles of image projection in laser imaging. This thesis describes the design of a laser projector that is using microcontroller AT MEGA16 together with auxiliary electronics and rotating ring, able to draw the desktop system bitmap graphics.

Extraction of Decrypted Data from SSL Connection

Cílem této práce je vyvinout aplikaci schopnou dešifrovat zabezpečená spojení a přeposlat dešifrovaná data na jinou stanici v síti pro další analýzu. Daná aplikace vybízí k nelegálním účelům, avšak zamýšleným použitím výsledného produktu jsou legální odposlechy. Pro tuto práci byla z množiny nástrojů vybrána aplikace SSLsplit díky jejím vlastnostem a výkonnosti. Toto rozhodnutí bylo na základě srovnávacích testů a porovnání vlastností. Pomocí vlastního certifikátu SSLsplit podepisuje certifikáty cílových serverů, které jsou vytvářené za běhu. Spuštěná aplikace běží v režimu transparentní proxy přímo na centrálním prvku dané sítě (routeru). SSLsplit provádí man-in-the-middle útok mezi klientem a serverem bez toho, aby to některá ze stran zaznamenala. Dále umožnuje dešifrovaný obsah odeslat na předem daný uzel v síti pro jeho další zpracování. Pro možnost snažší konfigurace SSLsplitu byla implementována integrace do netc rozhraní. Aplikace byla otestována za účelem zjištění jejich výkonnostních limitů. Výkonnostní testy výsledného řešení ukazují značný pokles počtu transakcí za sekundu (TPS) při použití SSLsplit v porovnání s pouhým přeposíláním provozu. Funkce zrcadlení významně neovlivňuje počet TPS ani neomezuje samotný SSLsplit. Výsledky ukazují, že SSLsplit je schopen reálného provozu s určitým omezením.

Seeing Through and Back

The aim of my work is to comment on the issue of narcissism, which is marked as an epidemic of our time. Narcissism is mostly psychological phenomenon and its generalization to society is difficult. In my preparatory studies on this topic within sociology, I could not find any solution, that would offer a change of position. In my attempt to achieve this, I went back to the original myth.

The Evolution of Space Telescopes

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na popis historie dalekohledu, počínaje refrakčními a reflexními verzemi optického dalekohledu a pokračuje stručným nástinem historie radioteleskopu a vesmírných dalekohledů obecně. Poté jsou specifikovány základní vlastnosti kosmických dalekohledů a jejich pozitivní a negativní vlastnosti jsou porovnány. Na závěr jsou popsány tři nejdůležitější vesmírné dalekohledy a jejich přínosy pro vědu jsou objasněny.

Variants of the active triangulation technique

This thesis is about method called active triangulation, specifically about measure systems which using mirror in it. In thesis is explain principle of active triangulation and principles of other optic measuring technic. Then there is described design of measuring system, its calibration and finally the measurement itself. The possibility of using a telecentric lens for measuring systems based on the principle of active triangulation is also tested. All programs are written using MATLAB.

Where are the Boundaries of Normality? The Search for Autistic Subjectivity

Despite of the growing body of multidisciplinary literature dealing with autism, encounters with a reality on the spectrum remains an under researched area. During my two years long fieldwork I discovered the controversial nature of being on the spectrum. To be on the spectrum is at the same time similar and different from the kind of situations in which any human being is entangled. This diploma thesis follows the process of formation of being on the spectrum situated in specific "playful" environment. It focuses on heterogeneous interactions among human and nonhuman agents. It follows multiple (a)symmetries that emerge in this process. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reality on the spectrum in an innovative and processually situated way and making it a leverage of exploring the nature of the social. The ethnographic research took place in four "playrooms" and mapped the material practices of the alternative therapy Son-Rise. Through mirroring, the main therapeutic practice, boundaries of similarity/otherness where the other is emerging as an autist subject are continuously negotiated, generated and blurred.
