Process of Recruitment and its Relation to the Perception of the Organization by Graduate Candidates

The diploma thesis deals with recruitment process in organizations and its perception by graduate candidates. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify factors in recruitment process that graduate candidates perceive as relevant for making judgments about the organization. Firstly, the thesis introduces a framework of knowledge in the area of recruitment process, its strategy and methods complemented by ethical standards and employer branding conception. Characteristics of the target group of candidates are also introduced with emphasis on Generation Y specification, as graduate candidates are part of this group. Significant part of the work is represented by current findings on the topic of candidates' perception of the recruitment process and factors that are positively or negatively influencing their perception of the organization. Empirical research with mixed research design is also a part of this thesis, and its aim is to investigate the recruitment process in relation to both candidates and HR professionals, to get a holistic view on the topic. Election of the president of Czech Republic ie terms of campaign financing

The aim of the work is to determine the cost-effectiveness for the presidency under its direct election in comparison to the number of votes received and assess the extent to which individual candidates complied with during the entire electoral process, financing conditions established by law. The theoretical part defines basic terms are mentioned laws which govern the legal framework for financing elections of the president and also stated, what are the conditions for the presidential election in some European countries. The practical part describes the process and results of the presidential election in 2013, thus the first direct presidential election in the Czech Republic and their financing. In the conclusion is a comparison of the financing of individual candidates, evaluate funding system and suggestions for improvement. The finding is that the amount of expenses incurred is not in direct proportion to the number of votes received and are also the shortcomings of compliance with the legislative framework of the election process.

Political aspects of local government – elections and voting behaviour of inhabitants of municipalities of Blovice city

Despite the transformation of party systems both at the national and sub-national political decision-making levels of politics, the hallmark of local political life of the municipality of Blovice city is a relative stability of the local party system. This fact is the basis of the Master thesis which aims to assess the nature of the electoral behavior of the local electorate in the elections to the municipal council with the ambition to evaluate the utility of the theory that is based on locally contextual interpretation. Partial objectives of the thesis that contribute to the main goal are the following: a description of the results of elections that are decisive for a development of the party system of Blovice city, a description of variables that underlie the permanent electoral support for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and the characteristics of electoral behavior of the local electorate. Thesis will be designed as a case study. A research will be based on voting decisions of electorate of Blovice city. The objects of the research will be the voters who participate in the elections to the municipal council and representatives of local politics and territorial autonomy. Value attitudes and voting behavior of voters will be assessed on the basis of data obtained by questionnaire. Electoral support of parties will be evaluated on the basis of data from unstructured interviews with local politicians (especially those from the party ODS). A local political life and in particular the election results will be described thanks to data published by the Czech Statistical Office (available on www.volby.cz).

Political Aspect of Local Government

The thesis deals with the local elections in 2014. It focuses on the District Děčín. The aim is to assess the importance of preferential votes in the distribution of political seats in municipal councils. Meaning of preferential votes is assessed using the variation coeficient, which is calculated for all the municipalities in district Děčín. The operational objective is to evaluate the use of preferential votes in the electoral behavior, which also results from the values of the variation coefficient.
Primary Elections in USA in 2016

This bachelor thesis focuses on presidential primary election in USA in 2016. Aim of this thesis is to find out, how candidates of Democratic party and Republican party were doing in early primaries and analyze their progress. This thesis is dealing with history of nomination process and delegates election methods on party conventions, where a candidate for president is selected. Thesis also deals with comparison of candidates programs in individual parties. In last part candidate results of both parties in early primaries are evaluated. Furthermore, progress of primaries after Super Tuesday till 26th April is summarized.
Sources of recruitment of employees

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the metods of the recruitment of employees in three types of companies: a huge company with more than 250 people, a small company with less than 49 people and recruitment agency and to recommend improvement. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part has five chapters. It deals with the explanation of the terms from the branch of the recruitment of employees and clarifies which sources can be used. The practical part contains four chapters. It is based on a qualitative research of the interviews with employees who recruit new staffs. The situation is assessed according to these interviews and we offer how to use the sources and suggest optimal changes to make the recruitment process better.

Diplomová práce tak popisuje ukotvení genderu v rámci naší legislativy. Dále pak zkoumá podíl žen na kandidátních listinách do zastupitelských úřadů v hlavním městě Praze a následnému uplatnění žen v případě volebního úspěchu. V diplomové práci jsou analyzovány zkušenosti zastupitelek s případnou diskriminací při výkonu své funkce voleného zástupce. Práce si rovněž všímá podílu žen ve vysokých politických funkcí a přístupu parlamentních politických stran k otázce genderu.
