Android application for subjective evaluation of video-sequences

This semestral thesis is focused on a group of four actually used video codecs, namely H.264, HEVC, VP8, VP9. The main objective is to decide on the basis of an evaluation by volunteers which one is the best suitable for video compression. The first part of thesis contains theoretical aspect od the issue. This includes a discussion about the the tested codecs, Android operating system description, performance of the Android Studio software and last but not least, introduction to the assessment methods, used to evaluate video quality, to guarantee the objectivity of the results. The secont part of thesis deals with the implementation of the testing procedure and following evaluation of the data obtained by the assessment.
Use of value engineering elements for realization of building in the municipality

The aim of my thesis Use of value engineering elements for the realization of buildings in the municipality is to compare the evaluation methods of procurement in municipality and evaluation methods using elements of value engineering. A tender for reconstruction Šubertovo square was realized in the city Dobruška. In the thesis is shown way of evaluation of competing offers of the city Dobruška itself in sublimit simplified procedure and evaluation of competing offers by selecting more evaluation criteria and selecting the best offer with the highest degree of effectiveness.
Assessment of high school students in computer science education

The thesis concerns the assessment and evaluation of secondary school students in computer science subjects in the Information Technology 18-20-M/01 field of study in the Czech Republic. There is no methodology readily available for the teachers of informatics-oriented subjects to assess and evaluate students, and the teachers adapt the assessment to their own needs as well as the conditions of the particular school. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to introduce the issue of assessment and evaluation, based on the analysis of literature on the issue of school assessment and evaluation at secondary schools in IT-oriented subjects. The theoretical part of the thesis describes theoretical knowledge in the field of student assessment and evaluation. The possibilities and types of assessment and evaluation, together with methodological approaches to those, are presented, along with their use, advantages, and disadvantages. The findings are supported by professional literature, and further interpreted. The aim of the practical part is to observe how teachers evaluate students in IT-oriented subjects, what methods and approaches they apply in individual subjects, how they approach the evaluation of the learning outcomes and their students' work. Dynamic testing of cognitive abilities of children and adolescents

The thesis presents a dynamic approach to the assessment in school psychology and the current practice of its application with an emphasis on the context of the Czech environment. Characteristics of dynamic assessment, theoretical background and a comparison with traditional assessment are defined. The largest part is devoted to the use of dynamic assessment in practice. Various methods of dynamic assessment and their possible uses and applications are described. The text also discusses the role of teacher in the process of dynamic assessment, its meaning in the context of inclusive education and monitors the situation in the Czech environment. The research project focuses on comparing outputs of traditional and dynamic tests and their effect on teacher's work with a student. The dissertation deals with the issue of guest workers in the home with special regime. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with human resource management, as described in the literature. The essential question is to link a system of evaluation in the Organization, with the achievement of mission and objectives of the organization. The work focuses on the links between performance management and evaluation of staff. Further focuses on the evaluation criteria, the various forms and the methods of evaluation, and also on the assumptions and the skills of the evaluator, but also the assumptions of investigational agents, their ability to reflect on their work and the ability of self assessment. In the practical part of the thesis I introduce the organization, in which it is carried out of the investigation. Assessment in Biology Education in Tabor and surroundings

Bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring the assessment methods used in biology lessons in Tabor and surroundings. Data was obtained through a questionnaire survey at secondary schools and grammar school with the emphasis on students' personal opinions and experiences in relation to individual assessment approaches, including experience with formative assessment, which is currently the subject of interest and discussion. This bachelor thesis consists of review devoted characterization methods and types of assessment. The practical part introduces the research results. The results showed that the oral and written examination were the most frequently used assessment instrument in the biology lessons. These instruments were also stated to be the most beneficial method from respondents' point of view. More than half of the respondents at schools in the selected region had experience with the formative assessment. There were no significant differences in using of the formative assessment between selected schools.
