Web Based Simulator of Superscalar Processors
Majer, Michal ; Olšák, Ondřej (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
A clear and interactive visualization of the superscalar processor is a valuable tool for studying its operation, particularly due to its complexity. The main contribution of this work is the extension of the existing RISC-V instruction set simulator with a new web-based user interface and improvements of the simulation quality. Nearly all modules of the simulator have been enhanced. Among other things, errors in the implementation have been resolved, statistics collection has been improved, and the instruction set has been expanded. The integration with the C language compiler is of great benefit. The simulator has been expanded to include HTTP and CLI interfaces. The React library has been utilized for implementing the web application. The result of the work is a functional and tested application, ready for practical use and with a positive impact on education.
User-friendliness of the City Councils Voting System
Osinek, Pavel ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Zaklová, Kristýna (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the user-friendliness of the system for the visualization of the Brno City Council voting. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the initial state of the system, and based on the findings, to design and implement a redesign of the user interface, with an emphasis on user-friendliness, also in the smartphone display version. The implementation included adding extensions to the system. The theoretical part summarizes elementary information about the municipal councils and possible ways of presenting data from their meetings. The concepts of user-friendliness and data visualization are also explained. The created redesign was implemented using Cascading Style Sheets and the React, Chart.js and PrimeReact libraries. The practical part of the thesis also includes refactoring and optimization of the client side of the application. The system was tested by a representative group of users. The findings of this thesis include a survey of the target user group, the design and the implementation of a user-friendly interface of the system and its extension.
User Interface for the bee hive management system
Torbin, Evgeny ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Veigend, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a user interface for the bee hive management system and its implementation as a multiplatform application. The user will be able to view statistics about their hives, apiaries and manage them. This information is provided by the server and received from special sensors installed directly in the hives. To solve this problem, Ionic framework written in JavaScript language and web technologies HTML and CSS were used. Communication with the server is done using REST API. The final application provides an interactive and user-friendly interface for managing bee hives, and is available on different platforms. The main result of this work is to prove that it is currently possible to create a full-fledged application without knowledge of platform-specific technologies. This approach makes the development of similar projects cheaper, more efficient and much faster.
Uživatelské rozhraní nástroje Combine
Nenutil, Patrik ; Rozsíval, Michal (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to create a new user interface for the Combine tool, since the current one was merely a prototype to showcase the tool's operations. The newly developed user interface allows use of datasets and simplified criteria inserting. Furthermore, shortcomings were fixed based on the studied principles. Automated GUI tests were implemented to validate the implementation's accuracy. As a result of this project, the user interface of tool Combine was improved.
Web for Displaying Archive Materials
Malík, Oto ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the websites analysis of the archives in the Czech Republic and used technologies. The aim of the thesis is to design an intuitive user interface and to create a datacentric web application for displaying archival materials from eight main archives in the Czech Republic. The server part of the application is implemented by using the Java programming language with Spring Boot. The client part of the application is built by using Angular, and the part of the application that is designed for a detailed browsing of the digitized attachments is created by using the OpenSeadragon JavaScript library.
Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification
Weissová, Ľuboslava ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the information system used by an unnamed state institution for the collection of data from obliged subjects. Within the thesis, the basic theoretical concepts are described, followed by an analytical part, where the state of the institution and the information system is assessed through appropriate analyses. The last part of the thesis is based on the results of the analyses and deals with suggestions for changes that would improve the current state of the information system and increase its efficiency.
Graphical Interface for the NetLoiter
Ščupák, Marian ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Rozsíval, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a graphical user interface that simplifies working with the NetLoiter tool. The chosen form for implementing the user interface is a web application. The created user interface allows the user to fill out forms, which validate their input and convert it into configuration files. The generated configurations can be used to run the NetLoiter tool via the SSH protocol and subsequently monitor the output in a user-friendly manner in real-time. The interface also provides users with the ability to perform basic statistical analyses on the data generated by the NetLoiter tool. The result of the work is increased efficiency in managing the NetLoiter tool and easier interpretation of its outputs.
Administrativní rozhraní pro Q řazení
Kováčik, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the development of an administrative interface in the form of a web application that allows the creation and management of card decks for Q-methodology, while enabling efficient research management. Q-methodology is a research approach used in the social sciences to analyse the subjective perspectives of participants. The application allows the management of multiple versions of card decks and the implementation of repeated research cycles with the ability to send email notifications to participants, supporting a dynamic and iterative approach to research. The application allows the sharing of card decks and research, which greatly supports collaboration and knowledge sharing between users.
Use of Physiological Data to Analyze and Improve the User Experience
Štefeková, Nina ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the research of the physiological symptoms of stress, the design and execution of an experiment that can induce short-term stress. Subsequently, the goal was to create a dataset from the experimentally obtained data and use it to train a machine learning model. Stress detection by such a model can be used to analyze the user experience. The proposed experiment uses a combination of stimuli, consisting of a relaxation part, a Stroop test and a web game that deliberately uses an unfriendly user interface. During it, data was recorded using an Empatica E4 device and then processed by an implemented application into the final dataset. A machine learning model that can detect short-term stress was then trained and evaluated. The KNN algorithm model evaluated by cross-validation achieves an accuracy of 84\% when the subject of the is known prior to the model. For an unknown subject, it is on average 78\%. The thesis provides this model and the resulting dataset, for further use. These results show that short-term stress detection is more challenging without prior knowledge of the subject.
Webový nástroj pro prohlížení a správu geografických a obrazových dat
Filas, Miroslav ; Klíma, Ondřej (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor's thesis was to design and implement an interactive web application used for previewing and managing geographical and image data. The key part of the solution is displaying geographical elements in map and image views, as well as implementation of optimization techniques of predictive loading. As a result, an app was developed with the client side implemented in the Vue.js framework, and the server side implemented with the FastAPI library and the MongoDB database.
