Improving the landscape that changes over time. Re-establishment of the relation to the place, reconstruction of the former tourist chalet. Analysis of context and spatial relations in the landscape and individual specifics of their parts. The issue of attitude to the reconstruction of architecturally inconsistent, not very historically valuable buildings. Abandoned recreational object at the top of the hill. Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.
Design and Realisation of the Competency Approach for Children of Younger School Age in the Junák - Czech Scouting Organisation

The aim of this thesis is to create and implement a competency-based approach in the organization Junák - Czech Scouting for children of younger school age. Further, it analyses the possibilities and limits of such an approach. The theoretical part deals with the development of key competencies through scout education. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the educational programme in the children's organization Junák - Czech Scout at the beginning of the 21st century. Furthermore, the terms of competence and key competence are discussed. The practical part was carried out as action research in the 3rd Scout Unit Holubov. Using a questionnaire survey, the research first focuses on the reflection of Scout Paths, which represent the current scout tool for applying the competency-based approach. The next part of the research concentrates on creating a new competency-based model that verifies and reflects in practice. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of this new model are analyzed and suggestions for further implementations are proposed. The thesis deals with the creation of trails in nature. It describes their historical development and current foreign trends using modern landscape architecture. Simultaneously, thesis focuses on no-invasive and ecological accessibility of landscape and nature. Southern part of the natural landmark of Hraniční meandry Odry near the town of Bohumín became the model area for project. The model area was thoroughly analyzed and the results evaluated. Based on the knowledge, a trail was created with rest areas, sightseeing places and background for tourists.

Ancient Trails in the area of the Otava river

ABSTRACT: The diploma thesis focuses on one of the modern science called stibology which concentrates on the human past and human's relation to the landscape and its settlement and mainly passing trails through the landscape. The aim of this work is to study settlement and possible passing of the communications through the landscape in the area of the Otava River since the Celtic settlement, but mainly at the Early and the High Middle Ages. The work focuses on realisation of the stibologic knowledge in the area of the town Strakonice at the period of the Early Middle Ages. It also shows that the theme of the old trails is missed out of education and its possible usage in the subject called The Heritage Education in School Education Programmes. The work also includes analysis of the cartographic materials and their information about trails passing the landscape. Product development opportunities for hiking and biking in the Microregion of Šumava - West

The focus of the thesis is to assess the present disposition of hiking and biking paths, including the research of services supply for tourists in the explored area. Furthermore there is recommended the development opportunities of the product. The following methods are applied in the research: scientific literature research, field survey, specification of object and subject, proposals and measures and design of a new product. For obtaining these aspects is used quantitative research- questionnaire survey.
