Virtual commisioning of one purpose production cell
Vala, Martin ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the issue of virtual commissioning and PLC programming. In the first part of the thesis a research in the field of control systems and softwares for virtual commisioning is conducted. The second part of the thesis deals mostly with NX Mechatronics concept designer software, where the initial modification of the model and its configuration for virtual commissioning takes place. The actual preparation of the model is followed by the virtual connection of the TwinCAT 3 control system and previously mentioned NX MCD using a virtual OPC server. The control program code is then created using the TwinCAT 3 development environment to control the assembly operations. This is followed by the actual virtual commissioning of single purpose station for assembly of the steel strapping machine.
Virtual commissioning of the automatic tool change of the milling center
Paštrnák, Pavol ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and virtual commissioning of an automatic tool changer for a CNC milling center. The work focuses on CNC control systems, virtual commissioning possibilities, the integration of Beckhoff and Autodesk Inventor software, and the final virtual commissioning in Siemens NX. The result is a functional virtual model and program for an automatic tool changer for the milling center.
Manufacturing process optimization
Štěrba, Zdeněk ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the analysis of the production line in terms of overall efficiency. The aim is to define the areas that play a role in the overall efficiency and then devise appropriate solutions to improve them. Emphasis is placed on the analytical analysis method Basic MOST, according to which the normalized time of operators is determined. The next section focuses on analysis to identify weak points in the line that can be optimized to improve efficiency or achieve financial savings. The production line and its analysis is also treated as a discrete event system in Siemens Plant Simulation software, which is also used to design the new workstation. The last point of the work is the design of a digital twin concept in Siemens NX program, which is controlled by a simulated PLC.
Electronic chess
Kočka, Matúš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on function of capacitive sensors on a printed circuit board and a series of measurements from which it was possible to create a subsequent sensors for the chess board. It also deals with the CoreXY technique, according to which a design of a motion mechanism is made in the Siemens NX program, and its subsequent implementation. The device includes a microcontroller for which software is created to process data from sensors and control stepper motors.
Virtual commissioning of multi-axis manipulator
Slavík, Vojtěch ; Radil, Filip (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and virtual commissioning of multi-axes manipulator, that will be able to create figures using spherical segments according to a template. In the design, emphasis is placed on the visual appearance and simple operation of the manipulator. The thesis presents the design of the model, methods for inverse kinematics solving, communication of used software and the robot control.
Design and virtual simulation of single-purpose machine
Zlámalík, Jan ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis aim is to design a construction of single-purpose machine that will serve as a coffee machine operator. The theoretical part describes the concept of the machine design and its functions. Then the individual components are selected based on the specified requirements. The practical part describes the machine design and simulation in Siemens NX software with Mechatronics Concept Designer package. A software solution for the ESP32 microcontroller is then developed for the real machine. This software solution is ready to be controlled from a hierarchical higher-level system. The function of the machine is tested using a test application developed for this purpose.
Pallet conveyor retrofit
Thér, Tomáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis designes new hardware and software designated for retrofit of a pallet conveyor for the purpose of improvement of it's functionability and safety. The work consists of a theoretical describtion of new and already used electrical components, their utilization and creation of the technical documentation. The next part deals with the design of the control software and visualization of the HMI panel. A virtual model of the conveyor was created to test the functionability of the program before it was tested on the real conveyor. The last part consist of funcional safety's theory and its evaluation.
Autonomous liquid storage with cooling system
Boch, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Husák, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an autonomous liquid storage cell with a cooling system. The cell is part of a larger project called the Self-Acting Barman. The cell follows the basic principles of Industry 4.0 and is also an example of a batch process according to the ANSI / ISA-S88 standard. At the beginning, the theoretical part describes important ideas and principles related to this project. The next chapter then discusses the construction design of the cell and its physical implementation. Parts were modeled in the Siemens NX program and subsequently these parts were created using 3D printing technology. In the next chapter the individual instrumentation used in the cell is described. In the last two chapters, the electrical connection of the whole cell and the software of the cell are then discussed. The cell wiring diagram is created in the E-Plan program and the cell software was created in the Siemens TIA Portal program.
Creation of a Digital Twin and Its Control Based on the ANSI/ISA-S88 Standard
Holba, Jan ; Husák, Michal
This paper deals with development of detailed digitaltwin of small-volume liquid storage unit, as well as its completevirtual commissioning. The original design of the existing unit issubstantially modified to increase reliability and robustness. Thecontrol logic for PLC, according to ANSI/ISA-S88 standard, isalso created. Based on this implementation of the control logicfor the digital twin, its real counterpart will also be put intooperation.
