The acquisition of energy data
VOJČ, Zdeněk
The bachelor thesis deals with the acquisition and processing of energy, specifically with the measured values of electricity production from the solar power plants. The work focuses on the entire process, from production, continual measurement of energy meters, meteorological data processing, and analysis of the measured data replacement values for the data processing needs of market operator. The result is a system design and software application that cover entire process with a focus on replacing the missing measure data through the analysis of meteorological data.
Knihojed: changing the way how people buy and consume ebooks

I don't know how to quote, but I don't care...
Krčál, Martin
Příspěvek popíše, k čemu slouží citační software a jak tvořit správné citace bez toho, niž byste znali normu ČSN ISO 690. Primárně se bude věnovat automatické tvorbě citací bez nutnosti vyplňování údajů. Budou představeny vybrané funkce a nástroje systému Citace.com a Citace PRO (importy z katalogu, ISBN, DOI, citační lišta do Firefoxu a plugin do Wordu).

Catalogization of RESTful webservices
Koch, Ondřej ; Burkoň, Lukáš (advisor) ; Jansa, Václav (referee)
Currently there is a lot of enterprise middleware platforms based on SOAP-oriented webservices. However common message oriented middleware does not fully satisfy the need of integration small to middle sized services keeping the expenses reasonably low. The main goal of this thesis is to provide the analysis, and achitecture of a catalog for REST based webservices and to provide implementation at least for the purpose of practical examples. This catalog should enable it's users the publication of REST webservices, their categorization, searching, sharing and providing metainformation and therefore providing support for the deployment process, propagation, maintanance and further development and therefore lead to higher standarization of these services. The system should be percieved as a proof of concept of support system of a RESTful MOM.
Grey Literature 2.0
Simandlová, Tereza
The paper tries to describe grey literature in the context of platforms and tools of the web 2.0. We can follow up that increasing trends in the scientific communication are e.g. microblogging, scientific blogging and there are also scientific social networks in the distribution cycle of grey literature. Except the examples of grey literature 2.0, the paper also discusses the problems of the promotion of grey literature and grey literature community through the social media.

Application of cloud computing for map graphics processing automation, cost optimization using simulation methods
Fröhlich, Martin ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
The thesis deals with the use of cloud computing to solve computationally intensive task. Simulation methods are employed to analyze the operation of the proposed system before putting it into operation. Cloud computing makes the functionality of modern data centers accessible to small businesses, cloud allows scaling up and scaling down of resource usage on an as-needed basis; moreover, without high initial investments and long-term commitments. The paper examines in detail the ways to adapt the currently most popular cloud environment of Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud to the specific requirements of custom applications and suggests ways to automate the process of creation and customization of instance images. The automation and management of running applications in cloud environment is demonstrated on the example of geographic data processing and map generation application. The simulation model for running applications in the cloud is built and exploited to verify the ability of the proposed solutions to succeed in a production deployment.
Cloud computing and its application in practice
Kozák, Jaroslav ; Svoboda, Jiří (advisor) ; Kunstová, Renáta (referee)
Goal of this work is to define the concept of cloud computing. Then I analyzed the market for cloud computing, the use in business for small and medium enterprise. The work deals with the analysis of the Czech market, SaaS, IaaS and for the world market we provide an overview of catalogs, which provides cloud computing providers. After analyzing the markets deal with a case study to compare the solution of the classical way and the use of technology solutions for cloud computing. The definition of cloud computing, I used the definition of many foreign authors, and the definition of NIST. When analyzing the market, I searched online applications and SaaS applications and evaluate whether the SaaS model, or ASP. In the case study I conducted an analysis of TCO costs for ICT / IT solutions in the classical pathway and the use of cloud computing. When we came out in the analysis as a better solution using cloud computing. As the main contribution of the paper I define a case study that compares the address ICT / IT in a classic way, using cloud computing. In this case the forecasts were to materialize, that cloud computing is based on the cheaper end customer. The structure of work is the definition of the concept and its distribution for better understanding. Then I planted the notion of cloud computing in its historical context, I can answer two questions, namely whether it is a buzzword, and why cloud computing flourishes today. Then I conducted a market analysis, cloud computing, when I tried to search and select products that I use for finding work in the case study, comparing two solutions.
New Media in Communication within Communities
Šedivý, Jan ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Matuštík, Ondřej (referee)
Opening part of this paper is dedicated to the ongoing shift in social communication paradigm. An introduction to the subject of new media, web 2.0 concepts and social network sites phenomenon is followed by a discussion of integration possibilities of particular web 2.0 services. Some concerns about privacy, security, legislative framework and general openness of such system are discussed afterwards. A real case study of community virtualization process is introduced in the second part of this thesis. The case takes place in community of local non-profit club of youth and children. First, it is carried out an analysis of the communication receiver groups and the message types. We also describe the ongoing project of launching a new web site (made from several integrated web 2.0 services) and partial results of pilot implementation. Finally, the plan of the next integration steps is designed.
Web services and their use
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (referee)
The Subject of this bachelor thesis is to point out the current trends in the area of the development and deployment of web services including their implementation in the specific programming languages and specific IDE's The most commonly used programming languages for development of web services are Java and .NET. However support for web services is currently present in all programming languages. In this bachelor thesis there are listed examples of web service implementation in Java and PHP. As a development enviroment is used NetBeans IDE. This bachelor thesis is also focused on Web service alternatives such as REST and XML-RPC. Besides Web services, part of this thesis is devoted to XML technology which is the core technology for Web services and without it. Work with Web services would be difficult to manage. The goal of this thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of web services and their most commonly used alternatives, including specific examples of implementation.
Signing in users using simpleSAMLphp
Vrbík, Tomáš ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
The document theoretically and practically deals with capabilities of using shared authentication in 3 varieties. The first is technologically easiest alternative of direct access to the authentication database. Second one is usage of shared authentication website, commonly known as Open ID. Third option is Single Sign-On system. The goal is to solve the fact dominating in use, where there is a need to have a special account set for every service user uses. The amount of services supporting shared authentication is minor. The second part of the document describes in detail the deployment of simpleSAMLphp, the web application designed for an implementation of the Single Sign-On. For the implementation a web server with PHP support has been used. As an application, which uses the shared authentication via simpleSAMLphp, WordPress was picked. Authenticating users on the side of Identity Provider was done against LDAP directory server OpenDS.
