Mobile System for Text Recognition on iOS
Bobák, Petr ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes a development of a modern client-server application for text recognition on iOS platform. The reader is acquainted with common principles of a client-server model, including its known architecture styles, and with a distribution of logical layers between both sides of the model. After that the thesis depicts current trends and examples of suitable technologies for creating an application programming interface of a web server. Possible ways of text recognition on the server side are discussed as well. In context of a client side, the thesis provides an insight into iOS platform and a few important concepts in iOS application development. Following implementation of the server side is stressed to be reusable as much as possible for different kinds of use cases. Last but not least, the thesis provides a simple iOS framework for a direct communication with the recognition server. Finally, an application for evaluation of food ingredients from a packaging material is implemented as an example of usage.
Advanced Error Recovery during Bottom-Up Parsing
Regéciová, Dominika ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with advanced methods for error recovery during bottom-up parsing. It describes and compares methods with the modified grammar FUN. It creates a web-based interface, Project Alan, where chosen methods are implemented for the simulation of error recovery process. The author also added her own method and she compared it with others.
Django framework based web application for objective analysis of hypokinetic dysarthria
Čapek, Karel ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Galáž, Zoltán (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the calculation of parameters that would be able to differentiate healthy speech and speech impaired by hypokinetic dysarthria. There was staged hypokinetic dysarthria, which is a motoric disorder of speech and vocal tract. Were studied speech signal processing methods. Further parameters were studied, which could well differentiate healthy and diseased speech. Subsequently, these parameters were programmed in Python programming language. The next step was to create a web application in Django framework, which is used for the analysis of the dyzartic speech.
Automatic System for Downloading of Scientific Papers
Šebela, Ondřej ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Goal of this work is the creation of application designed for automatic downloading of scientific papers by using online databases of scientific publications. This work is studying the structure and means of retrieving information about scientific documents. It also describes the final application and rates it based on results of testing.
Enhanced Package Repository Management for Fedora Linux
Hlavatý, Martin ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with optimalisation of creating and updating package repositories of linux distribution Fedora. Problem is solved by creating a remote cache containing checksums of RPM files and by modifying createrepo to make it access this cache. Communication is done using XML-RPC protocol.
Information System for Fair User Policy Management
Horčička, Jakub ; Kaštovský, Petr (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis presents methods for monitoring network activity with an aim to Cisco Systems NetFlow technology. Following chapters describe implementation of an information system that uses this technology especially for making the stats about particular users and allows checking of rules and data limits determined in ofeered tarifes.
Commented Scientific Bibliography
Oram, Vojtěch ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes science portal with focus on annotated bibliography. The main objective was to create tools for easier searching, organizing and annotating scientific publications. The result application was implemented in web framework Django and supports desired functionality for creating bibliographies.
System for the Data Presentation and Data Collection
Skácel, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a tool that allows receiving data from multiple agents and representation of those data to logged in users. Model of recorded data is created by designer using special tool integrated into developed aplication. The application backend is implemented in Python language using Model-view-controller design pattern. Used database management system is MySQL. For definition of views within the application is used application specific scripting programming language.
Information System for Fair User Policy Management
Vykydal, Oldřich ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
Main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement information system for the management of Fair User Policy, or abbreviated as FUP. This whole project is based on the use of NetFlow technology to monitor the computer network through the monitoring of network flows. The resulting information system will enable network administrators to set limits to customers in the volume of transferred data and subsequent monitoring of their compliance. If the customer is in breach of these limits, the information system will allow the penalty. The system will also record some statistics on network traffic.
Design and Implementation of Project and Time Management Tool Based on Real-Time Task Scheduling Principles
Mokrá, Radka ; Květoňová, Šárka (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of application for scheduling projects and time using principles of real time scheduling. In the beginning this thesis describes project management and time management and their principles. In the next chapter are principles and algorithms of scheduling in real time system described. The next chapter deals with design of application for scheduling projects and time using principles of real time scheduling. MVC design pattern is described in following chapter.Implementation of tool is desribed in next-to-last chapter a the last chapter is devoted to use cases of final tool.
