Web Design Characteristics - Online Shops Layout Analysis in Czech Republic

The importance of information still grows at the present time of information age. Besides, the internet is bottomless source of information and also infinite communication channel it is powerful tool to make a profit too. Many people appreciate its potential and many of them even established a business on internet or expanded their services to this dimension. The result was rapid growth of competition in e-commerce area. Companies try to catch their customers all possible ways. That's why there is tendency in webdesign focusing on user's needs and comfort. This work deals one of the main parts of webdesign. Namely layout and component position on the website. Work contains theoretical part -- characteristic of layout and practical part -- analyses layout of e-shops in Czech Republic.
Web Navigation on E-commerce Websites in the Czech Republic

The primary purpose of this study is to explore web navigation design practices on e-commerce sites in the Czech Republic. Qualitative research methodology was utilized in this study defining: sample of e-commerce sites, navigation types and qualitative design properties of web navigation. The collected data are presented in compliance with the utilized methodology including summary of important empirical evidences in shape of recommendation for e-commerce companies. The thesis consists of four parts: the first chapter brings up an introduction to web navigation and sets thesis philosophy. The next chapter introduces the theoretical discourse about navigation systems and design characteristics as information base for the third part describing methodology of qualitative characteristics adherent to web navigation which are evaluated in the final part.
Electronic business in Slovakia

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to specify and analyze the concept of electronic business, specially the one part of it- e-shop, which includes application to the chosen company. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The theoretical part consists of two sections. First chapter characterize the concept of the Internet and all activities connected with its. Also analyzes pros and cons and the development of the Internet. Electronic business is main topic of the second chapter. First the concept of e-business is discussed in general and then all his forms are specified. The chapter consists of positive and negative sides that are brought by electronic business. The practical part deals with concept of e-shop in overall, as well is extended of concrete example. The conclusion is summing up all gained information and offer some solution and possibilities for the companies, which are in position to introduce e-shop to their business philosophy.
Project Management in the E-business projects

The bachelor work propose complex procedure of managing e-business projects. It begins in project concept (rights establishment of goals, deadlines, budget and selection of resources), after that follow analyses (market analysis, database analysis, process analysis and analysis of application architecture). Than it continues with process plan (list of tasks to be done and their delegation) and project implementation, at which is closely connected testing (user, security and execution) it ends with closing of project. The second part contains list of selected software tools, which enabling efective managing of project and its description. The tools are divided to commerce and non-commerce.

Improving the competitiveness of e-shop using internet advertising

The subject of thesis is examining the impact of internet advertising and web site usability on the competitiveness of internet commerce. The aim of this work is the successful application of theoretical knowledge to practical examples of e-shop Lahůdkářství Jan Paukert. This application should show an increase in attendance and achievement of higher sales. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge in the field of usability and web ads, the second deals with their application to the internet shop.

Establishment and functioning of e-shop in the branch of ironmongery

The goal of this work is to describe to readers possible methods of establishment and operation e-shop. In the first section are presented procedures, which are required to make before technical realizing e-shop. This part is mainly concerned on economic analysis, where is point on basic questions, which is important to answer before technical realizing e-shop. Above all question relating characterization product, suppliers, customers, competition and SWOT analysis. Next is requirements to answer the question about legal essentials and search market which offers many kinds of technical solutions to establishment e-shop. The second section of this work is focused on practical establishment e-shop concerned in basic graphical adjustment and impletion data to e-shop on selected system FastCentrik. This work is oriented on concrete example e-shop e-zelezarstvi.cz
Projection and implementation of web application for support of internet trading

The goal of the work is to analyse, project and implement web application which will provide users and operators with basic function of an electronic shop. The work will catch the emergence of the application from the first projects to the final implementation. The application will be using an interface of web browsers, it will be implemented in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and SQL languages. A Database will be one of the very basic components of the whole application. Its regular projection will be necessary for the behaviour of the whole programme and it will be emphasized during the projection. The acquistion of the work will be a functional application, which could be used by little businesses (after a little correction as a particularly customization and design adapting) for their activity. The work will also show that creation of a similar application does not need to be only a subject of activity of a team of experts, but that a qualified individual can also reach a nice result. The work will have six chapters. The present condition analysis will target the trends of present electronic shops. It will find out their functions and services. System requirements will emerge of the analysis and they will determine main functionality of the application. Global analysis will define entities and relationships and then it will construct the design of the logical data structure. Detail analysis will give the attributes of entities, transform logical design into a conceptual and physical model of a database, and determine referential integrity. In implemention part, the application itself will emerge and search engine optimization and safety will also be mentioned there. The last chapter will be about the possibilities of extension which could improve utility value of the system.
