Desigm of the 3D printer for print material with carbon fibers
Chaloupka, Matyáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with FDM 3D printing method with emphasis on printing carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The aim of this thesis is to engineer the FDM 3D printer designed for printing CFRP and to execute the experiment targeted on comparison of CFRP material properties against commonly used 3D printing plastics such as PLA, ABS, PET etc. The device designed in this work has printing area of 200 x 200 mm with maximum height of the object of 200 mm. The printing bed is heated and the whole device is enclosed. There are two kinds of experiments carried out within the thesis. The first one is focused on tensile strength and Young's modulus of selected materials, while the second experiment compares Charpy's impact strength of specimen with different infill percentage on two selected materials, PET and PET filled with chopped carbon fiber.

ZAJÍC, Zdeněk
The first part of this work presents the history of 3D printing, 3D printing processes andmodel formats for 3D printing. The following chapter presents the most widely used 3D printer technologies, advantagesand disadvantages of 3D printing and spheres where 3D printing can be used. In practical part is described the printer and the software, which were used for printing of educational models. There are also links, where can be found plenty of quality educational models. In conclusion are presented the most frequent problems of 3D printing and a description of educational models.
Geometry Correction of a Prototype Part using the Reverse Engineering Technology
Smejkal, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarises some modern engineering technologies, namely Reversed Engineering, Rapid Prototyping and Soft-tooling. The Theory chapter describes the mentioned technologies in details and an extra attention is paid to those used in the Experimental chapter. The Experimental chapter summarises steps involved in a prototype part manufacturing. Specifically, in this thesis the method of Reversed Engineering includes 3D scanning followed by smoothing and adjusting of the obtained point cloud in the GOM Inspect V8 software. The final 3D CAD model is obtained in the Catia software. For the Rapid Prototyping the 3D CAD model was 3D printed using the FDM technology. The obtained 3D printed master model was used to prepare a silicone mould that was subsequently used to create an identical part by the method of Soft-tooling. The original part and parts obtained by 3D printing and moulding were compared in the GOM Inspect V8 software by the method of Surface Analysis.
Replacement of human bones by synthetic materials using 3D printing
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first section summarizes the theory of the issue. Here we are unified theoretical information about the various possibilities of different approaches. The result of this part is therefore a general summary of theoretical possible procedures of creation bone implant, where each are listed the advantages and disadvantages. The theoretical part also contains information that ultimately, in practice, the author did not use. But his idea was to create a comprehensive look at the issue from several angles. The second part uses theoretical knowledge from the previous set of information as a basis for defining the steps required to successfully manage the issues of bone 3D printing. The third part will follow the guidelines of both previous and focuses on practical making bones and subsequent evaluation method chosen. There are discussed various steps that led to the final conclusion, making bones and work is then focused on the evaluation of the success of selected procedures and recommendations for future action.
Design and implementation of dimensional modification of FDM 3D printer REBEL II
Fabig, Jan ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis propose a dimensional modification of 3D printer Rebel II. Includes brief description of basic technologies of rapid prototyping, more detailed description of printer and dimensional modification propose. Part of thesis is also building and modification performance. Printing area was extended from original 200x200 mm to 200x300 mm.
New Technologies in Tourism
HUSÁKOVÁ, Kristýna
New technologies are part of our lives. Therefore, every entrepreneur who wants to be successful, should use them. The main aim of this thesis is to assess current trends, modern tools and technologies used in tourism, focusing on 3D printing and to develop general recommendation for Czech companies. At first, this work deals with the principle of tourism. It also describes current technologies such as reservation systems, mobile applications and especially the 3D printing. This type of printer is used in many fields. The practical part focuses on a number of case studies related to 3D printers in the food industry. The knowledge gained from these studies are used to create a business plan. The plan includes the product 3D printers in confectionery, comparing 3D printers, financial plan and other recommendations. The result of this plan is used as a recommendation for confectioneries, which are interested in innovation of their business.
Printing objects for mastering the basics of 3D modeling
BOLVÁRI, Ondřej
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of example tasks designed to model objects. These tasks are created in two 3D designing programs. Selected tasks are included basic methods for creating 3D models. The tasks are compared in terms of the methods and principles used in both programs. The differences and demands of creation of the given program are described in this bachelor thesis. The thesis is involved analysis of other programs as well, which can be used for same or similar application. Only main condition for inclusion this programs to this work was their free distribution. At the end of the theoretical part of this thesis, is made discussion which is analyzed the difficulty of model creation and this part is decided under which conditions the model can be printed. The practical part of the thesis is solved modeling process and the final 3D print. 3D print process is processed in detail, all printing errors are written and explained. There are added to the possibilities of omitting these errors in the future as well. The tasks for designing of simple objects are the result of this bachelor thesis. This task is being examined the knowledge and skills of the beginner and subsequent selection of suitable tasks for 3D print. Complete work is placed on the website. The website also includes the list with programs for 3D object creating and 3D printing with freeware license. There are the links for downloading these programs as well. The website is contained complete practical part of this bachelor thesis which can be downloaded and you can to deepen your knowledge and skills. This thesis is suitable for beginner designers and for students who attend schools where is taught 3D graphics.
