Motion programmes to influence body composition and physical fitness of seniors
Hráský, Pavel ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Štilec, Miroslav (referee) ; Holmerová, Iva (referee)
In this work we focused on the application of physical activity, which aimed to reduce the negative impact of physical deprivation and associated functional and structural changes in the musculoskeletal system. The principal criterion was the diagnosis of the organ systems of the locomotor system, focusing on the muscular system. The subsequent application of appropriate forms of exercise intervention was designed to mitigate the effects of the aging process and functional changes in the body of the senior individual. Finally, we wanted to assess the impact of changes in body composition in its own self- sufficiency and independence of older people and the quality of life of older people in terms of physical and psychosocial aspects. The most significant is the loss of muscle mass, sarcopenia development, increase fat mass with frequent reductions in body weight. The focus of our work and its specific purpose is to clarify the influence of the applied physical interventions. To assess changes in body composition are needed for our work used the method of multi Bioanalysis. Results in body composition in older adults have been evaluated and intra-individual measured data were compared with the general senior population. Kinesiology testing shortened muscle groups was carried out repeatedly to reduce...
Intervention motion program for women using walking barefoot.
BENDOVÁ, Dominika
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to the design of an Interventional movement program using barefoot walking and verifying the progress of the equilibrium abilities of the tested women. Because of research, 20 women were divided into experimental and control groups. In general, women often wear unsuitable high or narrow shoes, which has a detrimental effect not only on the balance but also on shortening of the muscles, deformation of the foot arch and fingers and it can cause other diseases of the whole musculoskeletal system. Women underwent an initial measurement to determine the level of equilibrium abilities. Women underwent entry and exit measurements using motor tests to determine the level of equilibrium. With the pre-set hypotheses in mind, it has been concluded that the experimental group improved in 5 motor tests from 7, the control group was more successful in 2 tests, but only within negligible tenths of a second, a statistically insignificant difference. The respondents' success rate in dynamic equilibrium was higher after completion of the program, with 51.85% than the static equilibrium with 48.15%, the whole 3.7%. The dynamic balance is more stimulated by barefoot than the static one. Due to the exercise and the inclusion of barefoot walking throughout the three-month program, the experimental group increased its level of equilibrium ability.
Effects of short-term parkour training programme on selected physical fitness components in adolescents
Dvořák, Martin ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Nosek, Martin (referee) ; Frömel, Karel (referee)
Title: Effects of short-term parkour training programme on selected components of physical fitness in adolescents Objective: The aim of this work was to assess the influence of parkour on selected components of physical fitness - body composition, muscle fitness, aerobic fitness, flexibility - in a short-term programme. Methods: The ten-week experimental study dealt with the possibilities of using parkour to influence the parameters of physical fitness in boys age 16±2 years (N=10). Subjects went through measurement of bioelectrical analysis of body composition, muscle strength and endurance field tests, cardiopulmonary testing, sit-and-reach test. One-way analysis of variance with repeated measures (ANOVA) was used for statistical analysis. The strength of relationship between dependent and independent variables was expressed as unbiased effect size measure omega squared (ω2 ). Pearson two-tailed correlations were used to determine associations between measured parameters. Results: No significant changes in any body composition variables were observed with the parkour intervention. Fat mass increased by 0.18 %, fat free mass (FFM) decreased by 0.07 kg and the extracellular mass-body cell mass ratio (ECM/BCM) decreased by 0.02. Participants significantly improved standing broad jump distance (p <...

The effect of exercise in the fitness center, depending on client education
Žižka, Jan ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Štohanzl, Michal (referee)
The title of the thesis: The effect of exercise in the fitness center, depending on client education The aim of the thesis: The thesis aims to identify the reasons for clients to access the fitness center, their training goals and whether collaboration client with a personal trainer to improve the effectiveness of training and the effective achievement of client objectives. The methods of the thesis: We conducted a deliberate choice of people without regular physical activity history. Clients never attended a regular fitness center. The experimental group was composed of 10 clients. These were 5 women and 5 men. The age range was from clients 23-47 years, weight rating ranging from 61 kg to 105 kg, and the height was from 157 cm to 192 cm. Sedentary work has 6 surveyed respondents, 4 respondents have a job that requires some physical activity. The content of the diagnostic work is both polling questionnaire form - an exercise regimen, and anthropometric and motor testing - chin on the unit, operating in support of the forearm and run to 1500 m Entrance diagnosis was made before starting the program, the month followed by diagnosis and control after the second months ago, we made a diagnosis output. The results of the thesis: The results of diagnostic exercises show that the month exercise program...
Artrosis of knee joint
Jahnová, Michaela ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Movement as a prevention of arthritis of the knee joint Objectives: The aim of my work is to sum up all the available facts concerning the problems related to arthritis of the knee joint and, on the basis of the results of the literature search, to make a recommendation of a training programme for its prevention. The intended objective is to focus on the causes of its formation and development and to use this knowledge in the suggestion of the training programme which could help to prevent or delay the onset and reduce the progression of this disease. Methods: For the Bachelor work I will be collecting, sorting and organising all my information. As a result of this examination of literature I will achieve my intended goal for this Bachelor work. Results: I found out that we cannot cure arthritis of the knee joint, we can only reduce its development and final results. The most important part is the prevention, which includes daily functional exercise and specially designed programmes. Developed muscles stabilise the knee joint and therefore intelligently planned daily activity is important for the construction of an intact knee joint which is needed to ensure safe operation in many sports and even in our daily activities. I focused the recommendation of a training programme on the midlife and...
Health Education in Adequate Psysical Exercise Regimen for Women in Menopause
HROMKOVÁ, Renata
In today's society youth, beauty and performance are considered to be the most important. At the same time, a modern woman spends up to one third of her life with a lack of sex hormones. Menopause brings a number of changes in both physical and psychological ways. This involution process is irreversible, however health education through an educational programme of comprehensive approach of Pilates can help these women to ease acceptance of this life phase. For this work I used DVD materials I've already developed for my previous work Pilates Method for the Senior Population and I also created a new challenging educational programme. Keywords: adequate exercise regime, educational programme, harmonization, Pilates method, health promotion intervention motion programme, menopause
Comparison of interventionist, motion and rehabilitation method in Pilates and yoga by mentally disabled children aged 8-15 years.
KROUPOVÁ, Petra
Bachelor´s work deals with a comparison of the intervention kinetic and rehabilitation method of Pilates and yoga and its´ influence on 8-15 years old children with mental disability. Dur?ing all the period, an influence of these kinetic activities on the health and value orientation of the proband was observed. The aim of the work was the creation of kinetic program focused on mental disabled children, where for one proband group the Pilates kinetic method was ap?plied and for the second group yoga exercises were applied. To accomplish this aim, a period of three months was set for the application of formerly prepared program. On the basis of achieved findings and measured results, two basic suppositions were affirmed: both, the Pi-late?s kinetic methods and yoga affected positively the health of the proband and further-more, an improvement of the personality value orientation of examined individual occurred.
Intervention motion program in the elderly living in homes for the elderly.
ZAHRÁDKOVÁ, Kamila
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the health condition parameters and value ladders of senior citizens participating in the intervention mobility program and to assess the impact of adequate physical activity on their general wellness and value orientation. The opening chapter of the bachelor thesis deals with the general problems of aging and old age, elaborating on the individual concepts and contingencies that invariably accompany these issues. The next part of the thesis details certain relevant facts about homes for the elderly, comparing care for the elderly in the past and today. Furthermore, the first part of the thesis focuses on intervention mobility programs, describing what these programs are about, what is considered adequate physical activity, and what role the retention of mobility plays in the life of the elderly in general. The second part of the bachelor thesis concentrates on processing the concrete data and results acquired in the course of the intervention mobility program organized in a home for the elderly. Upon completing the intervention mobility program, we can say that the program did have positive effects, but not in all of the parameters measured. In other words, while certain health condition parameters and value orientation parameters did reach the desired results, others recorded practically no improvement at al.
Intervention motion children's program with auditory and mental disability for the age range from 8 to 15 years
BAUEROVÁ, Miroslava
These bachelor thesis deal with the Intervention motion program for children from the age of 8 to 15 years, affected by the mental and hearing disability. The experimental phase of thesis was oriented towards motional activities and their influence on selected individuals as well as the value orientation of the specific personality. The main work objective was to prepare special motional training program, created on psychomotor basis, for children affected by mental disability. For the experimentation in area of hearing disability, psychomotor games were used as supplement activities only. Three months training period was proposed in order to fulfill all program tasks. Thanks to the experimentation inside this area and the comparison of measured results we can support the following statements: the motional activity has the positive influence on health of selected sample of probands; by the realization of well prepared training program one can increase the value personal orientation of specific individual.
