Except the planning of project the thesis also analyzes current situation and decides whether the project is suitable for realisation. Thesis also includes teoretical background required for understanding this issue. The result of this thesis can be used as a basis for realization of the project.

Project Risk Management in an International Company

The diploma thesis introduces processing of an analysis that is realized within an engineering company that had decided to transfer its production from Nordic countries such as Norway and Sweden to the Czech Republic. The company decided to deal with the transfer without any use of project management and planning according to project management and its techniques. Therefore the diploma thesis is supposed to present how the project could look like if it was done by project methodology. The main parts of project are analysis of time, sources, costs and risk analysis. These are preceded by situation analysis which is resulted into SWOT. Factors mentioned in SWOT are used as inputs into risk analysis. Subsequently the risks are identified, evaluated and the proposals for reducing the risks are presented.

Long-term apartment-usage-related risks

Diploma thesis solves what to do with the old flat in the long-term horizon considering all possible risks. Thesis analyses current status of the flat and calculates its approximate price in the reality market. Then it compares rentability of hiring with the option of selling and investing to the three most common bank products. It analyses risks associated with all options. The output is the recommendation of the most profitable option considering the owners interests.

The diploma thesis is focused on the risk evaluation of the proposal for introduction of automated production line in the company Krespo Ltd. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of the selected company to proposing an automated line including an indication of the benefits of this proposal and the risk evaluation related to the introduction of the line. The first part deals with the theoretical knowledge related to the topic. Subsequently, the processed analytical part, where the company is characterized and there are also analysis of internal and external environment, including SWOT analysis. The last part deals with the proposal for introduction of automated line, its benefits and risk evaluation associated with its introduction in the company.

Operational safety of mobile robots in indoor environment

During cooperation with the Bender Robotics company a need for operational safety assessment of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) emerged. Operational safety evaluation is a step towards mass production of the studied robot. Market entry of a product requires a string of various actions and safety assessment is one of them. For risk identification and severity rating were used legal requirements, best practice given by standards, FMEA method, experiment and RIPRAN method. Threats, possible scenarios and risks analysis is systematically discussed through all areas of operation of the robot, from design and construction to control software. All the steps are described in logical order. Starting with information research, going on with series of analysis and ending with suggestions for increased operational safety of autonomous mobile robots.

The topic of this diploma thesis is an analysis and selection of the new information and point of sale system for groceries divisions of the Inva Group a.s. company. First part of this thesis focuses on analysis of the current IT conditions in the company and on drawing up the requirements for the selection of the information system itself, based on the analysis of the company’s business processes. The second part will be focused on market analysis, and will present different options for information and POS systems and depending on the chosen IS, the timeline and the financial plan of the implementation itself will be created at the end.

Information System Selection

This thesis deals with the selection of the optimal information system in the company KSK Bono s. r. o. The theoretical part in more detail specifies the information system as a whole. Analytical section specifically describes and analyzes the current information system of the company and the company's strategy. Solution suggestions describe what requirements should comply with the new system and what are its future benefits. Part of this work is also the implementation plan, costing, risk analysis and the possibility of their elimination.
