Internal migration in Moravian-Silesian region in 1995 - 2005

Bachelor thesis describes trends of internal migration in Moravian-Silesian region in years 1995-2005 and identifies causes of single development trends. Thesis introduces theoretical problems related to analysis of internal migration, including description of approaches to internal migration analysis. Consequently, selected migration indicators are described, including calculation, strengths and weaknesses of indicators. Starting point of analysis is description of internal migration related characteristics of all cantons of Moravian-Silesian region. Analysis continues with calculation of internal migration indicators for all cantons. Calculated indicators are used to evaluate internal migration trends. In bachelor thesis conclusion position of all single cantons in Moravian-Silesian region is evaluated, including definition of problematic cantons.

Interregional Migration - Position, Development and Specificity of the Capital City of Prague

The diploma thesis deals with migration of human population in the Czech Republic, with a focus on position of the capital city of Prague in the process. The thesis concerns on migration trends among regions of the Czech Republic, and deals with the process of suburbanization within the specific relationship between Prague and districts of the Central Bohemian Region. The subject of my diploma is also internal and external migration of foreigners as a more significant phenomenon in czech society, with the emphasis on Prague as well. The thesis includes evaluation of the basic structural characteristics of inmigrants and outmigrants (migration by age, sex, educational attainment) and also examination of reasons of migration in the area and its consequences with expectations about future trends. There are common used, relative indicators of migration in the thesis. The analysis was carried out in 1994--2007, in some cases in shorter period.

Life insurance and pension reforme

This paper focuses on the analysis of the Czech pension system identifying reasons for its financial non-sustainability. These reasons are outlined in the chapter on the demographic situation. Further chapters analyse the pension reform and its follow-up stages which are needed for the system to be functional. Substantial space is devoted to life insurance, individual types of insurance and the analysis of the current situation on the market which is soon going to be affected by the current pension reform. The last part of the Bachelor's paper deals with supplementary pension schemes whose role on the Czech market is very important as they ensure additional income in the post-active age. It is the second phase of the pension reform in particular which will have a significant impact on supplementary pension schemes.

Seniors - demographic, social and regional view

This thesis deals with an analysis of the status of the elderly population in the Czech society in terms of demographic, socio-economic and regional point of view. The demographic part discusses the structural evolution of the Czech population over the time, with emphasis on its senior component. The demographic analysis examines reasons for these structural changes and their current impact. It includes also predictions of the course of the future development. The regional part reflects various differences that exist in populations (both general and elderly) in particular regions of the Czech Republic, and how have these populations changed over the last ten years. The socio-economic perspective includes social and psychological aspects of the conversion to the economically inactive part of life, it takes into account the financial provision and also analyses the offer of social services in terms of financial and regional aspects. The thesis concludes with a summarization of opportunities that are offered by governmental and private subjects for the pursuit of an adequate active life of seniors.

Supplementary pension insurance and its connection with the pension reform

Tato práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou českého důchodového systému. Jeho současná podoba nevyhovuje stávajícím podmínkám a z dlouhodobého hlediska není finančně udržitelná. Hlavní příčinu spatřujeme v nepříznivém demografickém vývoji. Jednou z možností, jak tuto situaci vyřešit, je reforma spočívající v zavedení povinného fondového pilíře k nynějšímu PAYG systému. Tento fondový pilíř vychází z penzijního připojištění. Práce dále pojednává o způsobu fungování, financování, otázce povinnosti, dobrovolnosti a bezpečnosti nové kapitálové části důchodového systému.

Wirtschaftsgeografische Analyse des Landkreises Náchod

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na socioekonomickou analýzu okresu Náchod. Hlavním cílem práce je vypracování SWOT analýzy. Práce dále zahrnuje jak vlastní historii okresu, tak historii jeho správního členění v minulosti a její vývoj až do současnosti. Geografická analýza zhodnocuje geografickou polohu v rámci Královéhradeckého kraje. Důraz je také kladen na dopravní infrastrukturu. V této souvislosti je zmíněna problematika územního plánování. Součástí práce je také analýza obyvatelstva zabývající se různými demografickými ukazateli. Nejdůležitější ukazatele jsou porovnávány s ostatními okresy Královéhradeckého kraje. Okrajově se práce zabývá politickým složením místní samosprávy, činností neziskových organizací v okrese a realizovanými projekty z fondů Evropské unie.

Social and Demographic Analysis of the Tábor District

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sociální a demografickou analýzou okresu Tábor. Práce je zaměřena na popis jednotlivých sociálních a demografických charakteristik tohoto okresu, na jejich analýzu a časové a místní porovnání, dále také na předpověď jejich vývoje. Postupně se věnuje základním sociálně-ekonomickým charakteristikám okresu s důrazem na základní charakteristiku okresu, jeho osídlení a správní členění a další významné ukazatele týkající se obyvatelstva, průmyslu a služeb, školství, zdravotnictví a infrastruktury okresu Tábor, následně se zabývá demografickou analýzou obyvatelstva a prognózou jejího vývoje, dále sociální strukturou obyvatelstva sledovaného okresu s důrazem na charakteristiky nezaměstnanosti, vzdělání a bytové výstavby. V další části je provedena swot analýza okresu Tábor a hodnocení dopadů sociálního a demografického vývoje na další rozvoj okresu, obsahující formulaci závěrů a doporučení vyplývajících z této analýzy.

Práce hodnotí připravenost společnosti na její rozšíření a přesun závodu. Navrhuje, jak by měl být řešen dočasný HR management a jaké by měl mít pravomoce. Demograficky analyzuje novou lokalitu závodu. Práce přináší návod, jak by měly být v budoucnu zpracovány některé pracovně právní dokumenty.
