The thesis called "Expert proofs" deals with one of the types of proper evidence which is applied in cases when an expert report is necessary to clarify facts important for criminal trial proceedings. Thesis is divided into 5 basic chapters. The first chapter is introductory and talks about some of the general problems of expert laws - evaluation of the current legal regulations of expert's function - expert law and expert ordinance, especially from the point of view of the changes that these legal regulations have undergone as well as the forthcoming changes in the form of updating of the current law and preparation of a brand new law. It also talks about definition of an expert, especially the difference between a witness and a consultant, then briefly about their rights and duties in the criminal trial proceedings in general. The second chapter deals with the presence of an expert explicitly in criminal trial proceedings and is divided into three parts. The first one provides basic information about admitting an expert and its form. The second one concerns the definition of an expert's assignment and the third one concerns preparation of an expert report, in which the expert familiarizes themselves with the criminal case. Project of Uniform Education System for Expert Activities

Particular parts of the project 'Uniform Education System for Expert Activities' are listed and described in this dissertation. Legal approaches to the issue of expert activities in selected European countries were mapped on the basis of researches. The fact that the current legal regulation of expert activities in the Czech Republic does not include the obligation of the lifelong learning of experts, does not specify the ways and forms of verifying of qualification requirements before appointing to the office, and also does not provide for the further educating after the registering on the list of experts, is seen as a problematic situation. The suggested system is divided in two basic parts: before registering the expert on the list of experts, focusing on the qualification requirements and the way of their verification by administrative authorities, and after appointing to the office and registering to the central list of experts, focusing on lifelong learning during the whole time of practising of the profession, as well as on the form and content. Some basic methods of sociological survey (especially introductory seminars and questionnaire surveys) were used as the information source. These dates were evaluated and applicable conclusions were compiled and integrated into in more detail described components parts of the suggested education system, in which also the already existing training courses and workshops were taken in consideration. For the purpose of regular verifying of expert's professional qualification, a credit system was developed, as well as the periodicity of verifying of the expert's professional qualification and the form of record keeping in the Index of Expert's Professionalism.
Expert capacities of the Czech political parties: case study of defence policy

The thesis deals with marginally explored area of expert capacities of the Czech political parties with respect to the different organizational types of selected political parties and movements. The work aims to find out what expert capacities work for these types of political parties, how these experts are recruited in their position, whether it corresponds to their educational background and professional experiences with function, which are they holding in the expert authority. Work is elaborated in the form of case study, which focuses on the activities of defense policy expert commissions. The text is divided into two theoretical and one empirical chapters. The first chapter deals with the process of policy-making, its actors and activities associated with this process. The second chapter defines the various types of political parties first from the mainstream perspective (cadre, mass, catch-all parties), which complements the modern concept of business party and finally there is a typology of S. Wolinetz (office-seeking, vote-seeking, policy-seeking parties). The last empirical chapter presents the case study focused on four Czech political parties (TOP 09, KSČM, ČSSD and political movement ANO 2011) and their access to party expertise. The result of this work is to compare the level of analytical capacity across selected political parties/movements and testing of hypotheses formulated in the introduction of the thesis.
Valuation of real estate for bank purposes

The thesis is focused on analyzing the general practice appraiser or expert in the valuation of property for purposes of bank. Domestic banks for their own purposes require an estimate of a normal price. According to established procedures were estimated normal price of administrative building, located in the statutory city Havirov. To determine a normal price has been used three methods - cost method or material value, the comparison method and the yield method.
Critical Analysis of Real Estate Evaluation Methods

The first part contains theory, which is necessary for analysis of evaluation methods. The next practical part includes analysis of a particular real estate property.
Basic Issues of the Expertising from the Risck Management

This master´s thesis deals with the identification of risks which affect the operations of experts activities in the Czech Republic. To obtain the necessary information there will be used a questionnaire in which the forensic experts in the field of Economy will be addressed.In the first part of the thesis there are described theoretical recourses which contains the explanation of basic concepts which are connected with identified risks. The second part of the thesis deals with the professional insurance of experts. By the SWOT analysis will be processed each expert knowledge on the topic of “The Basic issues of the expertising from the risk management.“ Finally will be evaluated the current state of expert activities in the Czech Republic and will be suggested possible measures.
Performance Measurement of Selected Drools Tools

Performance testing is often overlooked. This thesis describes the performance testing of the Drools Expert and Drools Fusion tools. Drools is a Business Logic Integration Platform. Expert and Fusion are parts of this platform, which provide rule based expert system and event processing capabilities respectively. Tests are designed and implemented with main focus on finding performance regression between different versions of Expert and Fusion tools. Results for two versions of these tools are discussed at the end of the thesis.
Model-Based Testing of JBoss Drools

Model-based testing (MBT) is using a model of expected behavior of the system to automatically generate a set of tests. It aims at reducing the testing cost when compared to the traditional testing techniques. This work focuses on testing a real-world software system using the selected MBT tool OSMO. The tested system is responsible for compiling business rules and it is one of the main components of the Drools platform, developed by Red Hat. The work describes the introduction of MBT considering the good reception from the community of developers, then the creation of compiler input models and evaluation of the newly created test suite. The usage of the MBT resulted in detection of five reported and three potential issues in the tested code. Using the Drools compiler example, the work summarizes the main strengths and also weaknesses of practical use of MBT techniques.
