The Development of Fine Motoric and Grapho-Motor in Children with Speach Disorders
Merendová, Gabriela ; Hájková, Vanda (referee)
This work is focused on the development of grapho- motor skills in children in a class with modified education programme. The development of motor, intellectual and speech functions in 6 children with impaired communication skill who attended a class with modified education programme in a nursery school were observed within a year. Exercising of fine motor and grapho- motor skills was performed daily beside the routine school programme. Case studies of these children were worked out. The results of these children were compared to the results of a group of 20 children of the same age in a common class of nursery school. Differences in all monitored parameters have been found. The most expressive were the differences in the area of speech functions between both groups. On the other hand, an approximation to the standard of drawing can be seen when comparing figure drawing in these children and in the drawings of their peers from a common class. Key words: pre-school children, grapho-motor skills, fine motor skills, speech functins, impaired communication skill
Motor performance of pupils with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Otipková, Zuzana ; Lejčarová, Alena (advisor) ; Musálek, Martin (referee)
Title: Motor performance of pupils with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Objectives: The aim of the work was to determine the level of fine and gross motor skills of upper extremities of the pupils with diagnosis ADHD at schools specialized on these pupils and compare it with the fine and gross motor skills of upper extremities of children without this diagnosis at common elementary school. Further work objective was to determine the level of gross motor skills of lower limbs and laterality of paired organs (hand - foot) within above mentioned groups of pupils. Methods: To determine the level of fine and gross motor skills of upper extremities, gross motor skills of lower limbs, laterality of the upper and lower extremities of the pupils with and without ADHD aged 9-11 years we used these types of tests: "Spiral", "Dotting test", "Beads" (the level of fine motor skills of the upper extremities); "Pack", "Small plate tapping", "Big plate tapping" (the level of gross motor skills of upper extremities); "Tapping the leg" (the level of gross motor skills of the lower limbs); "Typing out the Rhythm" (the laterality of the lower limbs); "Bell" and "Matches" (the laterality of the upper extremities). Results: The fine motor level of dominant hand was in the case of ADHD diagnosed pupils...
Activities with the paper in education programs pre-primary education
Kučerová, Renáta ; Vodáková, Jitka (advisor) ; Reitmayer, Ladislav (referee)
Abstact The diploma thesis aims to develop the theme "Activities with the paper in education programs pre-primary education", evaluates the importance of these activities for development of fine motor skills and connections to general educational program for preschool education in the Czech Republic. Through survey the thesis examines the experiences of the kindergarten teachers with realization of activities with paper during their work with children and also current status of necessary equipment for this work in kindergarten. The practical section of this diploma thesis summarizes the experiences with realization of an annual project called "We form with paper", in mixed-age class of the kindergarten.
Objectification of disorders fine motor skills of the upper extremities in patients with hereditary neuropathies
Nývltová, Marcela ; Kraus, Josef (referee) ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor)
In the first part of the thesis Objectification of disorders of the fine motor skills of the upper extremities in the patients with hereditary neuropathies there are mentioned some brief informations about characteristics, classifications, clinical symptoms, deformities and testing of upper extremities, rehabilitation and treatment of CMT neuropathy. The practical part of this thesis is concerned with testing and evaluating of strength, fine motor skills and sensation of the upper extremities in the patients with CMT. For the measurement of the hand strenght the dynamometry and the functional muscle test are used. The Jebsen-Taylor test, the Nine-Hole Peg Test and the examination of static and dynamic handgrip rating are used. For the examination of the sensation the Nottingham Sensory Assessment is used. CMT neuropathy score and Overall Neuropathy Disability Scaleare are used for the classification of disability. The aim of this thesis is the comparison of the muscle strength and the function of the dominant and non-dominant hand. Partial aim of thesis is detection of the correlations between tests. According to the results CMT disease leads to the muscle strenght weakness and to worsening of the fine motor skills mainly of the dominant upper extremity. This may be the result of overwork weakness. For...
Physiotherapy of fine motor skills for patiens after cerebrovascular stroke
DAMBOROVÁ, Barbora
The theme of this bachelor thesis is "Physiotherapy of fine motor skills for patiens after cerebrovascular stroke". Stroke is a neurological disease that is caused by a vascular disorder with symptoms corresponding to the affected part of the brain. This disease is the most common and its occurrence can not be reduced despite a great awareness of the risk factors that anyone can affect. The main target of this work is mapping of this stroke issue and its influence on fine motor skills of affected individuals. Than this thesis describe suggestion, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic methods in three probands. Based on those targets a research question was set: What changes in kinesiological testing might occur after the implementation of the proposed therapeutic methods by patiens with impaired fine motor skills after a stroke? This thesis is devided into two main parts: the theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the stroke issue and its manifestation by the affected part of the brain as well as its impact on a man. This part describes fine motor skills, manipulation, grasps and fine motor skills testing. The last chapter introduces the therapy from the perspective of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and therapy using the robotic technology Armeo Spring and Amadeo. The practical part is based on qualitative research, which includes a complete kinesiology and neurological testing and analysis functions of individuals grip. Short and long term rehabilitation plans have been done. Both are based on the testing results. The research was conducted for patients with subacute phase of stroke who were hospitalised on the Rehabilitation or Neurological Department of Hospital České Budějovice a.s. Physiotherapy lasted for two weeks in the hospital each probands at the department. During therapy fine motor skills at all probands have been improved. The research could be considered beneficial.
The development of micro-motor skills in cooperative activities
BARTÍKOVÁ, Irena
The bachelor thesis provides an inspirational material for pedagogical staff on the use of cooperative activities. One of the chapters from the theoretical part is focused on the issue of fine motor skills, their development, possibilities of growth and diagnostics. Another part defines cooperation and developmental traits considering the development of cooperation of preschool children. Last section of the theoretical part deals with cooperation as one of the goals of preschool education, development of cooperation, positive impacts of developing cooperation by games, basic components of cooperative game, cooperative learning and its rating. Practical part consists of development program for fine motor skills in cooperative activities and its evaluation, due to achieving goals in the field of fine motor skills, and cooperation by the pre-treated evaluation plan. In the conclusion of the thesis are summarized recommendations for application of these activities in nursery schools.
Graphmotor preschool child
PŘIKRYLOVÁ, Kristýna
The thesis analyses problems of pre-school age children graphomotoric skills development, prevention of writing skills disorders and possibilities how to help to children with graphomotoric disorders. The aim of the thesis is to describe pre-school age children graphomotoric skills development and to prove the positive influence of stimulative programmes on children graphomotoric skills level. The research results create the base for practical suggestions. The theoretical part solves pre-school age children development questiones considering graphomotoric skills development, beginning with writing and correct working habits for drawing and writing. It also analyses school maturity problems and children´s readiness in connection with the pre-education curriculum. The practical part consists of two items: the first one is preventive stimulative programme methodical material for pre-school children graphomotoric skills development, the second part is a project researching pre-school children graphomotoric skills levels in a particular kindergarten class before and after realizing the preventive stimulative programme with the sample of four children
