GNSS navigation prototype messages visualization
Homolka, Martin ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to graphically interpret navigation messages from a prototype of global navigation satellite system. The resulting application is implemented in Python programming language for Windows operating system and follows requests from researchers developing the prototype. Necessary terminology together with graphical user interface programming possibilities of object-oriented language Python is a base for theoretical background of this text. Practical part of this research describes a solution for receiving generated messages from the prototype as well as their storing and filtering into useful information. Further, the design of graphical user interface of the application for prototype interactions and other tools used for its configuration are included.
Interactive Document Sharing
Jóba, Viktor ; Jurzykowski, Michal (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the real-time sharing and editing of text documents in the network. The synchronization of the document content for all users in the shared session is ensured by the algorithm of operational transformations. This method is described in the thesis in detail. The outcome of the thesis is a simple text editor that communicates over the network using the extended version of the XMPP protocol. One of the users creates a document sharing session in the editor and invites other users to cooperate on the rich text document that can be saved in HTML or exported into PDF.
Real Time Suppression of Atmospheric Turbulence
Macků, Jiří ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This paper deals with removing undesirable image deformations caused by turbulences of Earth's atmosphere. The goal is to design and implement algorithm for suppression of atmosphere turbulence in video sequences to use in long-distance camera monitoring system. This paper also focuses on optimization of existing algorithms for running in real-time. Algorithm will be implemented in C++ programming language with use of library for computer vision OpenCV.
Real-Time Music Improvisation
Mareček, Daniel ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Fapšo, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of a computer system, which is able to improvise music, based on user's playing a musical instrument connected to a computer via MIDI interface. According to my design, the main subsystem that generates music is based on a neural network. After successful implementation the system has been used in practice of music improvisation.
Real-Time Analysis of Audio Signals
Řezáč, Martin ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is creation an application, which can perform real-time fundamental frequency tracking of incoming audio samples. According to detected frequencies, the program generates MIDI messages, which are sent to chosen MIDI device. First, the reader is introduced to the issue of fundamental frequency tracking. The following part describes individual methods, especially the one based on spectral analysis of a tone. A description of used technologies is also a included in this part of this thesis. In the following part, the implementation and testing of application are described including opinions of several musicians about this product. At the end, the whole work is concluded and the possible further development is outlined.
Realtime Weather in a Landscape Visualisation
Vlček, Adam ; Jošth, Radovan (referee) ; Seeman, Michal (advisor)
Thanks to the increasing computation power the complexity and dynamism of virtual reality is continuously improving. This work aims to examine influences of weather in a landscape and the means to simulate and dynamically visualize them in real time on the current personal computer hardware. The main goal is to find quick well looking approximations rather than a complex physically correct simulation. The work covers using modern programmable GPU not only for visualization but also as a powerful simulation instrument. The main topic is water movement in the terrain and its effects on it like erosion, snow melting and moisture impact on vegetation. This requires dynamic terrain texturing and algorithms supporting fast geometry and normals updates.
Detection and Recognition of Matrix Code in Real Time
Dobrovolný, Martin ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work is dealing with detecting and recongnizing matrix codes. It is experimenting use of PCLines algorithm. PCLines is using Hough transform and parallel coordinates for fast detection of lines. Suggested algorithm with double use PCLines detects sets of parallels and problem with image distorted by with parallel projection is solved by cross-ratio equation. We did some optimizations for realtime running and created experimental implementation. Test results shows, that use PCLines one way to detect matrix codes.
Chord recognition
Soudek, Ondřej ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create an application, that will perform a real-time analysis of a signal from electric or acoustic guitar and will recognize a chord or tone, played by user. This document contains basics of music theory and the solution of the problem, as well as the results of testing.
Segmentwise Discrete Wavelet Transform
MATLAB/Simulink, Real-Time simulation and control
Malík, Dalibor ; Chomát, Luděk (referee) ; Dvořáček, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis provides information about a possibility of implementing the real-time, a serial line RS-232 and communication with a programmable controller (PLC) by Bernecker &Rainer (B & R) in MATLAB / Simulink evironment. Further, it provides information about options of creating a block in MATLAB / Simulink, modes of operation of the simulink and implementation of blocks to the blockset. In the proper communication with PLC the principle of PVI is described, the terminology connected with PVI is explained and setting and maintaining the communication between a source station and PLC is specified.
