Applications of Computers in Ultramicro Aviation
Grossová, Žaneta ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system for monitoring flight hours of ultralight aircrafts. First part is an embedded device that is built into the ultralight aircraft and transmits Bluetooth signal. Second part is a mobile application for Android operating system, that keeps running in the background and after connecting to this signal starts recording and processing GPS data. With the right configuration, system is able to independently recognize boarding the airplane, beginning of the flight ad it's ending. Collected data are sent on FTP server in format compatible with Excel.
Deployment of Cloud Services for Embedded IoT Devices
Solčík, Vít ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Main purpose of this thesis is to prepare an analysis of the existing approaches to the realization of cloud-based services for IoT domain and propose a solution demonstrating the exploitation of this concept for embedded devices with constrained resources. Departing from this point, the attention is further given to the aspect of secure TCP/IP communication between cloud service and embedded device using Ethernet interface. An integral part of the proposed solution is also comprising the implementation of necessary firmware for interact with IoT platform via supported network protocols. Last but not least this work is dealing as well with the design and practical deployment of a demonstration application, which uses this communication infrastructure.
Electricity Consumption Measuring Appliance
Hájek, Zdeněk ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis describes the designing and development of electricity consumption meter. First of all, a theoretical basis necessary for understanding a physical principle of measured subject is introduced. In the next part a suitable way of measuring in context of embedded devices is being looked for. Some of peripheral devices useful for project are described briefly. Then follows the detailed description of concept, that in the following part transforms to hardware design. Next part documents creation of the fi rmware. By the end of this thesis the project testing is described as well as the resume of gathered knowledge.
HP 3000 Minicomputer Output Simulator
Klázar, Jakub ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This thesis shows the procedure of designing an embedded device that simulates the outputs of the HP 3000 minicomputer. The simulation is based on writing characters to the terminal and controlling the indicators of the minicomputer. Instructions of the simulation process are read from an SD card with the FAT32 file system. The result is a device that can be easily used to revive HP 3000 minicomputer or minicomputers with an interface similar to it.
Monitor of Exploitation in Ultramicro Aviation
Kudera, Matěj ; Dobeš, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system that will record the operation of an ultralight aircraft in which it will be installed. The thesis analyzes the principles important for the design of this system and creates a detailed proposal, which is based on the acquired knowledge of individual principles. The created system consists of two parts. An embedded device that is built into the ultralight aircraft and records whether it is in motion and a mobile application that allows easy access to records made by the embedded device. The mobile application was made for the Android operating system using the Android Studio development environment and the embedded device was implemented using a Raspberry Pi minicomputer, to which the necessary peripherals were connected. Finally, the functionality of the system was tested using the created tests and test flights of ultralight aircraft with embedded device were performed.
Visual Object Tracking in Realtime
Embedded System Based on Atmel ARM
Oravec, Jakub ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of simple embedded system based on Atmel ARM. There are Atmel's products covering this market segment reviewed in the first part, including the description of a couple of devices. The second part is focused on the aim specification, selection of components, their interconnection, power-supply requirements, price considerations and the design itself. The next chapter describes testing and application of the platform. The conclusion presents the current state of the project and deals with the successive progress.
Implement Rubber Duckies on Available USB Devices and Make a Practical Test
Do, Hung ; Holop, Patrik (referee) ; Tamaškovič, Marek (advisor)
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou počítačových útoků typu BadUSB, implementací jednoho ze zařízení (Rubber Ducky) a následnou obranou proti těmto typům útoků. Mým úkolem je rozbor funkcionality univerzální sériové sběrnice, komunikace mezi hostem a zařízením a slabiny proti BadUSB útokům. Za tímto účelem jsem implementoval composite (složené) USB zařízení při použití mikrokontroleru Raspberry Pi Pico a externí open source knihovny TinyUSB. S funkčním prototypem prezentuji čtenáři několik možných ochranných mechanismů před těmito druhy útoků na operačních systémech Microsoft Windows a GNU/Linux. Tato práce varuje lidi před nevýhodami USB funkce plug-and-play a nebezpečím při připojování neznámých USB zařízení do našich počítačů.
Vestavěné zařízení pro potřeby registrace
Novotný, Vojtěch ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of an embedded device for registration purposes. The proposed system uses RFID cards as a method of entity identification. The device is implemented using ESP32 microcontroller. Configuration of the system and gene- ration of reports on the registrations performed is handled through a web interface provided by a webserver running on the device.
