Monitoring of raccoon dog aktivity in Opava
Staněk, Petr ; Kušta, Tomáš (advisor) ; Ježek, Miloš (referee)
This work deals with invasive predator racoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides). It is a comprehensive work consisting of general information about its history and later spread to the whole Word, etology and biology as information collected on the basis of thousands of images and hundreds of videos from scout camera located close to natural burrow at Opava in the hunting district hunting club in Hlavnice. The emphasis here is primarily on the course of the day and night activities throughout the year, food preferences, coexistence with other kinds of beasts and ways of dealing with stressful situations. During the observation we were found that his peak of activity was among the sunrise and the second one lately after sunset. Cohabitation with badger is also possible. As for food preferences we realized that racoon dog did not prioritize any kind of food and eat everything what we gave to him.
Microhabitat preference of male red deer in the Doupov Mts.
Hojer, Miloslav ; Ježek, Miloš (advisor) ; Mrkvičková Kořanová, Diana (referee)
This thesis deals with the matter of using research microhabitat preferences male red deer ( Cervus elaphus ) in Doupov mountains and compares its telemetry data with telemetric data male sika deer Japanese ( Cervus nippon nippon ) . Using GPS navigation has been searched for each of 267 points and examined for each of them measuring. The data were processed into electronic form and are evaluated by using charts and tables. From the data I figured what microhabitat environments in these two species of deer in the summer months most moving and what kind of habitat they prefer . Interesting is certainly the fact that even though their home ranges overlap do not have the same grazing habits.
RC car model speedmeter
Fadrný, Jaroslav ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of bachelor´s thesis is to design a device to measure speed, acceleration and overload for RC model car. The device measured data will be stored in memory and after driving data will be moved to a PC via USB cable.
Monitoring system for model airplane
Belloň, Michal ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Růžek, Václav (advisor)
This projekt is focused on wireless transfer of informations from air model to modeller during the flight. These informations will be displayed on LCD placed near controller of model. Project includes theoretical design of device, choosing suitable components, circuit diagram, PCB and photos of realized device.
Configurable Telemetric and Monitoring System
Voborník, Petr ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
A goal of this thesis is design and implementation of modular system for telemetry and security purposes. System consists of modules for processing incoming data, web administration and presenation interface and set of web services. For implementation is used C# language along with .NET Framework and ASP.NET.
Wireles Flying Object Telemetry
Bednář, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.
Telemetry for Dragon IV Formula
Bezdíček, Jan ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis was to design and construct complete telemetry system for the student formula Dragon IV constructed for international Formula Student competition. At first, the work deals with the measurement of the physical quantities, telemetry system and automotive sensors of the formula, their mutual communication and communication with the CAN bus. It also describes the procedure of hardware design including choosing right inertial sensors and a GPS module and their using in telemetry system. The work contains materials for production of two-layer printed circuit board extending the microcomputer BeagleBone Black on the inertial sensors and the GPS module. The bigger part of the telemetry system is the firmware for hardware and software for the computer user. Both written in programming language C++ and C# are included in this work as well. This user application serves for wireless receiving data from the hardware and their showing and logging. In addition this user application can be used for wireless hardware configuration. The final product is the complete telemetry system and it is suitable for selling to end customer.
Microelectronic Wireless Networks for Telemetry and Buildings Automation
Šulc, Vladimír ; Sýkora, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with a microelectronic wireless networks for telemetry and building automation in terms of energy consumption related to the communication in wireless networks. Assumption, mesh topology is optimal topology for wireless networks for telemetry and building automation, was proven and relation between energy consumption and devices management was shown and functional abstraction related to the energy consumption was described. Several advanced techniques and solutions on physical and network layers were proposed to increase network reliability and decrease power consumption. Proposed techniques can be easily implemented.
Technology of Receiving of Very Weak Signals from Interplanetary Spacecrafts
Špaček, Jiří ; Bezoušek, Pavel (referee) ; Kovář, Pavel (referee) ; Kasal, Miroslav (advisor)
The work deals with the problematics of receiving very weak radio signals and it is focused especially on systems for low rate telemetry with carrier-subcarrier modulation. The part of this work is dedicated to calculation the link budget of typicall telemetry data transmission system between the Mars and the Earth in respect of the receiving equipment, which could be developed in the Experimental sattelites laboratory on the Institute of radio electronics BUT. The main part of this work is dedicated to developing and testing the low rate telemetry data transmission system model. The model is developed for the purpose of study the effects of AWGN and phase noise on the whole system and also on its component parts. The model has been developed and described in the way of easy parameters modification. The design for each parameter of the model is described carefully. With the developed model, the study of the effects of AWGN and phase noise on the whole system and also on its component parts has been performed.
