Papež, Pavel ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: The significance of relation-ship between mesomorphy component and neuromotor development at football players population U12 selected from the highest czech league. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the link between the level of mesomorphy (one of the components of somatotype) and neuromotor age at the first league football players U12 from FK Dukla Praha and Bohemians 1905. Methods: The main research method was the method of observation. The research sample contained a total of 41 footballers. For determining the somatotype we used the methodology from Heath - Carter 1967. The degree of neuromotor development was assessed by Bruininks Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOT - 2). The estimation of the biological age was calculated from the proportional, growth and weight age and for the calculation of the decimal age we used the equation from Šelingerová (1992). In order to analyse the data we used the basic descriptive statistics, the two-sample T - test, the analysis of variance, the correlation and the linear regression. Results: The results revealed that there is no significant relationship r2 = 0,04 % between the level of mesomorphy (rated by Heath - Carter) and the performance in neuromotoric. Further, subsequent analysis of the separate muscle component in...

Title: The relationship between physcal fitness and body somatotype in soccer Author: Lucie Hrušková Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: To find relationship between physical fitness and body compositon in young soccer players in Povltavská football academy Methods: The main scientific method was observation. The research sample consisted of 25 young players (9.9 ± 0.4 years). Physical fitness wass measured by Unifittest 6-60 a body somatotype was measured according to Heath-Carter method. Correlation analysis was used for identifying of relationships between variables. Results: A significant correlation (r = -0.62; p˂0,001) we found endomorphic between the component and the assay score UNIFITTEST (6-60). This relationship indicates a higher level of physical fitness of players with lower levels of fat. Upon closer analysis of individual tests UNIFITTEST 6-60, we found a significant relationship only between the shuttle endomorph and endurance test. Furthermore it was found above the average test score Unifettestu (6-60) in 76% of the players. More than half the players (52%) are ektomorph - mezomorphs or mesomorphic - ektomorph, which is considered the best category somatotype for physical (sports) activities. Key words: somatotype, physical strenght, endomorph komponent,...

Zerzán, Miloš ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Gryc, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The relationship between motor performance and body composition in football Author: Miloš Zerzán Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To determine the current level of motor performance and somatotype among football players (9-10 years old). To determine the relationship between motor performance (evaluated by UNIFITTEST 6-60) and somatotype among football players at older mite team (9-10 years). Methods: Total sample was consisted of 25 players who underwent anthropometric measurements to determine the somatotype according to the method of Heath-Carter and UNIFITTEST 6-60 for the evaluation of basic motor performance. Results: It was found that 72 % of the tested players achieved above-average evaluation in UNIFITTEST 6-60. The tested football players had a lower portion of subcutaneous fat considering the physical constitution. In our study we did not find significant relationship between selected indicators of motor performance and physical somatotype. Although the level of motor performance was rather above-average and the value of subcutaneous fat was relatively low, our results suggest that these determinants of individual game performance are not closely related. Key words: motor skills, somatotype, UNIFITTEST 6-60, physical fitness, children, football

Title: Somatotype comparison of current UK FTVS students and UK FTVS students forty years ago. Objectives: Main aim of the theses is to compare the current level of student's somatic prerequisites to successful performance studies at UK FTVS in comparison with the somatic level of students studied forty years ago. Another aim of the theses is to illustrate method for measuring body fat by calliper. Subject and Methods: The total set consists of 901 somatotypes of students UK FTVS. Somatotypes were processed from protocols on the results of measurements, which contains the components values of somatotype and somatic parameters necessary for their determination. Processed values of somatotype were compared through statistical processes and through somatocharts. The illustration was created with a pencil simply in a lines with a minimal of shading. Results: Endomorphic components of somatotypes increased in a comparation with a set of students who studied fourty years ago. Higher values could have result in difficulties with fulfilment of practical credit requirements of endurance skills. Conversely mesomorphic components are lower against second set of students. It may result in difficulties with fulfilment of practical credit requirements of power skills. Keywords: somatotype, retrospective study,...

Title: Comparison of selected anthropometric parameters of competitive quadrathletes and racing kayakers. Objectives: The aim of this work is to assess the somatotype and anthropometric characteristics in elite athletes in marathon kayakers and quadrathletes. Methods: This research included the analysis and comparison of two groups of athletes. Using the Heath-Carter system of measurement, somatotypes were calculated using the computer formula, 'Somatotype - Calculation and Analysis'. Body composition was determined through the use of skinfold calipers SK in conjunction with noninvasive bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). Specifically, the Tanita 980 MS and BIA 2000 measurement units. Results: Two research samples were developed (speed kayakers as one, quadrathletes as the other), whose results (set average) were compared. On the basis of anthropometric data and calculations, it was found that both research samples corresponded in their somatotype category, ectomorphic mesomorph. According to this research, the speed kayakers (with a focus on marathon distances), are generally taller and heavier than the quadrathlete sample, yet had relatively less body fat. Keywords: Somatotype, body composition, BIA, skinfold, quadrathlon, flatwater kayaking
