Business tasks at universities

Thesis goes through the system and the economic aspects of mutual influences between universities and business environment to the usability of student knowledge in the real corporate environment. The most important part of the theory chapter is a description and evaluation of the various forms of cooperation between students, academics and business. Then there is a follow-up discussion about the role of web technologies in the process of cooperation of these entities. On this basis, the next chapter continues with the interpretation of calculations of economic data, outputs from own surveys and also the interpretation of the findings of several external analysis. The main objective of analytical chapter is to at least particularly reveal and evaluate market opportunities in the mediation of selected forms of cooperation. The final part of the work is a response to identified opportunities in form of the project concept.
The Role of Multimedia in Educational Support Systems

The aim of the diploma thesis "The Role of Multimedia in Educational Support Systems" is to analyze the current role of multimedia in information systems and to explore the existent use of multimedia in the educational process at VŠE. By doing so, the reader will be presented with a comprehensive roundup of the current technological tendencies concerning multimedia and their use in the educational environment. Among the topics analyzed within the scope of the technological foundations establishing chapters are the current role of multimedia, data types, transmission channels and the digitizing process. In the subsequent section, multimedia is being perceived as a concrete tool supporting the educational process. Based on the research conducted at VŠE that analyzed the technological, financial and personnel conditions, a concept of multimedia learning model was proposed in the eighth and final chapter. The current state analysis and the proposed multimedia education model at VŠE constitute the author's principal contribution to the educational field and at the same time a starting point for a future melioration of multimedia education deployment at VŠE.
European Union Community Programmes for Youth, Education and Culture

To be specific that means Youth in Action, Lifelong learning programme, Culture and MEDIA 2007. It deals with the actions of these programmes, with the conditions that the projects to be funded through the programmes have to fulfil, and with the recommendations for the applicants.

Use of e-learning technologies in schools with secondary level of education

This study is dedicated to the section of electronic education so-called e-learning and its specialization in schools with secondary level of education. The theory part of this study defines e-learning from different angles, describing the historical development of e-learning and also introducing suitable forms or resources of e-learning education for secondary schools. The practical part of study is summarizing the use of e-learning technologies in secondary level of education in the Czech Republic. Research was organized through the number of secondary schools in form of survey, results of which are graphically shown in the conclusion of the study.
Analysis of the system of corporate education

Bachelor thesis highlights the importance of education and describes its basic forms and methods. The goal of the practical part is to analyze the system of corporate education in the enterprise Chládek a Tintěra Havlíčkův Brod, a.s. and to find vulnerabilities in the system to propose better solutions. There are also described two sets of trainigs. Then they are compared from several points of view.
Education and Personal Progress of Employees

My thesis discusses how Plastik HT a. s., a plastics manufacturing company in the western part of the Czech Republic, attempts to educate and develop its employees. My thesis is aimed at assessing the education and development system in the company Plastik HT a. s. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part reviews theories of education and development methods and forms, new education trends (concretely E-learning), the impact of the recession on human resources and also needs identification of education and employees planning. This first part is also engaged in employee development and situation comparison in Czech employees' education versus other countries. The second part focuses on practical questions and describes the education and development of the company Plastik HT a. s. This part is especially engaged in the system of education and development in the company. We can read about basic company information such as history, products and corporate purpose. We can also read about the strategy in the human resources sphere and the organizational culture. This second part then discribes financial resources that the company invests in their employees and also in the project of getting grants from European funds for employees education. The second part of the thesis contains an analysis of the education and development of Plastik HT a. s. employees. In the conclusion, an evaluation of the situation in the company is presented including suggestions for improving finding weaknesses.

Educational programme for employees of AGROKOP CZ, a.s.

The aim of the work is to create an educational programme for employees of AGROKOP CZ, a.s. and to suggest one of ways of financing from public resources. That resource is European Union and its Structural Funds. In the first part I describe typical way of processing the educational programme in enterprises and short introduction to Structural Funds. In the second part there is a real application that is used to get to a selection procedure for dotation from EU. It is written in a way that is usual for applying in on-line application.
Analysis of EQUAL Community Initiative project realized within the South Bohemian region

The aim of this diploma thesis is to cover all phases of the development of social policy in the European Union from the very beginnings of it as one entity, and, furthermore, to concretize the importance of EQUAL Community Initiative as a tool for completing the European Employment Strategy and for fighting against all forms of discrimination and unequal conditions in the labour market. This initiative is one out of four which are funded by the European Union Structural Funds, namely the European Social Fund (ESF), in the programme period of 2000-2009. The analytical part of this thesis is aimed at the overall analysis of one of the EQUAL Community Initiative projects called "Business Without Obstructions" which is realized within the South Bohemian region. The goal of this three-year project is the support of those people from target groups who decide to solve their difficult life situation -- unemployment - with starting a business activity. The characteristic feature of this project is the establishment of the so called BENEFIT contact places which provide professional consultancy on business issues. These contact places were established in the Regional Offices of South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce.
