Venkov a kulturní dědictví na příkladě Zlínského kraje

This thesis aims to the material and ethereal culture in the Zlín region with the emphasis on the countryside. The culture includes wide variety of terms, which are subject to the theoretical part of this thesis. In the other parts is adduced common characteristic, cultural and historical context and future developments of Zlín region. The emphasis is placed on the definition of cultural phenomenon in theoretical and practical level. Furthermore, I dealt with financial capacity in cultural department. In the summary of this thesis I sum up the findings, which I find out during the field work.
Analysis of tourism in the town Telč

The bachelor's thesis deals with tourism in the town Telč. The main aim of this work is based on analysis and complex evaluation of development of tourist industry in the town Telč. Next the work deals with analysis of assumptions of development of tourist industry in town Telč, evaluation of existing development of tourist industry and last but not least define needs of enterpreneurs and users of tourist industry. Introductory chapters deals with general definition of tourist industry. The work deals with definition and description of the most important cultural sights or cultural and sporting events which is take place in Telč. Survey contained in the bachelor's thesis deals not only with defining of needs in area of tourist industry from the point of view of enterpreneurs who conduct their bussines in area of accomodation, eating and restaurant services but also from the point of view of tourists who decide to visit Telč.
Žižkov freight station

Diploma thesis is focused on Žižkov freight station and its transformation to cultural center. It introduces its characteristics, operation and construction. It further explores the process of becoming a cultural heritage site. It describes various obstacles including complicated relations and interests of owner of the site, developers, municipality, politicians and at last but not least non-profit organisations and citizens' initiatives. It is a study of an environment, which requires to be understood prior to any further project planning. The thesis also includes concrete vision of the cultural center, introduces involved subjects - future inhabitants of the freight station and depicts the property and financial situation of the complex. This part of the thesis also includes one concrete project, which is to be organized and run by the author herself. Further on the thesis includes examples of similar cultural centers, which are already in operation both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and which prove to have positive impact on the society, art community and economics of its surroundings. Future of Žižkov freight station is merely a fraction in the issue of conversion of industrial spaces in general. Nevertheless it remains an unique opportunity to build up an extraordinary project in one of the most impressive industrial environments of Prague.
Utilization of cultural heritage in tourism of Italy, in comparison with CR

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of utilization of cultural heritage in tourism of the Czech Republic and in Italy. The thesis describes heritage care system and culture funding in both countries, but it deals also with tourism management and promotion in both countries. The case of Italy is used as an example for comparison with the Czech system. The thesis is divided into four parts. First of them deals with theoretical definition and closer description of culture and tourism, as well as cultural tourism. Second part describes the situation in the Czech Republic. Third chapter is crucial because it describes Italian practice in heritage care, arts funding, tourism and its promotion and organization. This chapter includes also practical analysis of several Italian monuments and ways they are managed, ranking from the most important monuments to local ones, from technical heritage to church monuments. Fourth chapter compares the situation in both countries according to findings of previous chapters. At the end of the comparison there are several examples, positive but also negative, where Czech Republic can learn from Italian experience.
New trends in the utilization of cultural monuments on the example of Hrádek u Nechanic chateau

This Master thesis focuses on trends in utilization of castles and chateaus accessible to public within tourism and further applies the acquired knowledge to the Hrádek u Nechanic chateau. In order to reach the objective, a combination of primary and secondary research has been employed. The first part of the thesis (chapters 1--3) deals with general trends in tourism, cultural tourism, utilization of castles and chateaus in general and, in particular, it identifies the main qualitative and quantitative trends based on interviewing professionals in the field. The second part (chapters 3--6) pays attention to the Hrádek u Nechanic chateau, its marketing mix, an evaluation and comparison of surveys (which took place here in 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2011) and features recommendations for the further presentation and development of the chateau. Currently, it faces -- among other challenges -- a decrease in attendance, decrease in the growth dynamics of sales, increased competition of other attractiveness, questioning the traditional cultural-educative role of monuments or demands for applying customer oriented marketing. The answer to the development is innovation of the existing products and introduction of new ones, improvement of supplementary service and broader involvement in life of the region.
Funding of the rehabilitation and maintenance of historical monuments

This thesis analyzes the possibilities of financing the rehabilitation and maintenance of historical buildings in the Czech Republic with the practical application of the city Vimperk. The theoretical part discusses the importance of cultural heritage and the preservation of monuments, including its legislation and the manner of its organization. Various options for financing of survival sights both from domestic and foreign sources are discussed in detail. First the South Bohemian town Vimperk is introduced with monuments in its territorial jurisdiction in the practical part. Furthermore, this part approaches the system of the performance of local public administration and system for implementing conservation at the level of the city and South Region. A large space is devoted to the analysis and evaluation of sources of funding utilized conservation in this city, there are also recommended other appropriate support options. The subsidy programs of the South Bohemian Region, the Ministry of Culture, European and other foreign funds are mentioned. The amount of tables and graphs are added especially in this part for the better illustration. Information needed for the development of this work were obtained from the literature, Internet resources and personal consultations at the municipal office Vimperk and ROP Southwest.
Unaccesible and unused cultural monuments in regard to their future use and appreciation

This Bachelor's Thesis covers the issue of decaying monuments in the Czech Republic and describes its occasions and consequences. Thesis also refers to the restoration of monuments and its financing. The main aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is the issue of the utilization of the historical monuments, because only the meaningful utilization may assure them the long-term stability. At the end of the Thesis is a case study concerning the Brnky Castle in the Central Bohemia.
The utilization of the technical monuments in products of tourism in Český Krumlov region

The main objective of this bachelor work is to analyse condition of technical monuments and technical attractivites, which are situated in the region Českokrumlovsko. The subordinate objective of this bachelor work is composition of particular product. Designed product in form of trail that would visit technical monuments and technical attractivites will call attention not only for their use in tourism, but also for their continuation with other cultural monuments and natural interests in the region of Český Krumlov.This work describe notions relating to notion technical monument, dispense technical monuments according to many criteria, contain usual characteristics of the region Český Krumlov and deal with individual technical monuments.
