Knowledge management and its implementation in organization

Nowadays, when most of economic branches battle with the growth of information content, it is necessary not to leave out the benefits resulting from controlling and processing of the information. Analyses of success and failure of business refer more and more to incidence of the knowledge factor. Knowledge management tries to find a solution to share concrete knowledge among workers, generate of knowledge base, identify of best practices on the basis of this knowledge and so on. Typically turbulent economic environment forces many organization to continuous improving of the total run and acceleration of the economic development. High-quality and properly controlled knowledge in organization are necessary for their efficient functionality, turn into a meaningful competitive advantage today and they are often the effective instrument in competitive struggle. The main goal of this work is mapping of important information technologies that are conducive to knowledge management and its implementation. Besides specifying the basic terms knowledge and knowledge management, this work is focused on the way to implement the knowledge management , how to manage whole project and point out some very important steps of this process.

Information technologies enabling managerial time tracking and cost reduction

Time tracking means to record and analyze costs in relation with business output. Managerial time tracking can be characterized as a tool that links working-time recording with planning, approving, rating, billing, invoicing, etc. This thesis deals with theoretical consequences and facts of time tracking approaches, and with practical application of these approaches with the usage of IT time tracking tools. There are described various alternatives of time tracking systems and characterized automatization of business processes with the focus on time tracking business process.

Graduation theses attends to the problems of the floatation of an e-commerce. The forepart of the work creates theoretical solution, the individual chapters are attended to the introduction of the problems of an e-commerce, floatation and the development of an e-commerce, the advantages and the disadvantages of these activities, marketing and security. The practical part of this work attends to the analyse of electronic background and the aplication of theoretical solutions while the implementation of e-commerce. The part of the practical part is the personal research of public and the proposition of marketing, technical and technological processes. At the close is implemented the valuation of economical impacts on the business of a small firm.

IT firms in Czech republic and their conpetitive advantage in European Union

In this diploma thesis, I focus on Czech and European market of information technology. My principal aim is to analyze a measure of Czech competitive advantage in this sector. Both global statistic and segment characteristic are subjects of this analysis. My diploma thesis has following structure; after opening definition of literary sources, I deal with brief analyses of Czech IT market. Next two chapters are about European IT market structure and its characteristics. Last section is focused on competitive advantage of Czech Republic.

Marketing in relations of international business and information technologies

Informační technologie umožnily standardizovat značnou část marketingových informací pomocí digitalizace. Tím, že se tyto informace standardizují, usnadňuje se také standardizace práce s nimi v konkrétních částech hodnotového řetězce podniku. V práci je navrženo vymezení čtyř specifických oblastí využívání informačních technologií v marketingu: e-commerce, dodavatelské řetězce s informačními technologiemi, marketingové databáze a informační systémy v podniku, digitální televizní a rozhlasové vysílání. Hlavním cílem práce je ověřit hypotézu o této klasifikaci oblastí aplikování informačních technologií. Dalším cílem je analyzovat tyto oblasti z hlediska mezinárodního marketingu a charakterizovat, jak konkrétně informační technologie ovlivňují v těchto oblastech podnikání.

ŘÍZENÍ INFORMATIKY VE VALEO GROUP - ROZDĚLENÍ KOMPETENCÍ

Text se zabývá řízením informatiky v divizi společnosti Valeo. Hledá nedostatky, které se v poměrně sofistikovaném řízení vyskytují, když je informační systém podle vnitropodnikových principů nasazen do praxe. Využívá pohledu uživatele na IS/ICT a snaží se navrhnout činnosti, které by pomohly zohlednit požadavky uživatelů v divizi. Uživatelský pohled doposud nebyl v provozu informatiky akcentován.
