Provedení detailního fytopatologického průzkumu u senescentních dřevin v parku u zámku Buchlovice
Běhávka, Martin
The bachelor's thesis focuses on a detailed phytopathological examination of 70 selected senescent trees located in the park near Buchlovice chateau, which covers an area of 18.4 hectares. The aim of the survey was to describe the diseases and pests occurring on selected tree species and the way in which these tree species are affected. Furthermore, on the basis of this survey, I created a list of measures specifically related to the given tree species in order to ensure the longest and highest quality of plant life. According to the resulting data, it follows that the local woody plants suffer from diseases typical of the species and their age. For example, we can observe relatively gentle treatment in terms of damage to root canals and the overall zone at the base of the trunk.
Zhodnocení účinnosti stromové injektáže v managementu klíněnky jírovcové (Cameraria ohridella Deschka & Dimic, 1986) na území Školního lesního podniku Masarykův les Křtiny
Takáč, Aleš
The bachelor's thesis deals with the research of the effectiveness of tree injection against the phytophagous pest of the fir sprout (Cameraria ohridella Deschka & Dimic). Two sites were selected on the territory of the Křtiny State Forest Research Centre, with a total number of 79 trees of the species Aesculus hippocastanum (L.). The trees were evaluated according to the AOPK standards and then injected with the insecticidal products Vertimec and Tree-äge, which were expected to have a significant regulatory effect against this pest. Specifically, the application of Vertimec was carried out in different proportions. Assessment of the damage to the assimilatory apparatus was carried out by means of qualified estimation and image analysis. The processed results compared the used variations of the products and demonstrated the regulatory effect in the management of the sycamore sprout.

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT First name and surname: Nathalie Stehlíková Supervisor: Ing. Kristýna Plevová Title of the bachelor thesis: Prevention of damage of the posterior tigh muscles in active football players Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with prevention of damage of the posterior tigh muscles in active football players, also known as hamstrings. The aim of this thesis is to create a training unit to stretch and strengthen posterior thigh muscles. Furthermore, to create information brochure about before and after training preparations. This thesis is both theoretical and practical. Theoretical part deals with football, skeletal muscle anatomy and detailed anatomy of posterior thigh muscles, risk factors leading to injuries, injuries of posterior thigh muscles, it's treatment and therapy. A considerable portion of this thesis is focused on return to training process, prevention of the injury, regeneration and compensation exercises. Eight probands of AC Sparta Praha took part in the practical part. They were randomly divided into experimental group, which did the chosen exercises and control group, which only received information brochure but did not participate in the exercises. As a part of the entrance and exit testing, evaluation of shortened muscles, range of motion, modified muscle test and...
Variational Methods in Thermomechanics of Solids
Pelech, Petr ; Kružík, Martin (advisor) ; Dondl, Patrick (referee) ; Zeman, Jan (referee)
The thesis is devoted to study of continuum mechanics and thermodynamics and the related mathematical analysis. It consists of four self-contained chapters dealing with different aspects. The first chapter focuses on peridynamics, a non-local theory of continuum mechanics, and its relation to conventional local theory of Cauchy-Green elasticity. Similar compar- isons has been used for proving consistency and for determining some of the material coefficients in peridynamics, provided the material parameters in the local theory are known. In this chapter the formula for the non-local force-flux is computed in terms of the peridynamic interaction, relating the fundamental concepts of these two theories and establishing hence a new connection, not present in the previous works. The second and third chapters are both devoted to Rate-Independent Systems (RIS) and their applications to continuum mechanics. RIS represents a suitable approximation when the internal, viscous, and thermal effects can be neglected. RIS has been proven to be useful in modeling hysteresis, phase transitions in solids, elastoplasticity, damage, or fracture in both small and large strain regimes. In the second chapter the existence of solutions to an evolutionary rate-independ- ent model of Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs) is proven. The model...
Regulatory instruments of cycloturism in specially protected areas
Kostříková, Markéta ; Máca, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kotecký, Vojtěch (referee)
Cyclotourism is one of the most popular recreational activities nowadays, and specially protected areas are often chosen as a preferred destination. This thesis covers the issues that can arise from excessive tourist use of the area, or by not complying with the rules set by the law, or by an administration of the protected area. Cyclotourism has a considerate impact on the environment. The most affected components are vegetation, soil, aquatic ecosystems, and animals located near trails. Regulatory instruments of cyclotourism in specially protected areas are analysed and compared in this thesis. This analysis has covered four European countries, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Austria. The lowest level of restrictions was found to be present in the Czech Republic, the highest on the other hand in Austria. The degradation of the environment caused by cyclotourism is examined in the practical section of this thesis. On cycling routes in 9 specially protected areas, segments were randomly selected for sensitivity assessment... Indicators of sensitivity were: presence of a water body, forest, tourist attraction, elevation change level, and geological subsoil. Segments with increased sensitivity were visited and evaluated. Out of total of 73 segments with increased sensitivity, degradation...

Monitoring rozšíření nekrózy jasanů (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus) v lesních porostech Moravy a východních Čech
Prouza, Michal
Diploma thesis deals with ash dieback, caused by fungus pathogen Hymenoscyphus fraxineus. This is a summary of the available knowledge in literature concerning the problematic of the disease. Research activities were focused on monitoring of this patogen spread in the area of Moravia and eastern Bohemia, with emphasis on forest-typological diversity of habitats and the percentage of ash in the stands. 434 stands of ash were evaluated and the rate of health condition damage of trees with H. fraxineus presence depending on various factors was investigated. Dependence of damage of health status was not determinated as a function of LVS of Plíva (1987) (forest vegetation altitude stage), edaphic category or ecological range of Plíva (1987) as well as age stage of ash, stocking, other tree species composition, location and year of evaluation. Vice versa factors of damage on nature of ashes sites (SLT according Plíva 1987), mixing type and forest regeneration type were significant.
Změny biologie klíněnky jírovcové (Cameraria ohridella) po 20 letech invaze
Ďatková, Henrieta
The horse-chestnut leafminer Cameraria ohridella Deschka & Dimić, 1986 (Lepidopterans: Gracillariidae) is nonindigenous species in the Czech and Slovak Republic. Its caterpillars mine in leaves of horse chestnut trees Aesculus hippocastanum, which is grown as an ornamental plant, and cause drying off and premature leaf abscission. The goal of the bachelor thesis was to determine flight activity of horse chestnut leafminer, to set the extend of its parasitation and define the damage intensity of horse chestnut trees. Observation took place in 2016 in three study areas in Czech and Slovak Republic: in arboretum of Mendel University in Brno, on the grounds of Jan Amos Komenský dormitory and in the town of Čadca. To determine the flight activity pheromone trap was used, the parasitation was measured by trapping parasitoids (Ichneumonoidea, Chalcidoidea) hatching from pupae overwintering in abscised leaves. The intensity of horse chestnut damage was determined from 15 June to 17 June according to the number of mines on six of the trees, 60 leaves from each tree. The first imago was observed on 25 April and the last adults 3 October. Greatest abundance was discovered in the third generation by the beginning of September (9 Sept.). All of the evaluated leaves were infested. There were 1.8-15.3 mines on each leaf in average. The highest damage intensity of horse chestnut trees leaves was on the premises of Jan Amos Komenský dormitory in Brno, 88.34 % of leaves were strongly damaged. 8.25% parasitization was discovered in pupae of overwintering generation.
