Church Free Time Activity as a Missionary Method
Máchová, Ema ; Vogel, Jiří (advisor) ; Kolář, Pavel (referee)
Church Free Time Activity as a Missionary Method Ema Máchová Diploma thesis are trying to find out a church free time activity overlap into missionary effort and it's form. The common grounds are based within the catholic church mission, history of education and modern approaches of free time pedagogy. Author search whether is possible to get over childern and young people for christian way of living throughout the free time activities. Salesians and The Seventh-day Adventists missionary effort range is appraised by interviews with particular church representatives and consecutive reflection. It's coming out from this groundwork, that this is not relevant within church free time activies in terms of mission persiding into baptism. Nevertheless such a church free time doing could have a missionary overleap through a leader of this free time activity. A missioner- pedagogue must be aware of his duty responsibility and not only during his role as a missioner-pedagogue, but in his whole life. Then we can speak about a mission arising from testimony of our own lifes.

Nováková, Zuzana ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Suchel, Jakub (referee)
Master's thesis entitled "Mission in the Life of Organization" explores the phenomenon of mission. The work is closely focused on the area related to non-profit organizations that provide social services for the target group of seniors. In the theoretical part is mission defined by recognized standards of quality of social services and from the perspective of literature. Furthermore I view it in the context of the needs and size of the target group and social demand backing group organization. Subsequent chapters are devoted to the topic of mission in context of strategic planning, fundraising, public relations and ultimately organization culture. In the empirical part I present the implementation of qualitative research. The research was conducted using a case study approach in two registered organizations providing social services to seniors. The aim was to answer the research question: How do perceive the mission of organization its employees? Research was conducted through semi- structured interviews methods. The result is the following statement, which is valid for both cases: All employees are able to interpret the mission of their organization through their own values and experiences. Whether the employee's mission is shared or not shared, or employees consider it to be part of a formal, is...
Collaboration and competition among nonprofit organizations working with migrants in Prague.
Pračke, Šimon ; Navrátil, Jiří (advisor) ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (referee)
This thesis is focused on the relations of competition and cooperation between non-governmental non-profit organizations working with migrants in Prague. Based on interviews with representatives of these organizations and the study of documents, this thesis shows that classical theoretical approaches that deal with interorganizational relationships generally, i.e. those of profitable organizations in the market environment, ignore the specificity of non-profit organizations. Unlike profitable organizations, non-profit organizations primarily do not aim at profit but rather at the mission they were founded for. Classical theories do not reflect this dimension at all. The non-profit organizations working with migrants in Prague not only cooperate but this cooperation is motivated especially by their mission, although they are situated in a highly competitive position because they are situated in the same area, work with the same clients, offer similar services to these clients and are financed from the same sources. Keywords Collaboration, cooperation, competition, co-opetition, inter-organizational relationships, non-governmental non-profit organization, mission, identity
