Production technology of plastic carrier information
Krejčí, Radek ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This bachelor's diploma thesis presents a proposal for the production technology of plastic carrier information, which is produced using injection molding technology. In the general literary study, plastic materials and injection molding technologies are analyzed. In the practical part of the thesis, the material of the plastic carrier information is selected. From the calculated technological parameters, the design of the injection mold is created and a suitable injection-molding machine is selected. Finally, a technical-economic evaluation is carried out, in which the cost of producing one piece of plastic carrier information is calculated.
Elimination of internal stress in the polycarbonate moldings
Selucký, Jaroslav ; Hrbáček, Jan (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
This diploma theses raises the issue of internal tension in two-component outer lense, which are made by injection of polycarbonate. The theses gives a more detail view on treatment of the lenses in heating ovens. Heating ovens have been used for decreasing the internal tension in lenses. The subject of the experiment is to determine the influences of the adjustable parameters of the heating oven. The Experiment will be taken by DoE method. The influence of the adjustable parameters is researched and compared among the two types of outer lense with different type of design.
Design of manufacturing technology for plastic cover electrical device
Kočárek, Karel ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This thesis contains of theoretical part which deals with injection molding, properties of some polymer materials are included also. Design of plastic injection mold for cover of electronic device is presented in practical part. Manufacturing parameters and injection machine selection are specified with mold structure consideration. Production costs and the final price of the plastic part are calculated in economical evaluation.
Modern trends of using ceramic cores for aerospace and IGT sector
Urbanovský, Jan ; Láník, Boris (referee) ; Tomek, Ladislav (advisor)
The work deals with ceramic cores production proces for investment casting. Those cores are using in aerospace and IGT sectors not just in gas turbine blades production. Their specific application is in forming cooling cavities important for safe and reliable turbine. The work is going through the all steps in production, from choosing the correct material, to removing core from cavities.
Design and assessment of a new paint line arrangement at Automotive Lighting
Bouček, Filip ; Hrbáček, Jan (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and arrangement of a new paint line at company Automotive Ligting s.r.o in Jihlava. It deals with design of several possible options of arrangement of machines that are required for the processing of polycarbonate granules and their conversion into acrylic glass using two-component injection molding. The glass is then coated with the coating line which is part of the arrangement included in this project. Design of the individual sites and their organization is based on both the company's requirements and the principles of technological design. The best of the three options is analyzed in detail and evaluated from the economic point of view.
Design of manufacturing technology for elastomer bushings conditioning
Švarc, Lukáš ; Dubovský, Marek (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with designing technology of manufacturing for component made of elastomer. The theoretical part is about dividing polymer materials and the issues of elastomer processing by injection molding. In the practical part is dealt with production conditions, design specifications of the tool and comparison with initial proposal. Next part is about technological and design calculations and the thesis ends with design of technological process.
Design of production technology of the Cover
Jelínek, Jakub ; Ohnišťová, Petra (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production technology of the cap, the volume of which is 700 pieces, for use in low-voltage and high-voltage equipment, including switchboards, for the production of semi-crystalline plastic polyamide 6. The component will be injection moulded into a single layer mould, which will be composed of purchased normals from Meusburger. A KraussMaffei 110-380CX machine will be used for production, which will exert a clamping force of up to 1100kN. The economic evaluation showed that for the specified production run of 700 units, the cost of the part is 479,85 CZK, the price of one piece without the initial investment in the mould and without any depreciation is over 11 CZK.
Production of the Cartridge for stepper motor
Míka, Jiří ; Ohnišťová, Petra (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The work deals with the production of the cartridge for stepper motor from the newly selected material polyamide PA66GF which contains 30% fiberglass. The change requires the choice of a new production technology, which is injection molding. For technological reasons, it was necessary to modify the 3D model of the part according to the chosen production method. After calculating the important technological parameters, the plastic injection mold was constructed. It is made as a quadruple with a hot runner system and a cold sub-distribution, the plastic injection mold also contains sliders for side actions. The Allrounder 420 C GOLDEN EDITION hydraulic injection molding machine with a clamping force of 1000 kN was chosen for the mold. At the end, a technical-economic evaluation and comparison of the costs for the production of one part is carried out. The necessary drawing documentation was also made for the work.
Technology of injection molding of thermoplastic test specimens
Khamzin, Yersin ; Petruš, Josef (referee) ; Kučera, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the optimization of technological parameters of plastic injection molding and the study of the influence of technological parameters on the quality of molded test specimens’ type 1A. The quality of molded parts for 3 types of polypropylene (PP) with different melt flow rate (Mosten GB 002, Mosten GB 218, Mosten MA 230) and 1 type of polystyrene (PS) (Krasten PS GP 154) was evaluated in terms of dimensional stability and weight. The contribution of software for modeling the plastic injection molding process was evaluated in this work. SOLIDWORKS Plastics software was used to optimize technological parameters. The construction of the bodies, mold and cooling system was constructed, and test bodies were produced on the basis of parameters obtained from the simulation of the injection molding process. Their quality parameters were compared with a 3D model and for each of the studied materials the optimal technological parameters were selected in terms of quality and the degree of influence of individual injection parameters on the quality of moldings was evaluated. The accordance of the results of the theoretical simulation with the real experiment was proved and a computational module independent of the optimized quality parameters, generally suitable for optimizing the quality parameters of the injected parts, was developed.
Quality control of injection molded plastics using X-ray computer tomography
Figar, Erik ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This Master‘s thesis deals with an aplication of computed tomography as the technology for quality control check of the plastic parts made by the injection molding process. The analyses were performed on two different types of plastic parts. These parts were delivered by two companies and they included the drawing documentation and CAD models. These plastic parts were analyzed according to their qualitative requirements. The analyses included evaluation of the geometric tolerances and porosity analysis with numerical and graphical evaluation. The new module for tool correction ,which is part of VGStudio Max, was tested on parts that were not in accordance with the required tolerances. Afterwards the new corrected geometries were exported. At the end of this Master’s thesis the porosity comparison was assessed between two different voxel resolution CT data. This comparison shows the complexity of this phenomenon and the importance of voxel resolution settings.
