Diagnostics of new occupational diseases -prevention of new work-related disorders
Laštovková, Andrea ; Pelclová, Daniela (advisor) ; Petrovová, Markéta (referee) ; Seifert, Bohumil (referee)
6 ABSTRACT Background The existence of risks of new work-related disorders and occupational diseases in the society is constantly increasing in relation to the fast and continuous development of working conditions, techniques used, materials and overall acceleration of the working pace. Aim of the study The aim of the study is to analyse new risks in the working environment and to evaluate early diagnostic possibilities of new occupational diseases including their prevention. The study also compares the current situation in this field in the Czech Republic and other European countries. Materials and methods The doctoral dissertation is a multiple manuscript thesis focusing on one common topic - new occupational diseases. The first publication studied the acknowledgement of low-back pain disease caused by overload as an occupational disease. Specialists from European countries were inquired via questionnaire focusing on diagnostic and evaluation criteria of this disease in their countries. Representatives from countries acknowledging low-back pain diseases caused by overload provided further evaluation criteria and number of cases. Correspondingly, the second publication studied the evaluation of burnout syndrome as an occupational disease. Representatives from countries acknowledging the burnout syndrome as...
Localization of reinforcement in elements of reinforced concrete structure
Fusek, Aleš ; Anton, Ondřej (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the search for non-destructive methods of reinforcement in concrete structures using electromagnetic indicators. The theoretical part describes the methods of diagnosis reinforcement capabilities and limitations of the methods of electromagnetic indicators and comparisons with other methods. Furthermore, a overview of the reinforcement used in the 60s of the last century. The practical part describes the measurement on reinforced concrete construction hall and compares it with the measurement obtained on the models in the laboratory at the focus of the sensitivity of measurements and data processing.
Evaluation of stone column defects using an ultrasonic method
Kršková, Šárka ; Kocáb, Dalibor (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of structure defects in stone column using ultrasonic method. Content of this thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part. Aim of theoretical part is to explain process of evaluation of existing stone structures according to norm ČSN ISO 13822. This part also contains listings of method for stone testing and brief explanation of chosen types of rock used for stone structures. Practical part contains tests used on columns using ultrasonic method and laboratory tests of chosen samples. Evaluation of measuring using ultrasonic method is based on knowledge of this method and visual inspection of columns. In laboratory tests were compared results of chosen properties on examples of same type of rock. These examples had different shape, moisture and measurement.
Survey and Diagnostics of Building Construction
Černý, Jan ; Komárková, Tereza (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of diagnostic exploration of the railway vault bridge on the track section 2201 Nezamyslice - Olomouc hl. n., a registration kilometer of 69,982, also known as the "Vysoká pivínská klenba". In the theoretical part is described the problems and the systematicity of diagnostic methods for masonry structures. The practical part focuses on the processing and evaluation of the diagnostic survey, which results in determining the material properties of the structural elements.
Preliminary survey and assessment the building before renovation
Bartoň, Vojtěch ; Stehlík, Michal (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the construction and technical survey of a masonry building with cast iron columns. Construction-technical survey was carried out, due to the planned conversion of the building into a apartment building with public services. The thesis contains description of construction and technological survey and diagnostic methods, which includes evaluation of essential characteristics of masonry structures and cast iron columns. The practical part contains processing of diagnostic survey. Its result is determination of material and geometric characteristics of the structure.
Survey and Diagnostics of Building Construction
Bernard, Lukáš ; Heřmánková, Věra (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with a diagnostic survey of a reinforced concrete frame. The first part of the thesis focuses on the properties of the reinforced concrete as well as on the detection of the reinforced concrete’s properties using selected non-destructive methods, semi-destructive methods and destructive methods. The second part of the thesis, which is closely related to the first part, focuses on detection of piles’ and beams’ reinforcement using an electromagnetic indicator Profometer PM-630, Ground-penetrating radar Hilti PS 1000 and chopped probes. It also focuses on determining the compressive strength of the concrete using the ultrasonic impulse method of the Pundit PL-200 machine. The results are further specified by the cores description.
Epoxy Resin with Aaluminium Oxide Nanofiller and its Dielectric Properties
Lontrasová, Aneta
Topic of this paper is dielectric properties of epoxy resins, containing nanoparticles of Al2O3. Dielectric spectroscopy was used during epoxy nanocomposite diagnostics. These new materials are candidates for use in manufacturing modern insulators, where it can aid in reducing their dimensions. This research also focuses on studying dielectric properties of Al2O3 nanofiller over long periods. Large number of nanoparticles and area between them in epoxy matrix means higher number of weak spots, which may be the source of defects and may lead to increased deterioration of nanocomposites compared to composites without nanoparticles.
Diagnostika fotovoltaických elektráren
BUČEK, Tomáš
The main aim of this thesis is define parameters of photovoltaic power station that have affected electrical efficiency. Next task is concluded witch of parameters will affect deterioration of photovoltaic power stations. These parameters will be related with properties of photovoltaic cells and electrics circuits including features of inverters. Try to establish the conditions and the efficiency of photovoltaic power station that are under service diagnostics.
Antibody derivatives for the detection of human glutamatecarboxypeptidase II
Bělousová, Nikola ; Bařinka, Cyril (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Jiří (referee)
Prostate cancer is one of the most common human malignancies and, consequently it is critical to develop appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Glutamate carboxypeptidase II (GCPII) is currently being considered one of the most important prostate cancer markers due to its tissue- specific expression. Whereas in healthy prostatic tissue the expression levels of GCPII are low, the transformation into the tumor is associated with the substantial increase of GCPII expression, with the highest levels observed in androgen-independent metastatic tumors. GCPII is thus considered a promising marker for early phase as well as advanced metastatic stages of prostate cancer. Current research is focused on the development of highly sensitive and specific reagents that allow detection of small amounts of GCPII, for example in early stages of cancer. Antibody derivatives are promising molecules for this purpose because they have high affinity and specificity and minimum negative side effects. Protein engineering is a prefered approach for preparation of various antibody molecules that differ in size, binding properties, stability, solubility, and production means. Different types of derivatives are being developed for medical needs such as in vitro diagnosis, therapy, and in vivo imagingSmall molecular...
