Usage og logical matrixes for detection of causes of defect and failures of external contact thermal insulation systems
Zvěřina, Aleš
Defects and failures of ETICS can occure due to many causes. Determination of primary cause of defects or failures can be very difficult, mainly if the building is complicated. There can be many interactions between participants of building proces (architect, builder, investor, technical supervisor of investor), used materials, parts of documentation, climatic conditions and the like. The usage of elements of systemic entry of forensic engineering, specifically logical matrixes, for example matrix of hypothesis or matrix of signs can be very advantageous. The goal of the article is to show a usage of logical matrixes on real application of ETICS crash. The primary cause determination will be find from testing results. The part of article discuss possible computer processing of logical matrixes.
The influence of the outdoor temperature on the properties of the reinforced layer in the implementation of ETICS
Novotný, Michal ; Gašparik,, Jozef (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Sedlák,, Petr (referee) ; Lízal, Petr (advisor)
The trend in today's civil engineering are growing demands for quality and comfort constructed buildings and spaces in them. This trend causes a change in the approach to designing buildings and building new buildings. One of the main directions great importance is attached dedicated reconstruction of buildings and their technical adjustments to meet the ever increasing demands being norms and laws. One of the most monitored parameters are thermal-technical characteristics of objects - i.e. better quality means saving on heating costs. In this connection there is a big trend of the modern construction industry and building insulation, mainly ETICS systems. Dissertation focuses on the basic (reinforced) layer of the ETICS and examines the effect of low temperatures, acting on the matter in the implementation of the system, the properties of this layer. This coating is one of the key elements of the system, which more or less determines the quality and durability of the system. The first part deals with the current state of the problem and generally insulation systems, basic types and the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. In the main part of the work is solution focused work, its objectives and methodology for testing materials using laboratory tests and are mentioned outputs of experiments in terms of results. The final section addresses the evaluation of the data and results and output for construction practice. The theme of work was also addressed in the specific research. The works are also numerical and graphical attachments to records of experiments and calculations.
DURABILITY AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL THERMAL INSULATION COMPOSITE SYSTEMS
Remeš, Hynek ; Fridrichová, Marcela (referee) ; Kolář,, Karel (referee) ; Steuer, Radek (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
External thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) is a widespread method appearance of the facades of existing and new civil and industrial buildings. With its frequent application becomes engaged his durability issues and possible rehabilitation and more topical. Influences affecting durability ETICS is still under investigation, as well as systematic and practical way to usable redevelopment. The main theme of this work is to summarize knowledge in ETICS issue, particularly from the viewpoint adhesive and leveling materials based on Portland cement and final finishes. The theoretical part is discussed ETICS composition, the composition of its components, technical requirements and factors affecting durability. The experimental part focuses on the redevelopment of ETICS and verification using colloidal silica for modification of construction materials, which are part of the ETICS.
Possibilities of nondestructive diagnostics of ETICS
Zvěřina, Aleš
Article deals with possibilities of nondestructive diagnostics of exthernal thermal inulation systems (ETICS) and compares possibilities of 3 used and researched methods. Infrared thermography, which is one of most used method, impedance defectoscopy, a method, which has been used for investigating of flat roof for 3 years and radar diagnostics, using for reverse reconstruction of anchor plans of ETICS. A special focus is dedicate to impedance defectoscopy, becouse the results of this method is possible to display clearly as results on thermograms from infrared thermography.

Kindergarten Adaptation to Contemporary Living
Peciarová, Gabriela ; Juračková, Edita (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
This theses is regarding a proposal of adaptation and extension of an object of an infant school in Pravenec. The object was built in 1963 and it was originally built to serve as a local infant school and creche. It served its original purpose until year 2000 and afterwards was used as a workshop of a textile factory. Since 2010 this object has not been utilised. Adaptation of object includes the alternation of its purpose. Object will be partially re-built and modified in order to be able to serve as a domestic building. There should be three separate housing units created, each with its own entrance. On first level there will be two individual accommodation units. On second level there will be a single apartment designed with an entrance through staircase. Adaptation also includes an overall isolation of the building, exchange of aperture blockage and a new flat roof as current condition of the object does not meet the quality standards.
