My final thesis "Financial project of a new company" includes all the processes necessary for starting a new business. In the theoretical part, I explain the methods used in my project. In the practical part, I applied theory on the example of a specific company. The practical part also includes a complete plan of preparations for running the business, a financial plan and a prediction for 5 years of the business.

My bachelor thesis on the topic Business plan of a new subject in the media market, represents a complete Business plan of Liquid magazine, which is elaborated to be processed to the final investor. Theoreticaly-methodological part offers a characteristic of SME, definition of media and their divisions and at last the instruction for proper elaboration of business plan. In the practical part the specific business plan is prepared on the basis of instructions from theoreticaly-methodological part.

How to set up business (analysis of business plan)

This paper is focused on a rookie entrepreneur who is starting a middle size business in the express package delivery business. The theoretical asks questions that a young businessman should give some thought. In particular it is a guideline how to assemble a successful business plan that attracts the creditors and other interested parties. It tells him how present his ideas in the right way and what should be avoided in the starting faze of a business. In the practical part the author tests working hypothesis, puts together the founding budget, expected profit and loss statement in the first year of the business and also the expected value of cash flow. The main hypothesis is the viability of the undertaking in market conditions. This hypothesis is being reinforced by the calculations in the estimated financial plan as well as the marketing research that concludes that for this kind of business there is still enough space left. But it has to be a cheap and quality business. The values of the return on assets and return on equity are examined in the reference to the risk-free interest rate and thanks to that we can identify how big the risk-bonus is for the investor. In conclusion of the paper gives the author a solution how to even improve the ROA and ROE, the net profit and cash flow. Thanks to that the risk-bonus of the undertaking is even higher.

Financial aspects of company's estabilishment

This bachelor thesis defines in the first chapter of the theoretical part some important terms connected to this topic. The second chapter of the theoretical part considers taxation of wages and earning of entrepreneur. In the third chapter are mentioned legislative forms of entrepreneurial activity especially their dependence on the amount of share capital and personal liability. Influence of accounting legislation and some accounting principles are object of chapter forth. The last three chapters of the theoretical part are attended to the following documents: business plan, business budget and financial plan. At the beginning of the operative part, the fictive company called APC účetnictví, audit s.r.o. is introduced by means of business plan. Business budget and financial plan are presented in the second chapter. These documents respect requirements for distinction of VAT and non VAT-payer and also various options of capital financing. In the last chapter of the operative part I evaluate expedience of business activity with respect to various options of capital financing and enterprise as VAT or non VAT-payer.
