Riverside house

The urban design creates a pleasant part of the city near the river in connection with the city center and offers various functions in the location with the river which is now isolated from the city life. The basic idea of the apartment building is opening the facade facing the south, offering various apartment floor plans and putting an accent on connection between the river and housing using the system of terraces.
Riverside house

The task of the bachelor thesis was to design and urbanize the area around the Svitava river, in the wider center of Brno. Directly on the riverside is designed a row of residential buildings with promenade and cycling path. The concept of the apartment building is based directly on the location. The basic idea was to create illuminated apartments connected to both facades and illuminate the inside of the disposition using lightwells with green walls.
Newly-Built Family Winery

The topic of this diploma thesis is the planning and realisation of a project documentation for a new building of a family viticulture (to be built between existing terraced houses). The building consists of several types of spaces according to the functional use. It connects the living function (an apartment on the second floor and a small guesthouse for degustation purposes), rooms for the store and services (the wine shop, degustation) and the room for stocking (wine storage - barrels/baskets). The building has three floors, the basement is entirely embedded into the terrain. The building will be located approximately 500 metres SW from the city centre of Lednice (584631), within the district of Břeclav in the South-Moravian region, on the lots 756/1, 756/2 and 755.
Energy saving house Brno - Chrlice

The subject of this bachelor these is design of detached house for 4 persons in gap site terraced houses. The house is located in city district Brno – Chrlice. The have ground floor and one above-ground floor. As construction of vertical load-bearing structure are used clay blocks Porotherm insulated with extruded polystyrene on the exterior side of walls. The structure is based on strip foundations. Roof is designed double-skinned on the truss girders.
Social housing, Brno

The project of social housing in Brno – city part of Malomerice, is especially aimed at Roma community as well as other families with more members. Designed objects are situated along the borders of site to create semiprivate space for playing and community action in proposed community centre. Houses are designed to accomplish owner´s demands as it creates the diversity of terraced houses. The base of every design is unit (distinguished by gable roof) with entry space, staircase, technical and hygienic core. According to wishes, there were created number and location of rooms (with mono-pitched roof). Therefore in detailed house, there are rooms for up to 10 people with open kitchen and living room. Within the incorporation of minority community to society and improvement of their starting position in labour market it is taking into account with construction of dwellings by their owners with supervision under experienced craftsmen. Due to their simplicity and availability as main material for construction were chosen aerated concrete blocks YTONG. Façade is mostly made of basic white plaster with ability of choosing the colour in part with gabled roof.
Reconstruction of the Municipal Authority in Radnice

This diploma thesis deals with the project documentation of the reconstruction of a mixed-use building in Radnice, which is designed as a four-floor. In the first floor are premises of a post office a pharmacy. The second and the third floor is designed for the management of the city and there is a public library in the fourth floor. The structural system is a cast-in-place concrete frame with the precast floor slabs and the gabled roof. The building is located in a terraced house on a square.
Terraced houses with inner courtyard

The subject of this thesis is the documentation of terraced houses with inner courtyard intended for housing. The object is located on the outskirts of Veverská Bítýška in the area of detached houses and apartment block. The building will be used for 32 households with the total capacity 128 people. The part of thesis was designing underground garage with capacity of 25 cars and 42 bicycles. The area of detached house is situated on a flat terrain. Houses A have two floors without the basement with garage in front of house. Every house has individual main entrance. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the Heluz system with thermal insulation of the facade. Houses have a single-layer flat roof. Part B has two floors with basement where is situated garage. Entrance to this garage is from public garage. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the Heluz system with thermal insulation of the facade. Underground walls are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Houses have a single-layer flat roof. Public underground garage is separated from the another buildings. Main entrance to the garage is from the ramp. The building is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete with external wall insulation system. The building has a vegetative roof which forms part of the courtyard.
Romany Housing

The project of Romany Housing is located in Brno, the urban district Maloměřice. Architecturally, it is designed as a low-rise row housing, taking into consideration the special requirements of the Romani community, such as living in larger families. Functionally, the structure is designed as a socialized housing with certain level of government support. The housing development is variable. The basis of the project are two types of houses, which alternate in the row-house structure. Moreover, each one of these types also offers different solutions altering the capacity. The houses are designed to be easily extended, even while being used. The construction is wooden, using environmentally-friendly material for cladding – ecopanels. The rows of houses follow the perimeter of the parallelogram of the site and create a peaceful relaxation area in the middle, suitable for free time activities. From the architectural point of view, the new housing development fits into the current image of the location in this quiet part of Brno, which is dominated by small houses with gabled roofs. The new buildings are characterized by asymmetrical gable and windows playfully placed in an asymmetrical pattern. Another distinctive element is the facade, which combines trapezoidal metal sheet and wooden cladding.
Family house Bratčice

The aim of the project is a new building of a family house in the cadastral area Bratčice, South Moravian Region. The house is in the row of existing development. It is designed for a family of four. The building has no basement and two floors. On the first floor there is an entrance, garage and main day area. On the second floor there is a bedrooms, work room and utility room. The building is designed mainly in wall system of Porotherm. There is a shed roof with a dormer and flat roof. The facade is designed as an external thermal insulation composite system or as a ventilated facade.
Family residence with a branch of an insurance company

The Bachelor’s thesis called "Family residence with a branch of an insurance company" built-up addresses a vacant site in Brno – Horní Heršpice. This is a vacant site in terraced houses on the Sokolova street. New family house is designed as two storey house with flat roof and without cellar. The basement wall system is woodchip-concrete blocks called Izoblok. Ceilings are designed as monolithic. The house is based on strip foundation. The building is located at the street line, its height does not exceed 8 m and built-up area is 261 m. There will be a branch of insurance company towards the street, entry to the residence and double garage. The ground floor is designed as barrier-free apartment facing the garden, adapted for the disabled person. Another spacious apartment is situated on the second floor.
