Application for Microsoft HoloLens with Use of Mobile Phone
Stano, Matej ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on usage of Microsoft HoloLens head-mounted display for augmented reality and its connection and communication with mobile phone in order to control the hologram. Phone, which uses its motion and position sensors, such as accelerometer or gyroscope, to produce necessary data, represents a wireless controller. Based on this information hologram created by HoloLens is moved or rotated. Communication between devices is maintained through an internet connection. Two separate applications were implemented, each for one of the devices. Mobile app that sends data from sensors to the headset. HoloLens app that processes received data and controls holograms. The result is simple augmented reality game.
Portal Game for Microsoft HoloLens
Bandik, Matej ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Goal of this work is to create an adaptation of computer game Portal for device Microsoft HoloLens. Required application should be able to demonstrate concept of the game in real environment. Next important requirement was to move interface of whole application to real space. The result is native application for Universal Windows Platform, which converts game mechanics and models of game Portal from computer 2D space to real 3D space. In the main part, user is set to the role of an player of logical puzzles, in which he is using gestures for manipulating with holograms or activation of several mechanics. Second part opens possibility to recreate real space by inserting virtual objects. By their logical layout, user can create different solvable puzzles directly in space, in which he is located. Created application effectively uses augmented reality and possibilities of Microsoft HoloLens device for presentation of main concept of game Portal.
Model visualization in virtual reality
Cmajdálka, Ondřej ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with phenomenon called virtual reality, its historical development and nowadays used technologies. The next part is dedicated to game engines, their history and structure. In practical part a proposal and development of virtual reality environment is described. The proposed environment demonstrates selected features of the game engine that make it a suitable tool for developing virtual reality environments.
Adaptive real-time reverb as a plugin for Unity game engine
Konečný, Dominik ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Kiska, Tomáš (advisor)
This work is about reverberators as system for simulating space properties of sound and their implementation in game development software Unity. The goal of this thesis is to create a working plug-in module for this development software, which is capable of working in real time and also can change it's parameteres in real time.
System for 3D data visualisation in virtual reality
Kalafut, Oliver ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Kolařík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the imaging of medical models, for example human body organs, in virtual reality via Oculus Go. Oculus Go is an all-in-one device with a powerful processor and high-resolution display that is ideal for this bachelor thesis. The main goal is the conversion of 2D and 3D medical data formats, including formats such as DICOM and NIfTI, into 3D formats usable for virtual reality and then create the application. The first part of this work is devoted to the theoretical introduction and introduces the issues of virtual reality and 3D modelling to the reader. Then in the practical part, there was implemented a standalone (offline) application for display and interaction of used medical models with users in the virtual reality environment. In total, eight models of different parts of the human body were processed and converted to a uniform 3D Object (.obj) format. Subsequently, they were imported into program Unity, in which I created the entire application environment called Model Preview VR. The application enables viewing, zooming, rotating, and cross-section features of individual objects and is suitable for the presentation of simple models. This application can be helpful for development of not only medical imaging, but also for getting quality photos for publishing.
Applications of mixed reality for industry 4.0 and robotics
Jedovnický, Michal ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
Focus of this thesis is research contemporary development of use of mixed reality in engineering a robotics and their possible development for the futire. Also to practicaly get to know Acer Mixed Reality Headset a creation of virtual scene.
Adaptive Level of Detail for Planet Rendering
Moravec, Matěj ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Matýšek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on real time planet rendering with adaptive level of terain detail in Unity engine. Chunked LOD algorithm is modified and used for adaptive change of level of detail. Intancing is used for efective data rendering. Graphic card is used for creating planet geometry with heightmaps and there is also tessellation used for gradual morfing of level change of detail.
Futuristic Cockpit for Urban Mobility
3D Game in Unity with Music Analysis
Petrjanoš, Jakub ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is about music analysis and it's usage in game development in game engine Unity. With help of music analysis there is implemented path finding in procedural generated terrain. In development were used experimental methods and result is game, which generates path based on chosen song through procedural generated terrain and visualizes music.
Security Analysis of Immersive Virtual Reality and Its Implications
