Teacher's Competence and its Role in the Process of Personality Socialization

The bachelor thesis deals with the key pedagogical competencies in connection with the process of socialization. The thesis explores conditions and developments of education system related to particular phases of personality development. The theoretical part of thesis explores the process of personality socialization in the education process. The practical part provides an analysis of some pedagogical documents (legislative documents, Bílá kniha, RVP, standards ISSA and RWCT) and explores the suggested definitions of pedagogical competencies. The thesis criticizes the vagueness and indefiniteness of competencies in the academic discussion of competencies, the solution of this problem may consist in standards like ISSA.
Analysis of the need for low-treshold facilities for children and youth in Prague 3.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the need for low-threshold-based social services for children and youth in the locality of Prague 3. In the theoretical part of the study there were defined basic concepts, furthermore, the processes of socialization and individuation with emphasis on the specifics of post-modern times and problems that may occur during the formation of identity were described. Further, against this background there were defined the basic stress situations and possible strategies to deal with it were outlined - generally also as in the context of low-threshold social services for children and youth. The meaning of the theoretical part was to point out the biodromal context of human development, of which the problems can not be taken out and solved separetely, but it is necessary to seek a comprehensive understanding of the situation in which the service user is located. The research includes the comparison of results of the survey in schools and low-threshold clubs, as well as the analysis of interviews with users of the low-threshold facility for children and youth and demographic aspects of the locality of Prague 3. Value of education from the perspective of pupils of different types of school

Values, especially the value of education, can be called a timeless theme. Changing historical periods brought about changes in the concept of educational value. Originating in Ancient Greece, the concept of educational value is as relevant as ever even today. This paper is devoted to this topic. In the Introduction - theoretical part - we aimed to look at the common values from the perspective of different disciplines. The following part discusses such terms as the system of values, its hierarchy and value orientation. This thesis also focuses on socialization and transmission of values, mostly in the family. This inherently includes parent-child relationships and educational styles. We did not avoid the issues of perceptions of moral standards specific to adolescents, their choice of vocational preparation etc. Also mentioned are the concepts related to education and educating. In the practical part, we discuss research methodology, conducting the interviews and their coding according to predetermined criteria. After this analysis, the thesis deals with the comparison of personal students' testimonies across individual classes as well as entire schools. Gender sensitive parenting

This thesis follows an issue of gender sensitive parentage. In particular to parents who decided to educate their kids gender sensitively. In the first part it introduces theories of gender socialization and acquiring of gender identity. Further it introduces socialization in family and, in relation it, several social factors. It tries to approach this issue through gender sensitive education. This thesis also takes a deep look to existing approaches and researches of gender sensitive education. The research part of the thesis is based on qualitative analysis of interviews with parents who are trying to educate gender sensitively. This analysis detects how these parents comprehend gender sensitive education, how they make it work, what strategies they bring up, to what situations they get while following this education program and what obstacles they face up. The goal of this dissertation is to transmit the living experience of people who try to educate their children gender sensitively and contribute the development of possibilities allowing free progression to their kids.
Measurement of using alcohol among adolescents and its causes

Bachelor thesis "Measuring alcohol consumption among adolescents and its causes" deals with creation of a methodological tool that will reliably and efficiently measure the risk and harmful behavior of young people committed during consumption of alcoholic beverages - and therewithal pointing out the causes of this behavior. This is achieved by a synthesis of theoretical sources, dealing with alcohol abuse in adolescents and the factors that influence such behavior, preceded it or stimulate it. There is also used some foreign studies which were conducted on similar topics and the results are incorporated into this work and builds on them in sub-sections or socialization dimensions. Finally, this work is also inspired by some of international methodological tools created specifically to measure the behavior associated with the alcohol and allow a respondent self-reflection. Completed methodological tool is tested first at piloting and pilot interviews with respondents, followed by pilot probe conducted on a larger sample of the target population, and according to them is further adjusted in terms of reliability and validity to the final form, which should already be fully usable in a practical research and investigation testify about the specific causes of socialization that influence or give rise...
