Quality evaluation of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables
Chabiniok, Pavel ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with evaluation of quality of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables, with the emphasis on quality assurance of crimps. An analysis of possible quality control methods, including a map of the crimping process, was created. Further, the thesis includes proposals for improvement of the original system. Furthermore, a proposal of non-destructive inspection system was produced. The conclusion summarizes the knowledge gained in quality control of crimping, including practical recommendations.

Quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments
Macková, Ivana ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments. The thesis presents the ultrasonic technologies, the types of ultrasonic tools used nowadays and the requirements for their quality. The thesis addresses the issue of time-consuming quality control of ultrasonic instruments. The solution of the given problem consists in the use of statistical process control and application of acceptance sampling. According to the sampling plan, the acceptance number and the sample size to be checked during the output inspection is determined. By reducing the number of pieces to be inspected, time and financial savings are achieved.

Product quality assurance in series production
Beneš, Ondřej ; Potanko, Andrej (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the product quality assurance in series production. Focus of the thesis is on the process of product quality planning and approval process for a part under development. The thesis addresses the issue of initial process capability study, which is one of the production part approval process requirements. Main purpose of the thesis is a statistical analysis and subsequent evaluation of encapsulated coil production process, conducted using the DMAIC methodology. Findings of the analysis confirm significant influence of the input material on the observed parameter. Based on those findings, a change to the purchased part dimensions was proposed, with assumption of moving the process location to the centre of the specification limits and thus increasing the process capability and meeting the customer requirements to the part approval.

Statistical Analysis of Data from PDF Files
Oltmanová, Kristína ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is concerning the process of data extraction from tables from documents in PDF format and their subsequent analysis with the exploitation of statistical methods. The goal of this thesis is to demonstrate the process of obtaining, processing and analyzing data from PDF files, which, in consideration of their program processing, create a finite number of subgroups with common characteristics. Firstly, the reader will become acquainted with the fundamentals of PDF file processing and basic mathematical principles that are required in order to statistically evaluate given data. Obtained theoretical principles are then applied to practical use and programming form in the Python programming language. The resulting web application is programmed using the Flask Python library and is usable on a local server.
