Bike bridge over the Nitra river

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of variants of the construction of a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the Nitra River. Two variants were created. After the comparison, a variant of the suspended footbridge was selected, which was modeled using the Midas Civil program and then statically assessed. The footbridge consists of a monolithic deck made of prestressed concrete. The pylons are located on one side of the bank

Diploma thesis Aquapark Brno is directly connected with the previous specialist course "Sports Center Za Lužánkami Brno". This project dealt was focused on overall concept, architectural and urban study of this area with an emphasis on sports, recreation and relaxation. There was created a zone of predominantly professional sport in the southern part of this area. There were built football and ice hockey stadiums on the newly created terrace/platform. These stadiums are located approximately in the same places as their current (football) or non-existent (hockey) predecessors. The terrace/platform (parking is located under the terrace) continues, and the newly expanded Boby Hotel follows the recreational sports zone with an Aquapark and outdoor sports grounds located behind the existing Tesco shopping centre. There is formed a new park in north of the sports grounds forming a recreational-relaxation zone on the territory of Planýrka. The existing building of a 50 meter swimming pool dominates the area of Aquapark. It was built in 1979 according to the project architect Otakar Oplatek. However this object no longer meets the requirements of today's visitors or athletes. The new building which includes a twenty-five meter tall swimming pool with a background is being added to the existing building. So there is a separable swimming area created here, which can serve both - swimmers and teenagers or professional athletes. There is a good possibility of racing as well. The new building connects eastward to the building of the roofed Aquapark partially hidden beneath the terraces and resting areas. These three through-flowing but mutually separable objects together with the platform define the area of the outdoor aquapark. He is also separate off from the noisy Sportovní street, but it has a sufficient supply of sunlight. Design of the footbridge over the railway

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is a design of a new footbridge over the railway instead of an existing reinforced concrete pedestrian bridge in a compound of the cement factory in Mokrá at Brno. The footbridge is used to the transfer pedestrians over the mentioned train. The work is composed of the design of the pedestrian bridge as a continuous frame structure, including making a model of the bridge for an analysis of internal forces, design and checking the structure for the ultimate and serviceability limit state. A calculation of load effects is processed by the computer software Scia Engineer 2013. The construction stage analysis wasn´t applied in the structural calculations.
Stress ribbon bridge across the deep valley

The topic of this thesis is a design of stress ribbon bridge across the deep valley. The construction of the footbridge contains stress ribbon bridge with external cables and final prestressing tendons. The bridge deck is in a parabolic arc and the suspension cables are in two bend down parabolic arcs. The construction is reproduced for evaluation of longitudinal direction in the Ansys 14.0 programme and for transversal direction in the Scia Engineer 15.1 programme. The model was solved in several phases, nonlinerally. The pier was reproduced in the Scia Engineer 15.1 programme for local effect of action. The construction was evaluated for dynamic action. The construction is assessed according to the actual EN standards.
Pedestrian bridge across the highway D1 in Bohumín

The aim of final thesis is design and assessment of footbridge over highway D1 in Bohumín. The design is processed in two options. From these two options there is cable-stayed construction solved in greater detail. Because counstruction is in circular arch with small radius, it is necessary to contain real geometry to computational model. Model is created by beams and construction stages are included too. The construction is assessed for the ultimate and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. In the thesis is performed eigenvalue analysis and harmonic response of the construction. Detailed drawings are included too.
Pedestrian bridge formed of a stress ribbon structure

The theme of this bachelor thesis is a design of a footbridge across the river. The thesis deals mainly with static solution of footbridge formed by a concrete stress ribbon. The calculation of internal forces was done by using calculating program Scia Engineer. The other calculations for assessment and design of reinforcement were done by hand according to valid standards. The thesis disregards stages of construction and rheological effects which would affect the construction.
Kindergarten FUTURUM

The content of the bachelor’s thesis is the design of a kindergarten in Brno, in the Masaryk’s district. The plot is a part of the school complex, where the Cyril and Methodius Church Elementary School and Cyril and Methodius High School already stand. The land here is sloping to the east. The design of the building with two above-ground and one underground floor corresponds to this. It is a new building of a preschool institution with two sections with capacity of 24 children per section without its own kitchen (food will be prepared in the kitchen for elementary school and high school and then transported to designed kindergarten). The building is situated in the eastern part of the plot and the western part is used as a garden for children. Barrier-free entrance to the building from Havlíčkova street is provided by a footbridge connected to the roof terrace at the level of the second floor. The building is bricked with Porotherm blocks. The construction of the ceilings is made of prestressed Spiroll hollow core slab. The roofs of the building are flat and partly walkable. Non-walkable parts of roofs are designed as green roofs. The facade of the building is horizontally divided into two parts. The lower part is lined with artificial stone and the upper part of the facade is made of white plaster. The windows in the children’s classrooms are round and different sizes. This element reflects children’s playfulness.
Analysis of the steel structure of the bridge by FEM to the action of static load

The structures of bridges are one of the most demanding engineering structures. They fulfill an important social and economic role in the development of the given territory. From this perspective, it is necessary to pay close attention to the process of design, analysis, realization and service. This thesis deals with the static analysis of spatially curved and asymmetrical suspended foot bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The first part is devoted to the analysis of structural deformation, while the second part is focused on the analysis of selected parts of the structure in terms of its stress.
The footbridge across the track

This thesis describes the design of steel structures footbridge over the track in Havířov. The total length of the bridge is 101.6 m footbridge consists of four parts. The basic structural system of the first part of the beam is solidified arc. Other parts are made girders. Free bridge width is 3.2 m Footbridge will be used to connect local area Havířov - Šumbark to the train station.
Steel Footbridge

The diploma thesis is focused on a design and appraisal of a steel load bearing construction of footbridge. The footbridge builds a new bridge across the river Ostravice in Sviadnov at Frýdek-Místek. The main subject of the diploma thesis was preparation of three variants for the footbridge. All variants were evaluated and the best one was elaborated in depth. It is a footbridge with a total span of 57 metres with a load bearing construction created two arches bent down to each orther. There is an orthotropic bridge deck with main outer lenghthways girders on the arches.
