Obsahem bakalářské práce je návrh mateřské školy v Brně, Masarykově čtvrti. Řešený pozemek je součástí školního areálu, kde již stojí Cyrilometodějská církevní základní škola a Cyrilometodějské gymnázium. Pozemek je svažitý východním směrem. Tomu odpovídá návrh budovy se dvěma nadzemními a jedním podzemním podlažím. Jedná se o novostavbu předškolního zařízení o dvou odděleních, s kapacitou 24 dětí na jedno oddělení, bez vlastní kuchyně (jídlo bude připravováno v kuchyni pro základní školu a gymnázium a poté dopraveno do navrhovaného objektu mateřské školy). Objekt je situován do východní části pozemku a západní část slouží jako zahrada pro děti. Bezbariérový vstup do objektu z ulice Havlíčkovy umožňuje lávka navazující na střešní terasu v úrovni druhého nadzemního podlaží. Objekt je vyzděný z cihelných bloků Porotherm. Konstrukce stropů je z předpjatých dutinových panelů Spiroll. Střechy objektu jsou ploché a částečně pochozí. Nepochozí části střech jsou řešené jako zelené střechy. Fasáda objektu je horizontálně rozdělena na dvě části. Spodní část je obložena umělým kamenem a horní část fasády je tvořena omítkou bílé barvy. Okna ve třídách pro děti mají tvaru kruhu a různé velikosti. Tento prvek je odrazem dětské hravosti. The content of the bachelor’s thesis is the design of a kindergarten in Brno, in the Masaryk’s district. The plot is a part of the school complex, where the Cyril and Methodius Church Elementary School and Cyril and Methodius High School already stand. The land here is sloping to the east. The design of the building with two above-ground and one underground floor corresponds to this. It is a new building of a preschool institution with two sections with capacity of 24 children per section without its own kitchen (food will be prepared in the kitchen for elementary school and high school and then transported to designed kindergarten). The building is situated in the eastern part of the plot and the western part is used as a garden for children. Barrier-free entrance to the building from Havlíčkova street is provided by a footbridge connected to the roof terrace at the level of the second floor. The building is bricked with Porotherm blocks. The construction of the ceilings is made of prestressed Spiroll hollow core slab. The roofs of the building are flat and partly walkable. Non-walkable parts of roofs are designed as green roofs. The facade of the building is horizontally divided into two parts. The lower part is lined with artificial stone and the upper part of the facade is made of white plaster. The windows in the children’s classrooms are round and different sizes. This element reflects children’s playfulness.
