In the master's thesis there is described financial assurance of public investment project. The teoretical part part focuses on clarifying the basic concepts of public project . There are described ways in which it is possible to finance public projects. The practical part deals with finding appropriate ways of project financing of road reconstruction II/422 delay the village Svatobořice – Mistřín and their comparison.

Economic Risks of Public Investment Projects

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the economic and financial evaluation of a public investment project with subsequent risk analysis. The thesis deals with a public investment project of a residential building, specifically its economic evaluation and possible financing. Subsequently, the risks associated with the project will be analysed and assessed. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the public investment project, the description of the different phases of the project life cycle, the sources of financing are listed and the economic evaluation of the project is characterized. Subsequently, risks, their classification, identification, measurement, management and risk analysis are described. The practical part deals with the economic and financial evaluation of the future investment project in the form of the construction of a residential building in the municipality of Skuteč and the examination of various risks in different variants of the public project.

Business Plan

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a business plan for the establishment and operation of a guesthouse in South Moravia, more precisely in the wine village of Mikulčice near the Slovak border. Part of the work is to perform analyses of external and internal influences affecting the business using selected analyses that are described in the first part of the work. The results of these analyses are elaborated in the second part of this work, which also includes primary research of demand by means of a questionnaire survey of potential guests. In the last part of the work, a separate business plan is then processed according to the template described in the first part of the work. The business plan is based on the analyses that have been carried out and it includes a realistic proposal for the construction and launch of the guesthouse together with its marketing and financial strategy.

Analysis of Financing Social Services Provided Free of Charge by Non-Governmental Organization in the South Bohemian Region

Not only the state plays a part in the social field through its institutions or established organizations, but also non-governmental organizations, which are significant actors in the field of social services. The main mission of non-governmental organizations in the social field is to provide services in the context of Act No. 108/2006 Coll. on Social Services. Provided social services are divided into social consultancy, social care services, and social prevention services. The kinds of services provided free of charge which can be found in the law are, for example, social consultancy, early intervention, emergency assistance, follow-up care, social activation services for families with children, seniors, people with disabilities and outreach programmes. Most non-governmental organizations in the Czech Republic providing social services finance their operations from multiple sources, such as grant procedures of ministries, regions, municipalities, the EU, endowment entities and also from incomes from their own activities. This diploma thesis aimed to ascertain in what ways and from what sources non-governmental organizations in the South Bohemian Region fund social services which are provided to clients free of charge by law. At the same time, it was also important to identify the possibilities of financing social services provided free of charge by the South Bohemian Region. A qualitative research strategy was used for the research, along with the method of questioning and furthermore, the analysis of relevant documents was carried out. The research part provides a detailed view of social services and their significance within the South Bohemian Region and gives an insight into the matters of financing non-governmental organizations providing social services free of charge in the territory of the South Bohemian Region.

Funding of a Non-profit Organization in the Cultural Area

The theoretical part of this thesis describes non-profit sector, non-profit organization as well as the types of non-profit organizations. The thesis places strong emphasis on the description of specific methods of funding non-profit organizations, particularly in the cultural area. The practical part characterizes the selected non-profit organization and performs a financial analysis in this organization. It describes the financial resources of the organization and compares them over time. On the bases of the obtained results, the effectiveness of the use of financial resources is examined, the dominant resource is found and also overall financial management is assessed. Finally, some suggestions for obtaining others financial resources are recommended.

Financing of the direct costs of school meals in each region and its impact on quality of service

Author: Jana Zapletalová Department: School Management Centre Supervisor: RNDr. Jana Marková Abstract: Submitted thesis acquaints the reader with the potential sources of financing for device of school meals, focuses in particular on the clarification of the nature of the financicng of direct costs in relation to the quality of the services provided. Part of work is an explanation of the principles of financing of the direct costs at the level of the Ministry of education and regions in 2012. Research of the work compares the amount of funds spent for the financing of direct costs for device of school meals in each of the regions in 2010 and in 2011, on whitch substantial changes- distribution of wage funds on pedagogical and other proffesionals in education and reducing the volume of financial recources of the other financial base of the expenditure. Findings will provide a comprehensive overview and improve the orientation of managers in device of school meals in this matter, in the legislation of education, procedures and budgetary rules. Ecological influences during the construction of a family house

The diploma thesis focuses on the ecological influences in the construction of a family house. The subject is to compare the properties of alternative building materials, determine the cost of building a house and design the optimal way of financing housing for a fictional married couple. Explains basic concepts, namely ecological aspects in construction, project management of buildings, pricing in construction, housing finance. The following practical part compares building materials in terms of their properties and environmental impacts during production, determines the costs of acquisition and operation of a family house and then finds out whether it is possible to finance the construction of the house through a mortgage loan. At the end of the work evaluates what percentage will increase the cost of building a house in the case of the use of materials, the production of which produces less negative emissions. Finally, the optimal variant of housing financing is recommended.
