Unified verification environment for digital part of automotive mixed-signal integrated circuits
Petráš, Samuel ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with unified verification environment for the verification of small designs of the digital part of integrated circuits with mixed signals. By unified verification environment is meant an environment suitable for both simulation and emulation. The first chapter describes the current verification methods of such designs. The second chapter presents the requirements that emulation places on the verification environment implemented according to the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and the attached implementation of proposed environment. The third chapter contains practical knowledge gained during the implementation of the unified verification environment, problems and their solutions, as well as several comparisons between simulation and emulation.
IED Simulator with a Support of Industrial Communication GOOSE
Ládr, Tomáš ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this bachelors thesis is to create simulator of IED working as publisher of the protocol IEC 61850-GOOSE. For achieving of this goal the library libIEC61850 has been used. During the work on this project an emulator of GOOSE publisher was implemented. There are experiments validating the emulated communication in the report. The merit of this thesis is creation of an open-source emulator for operating system Linux, because other existing solutions are commercial.
Simulation of an ARM Processor for the Education of Programming in Assembler
Ondryáš, Ondřej ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis aims to implement a didactic tool for simulation of an Arm-based processor integrated into the Visual Studio Code editor. The tool facilitates learning about the machine-level programming of these processors. It implements a service that provides an assembler and a simulator for the A32 instruction set. The service is built using the Unicorn emulation framework and other open-source tools. The editor extension uses the service to add support for the development and debugging of programs written in the assembly language. It shows descriptions of used instructions and helps the programmer understand their function. When debugging, it enables stepping through the code and provides various views of the state of the simulated processor, its registers and memory. The solution can be used in the Advanced Assembly Languages course at FIT BUT. It could be further improved in the future to support other architectures and provide an easy learning environment in other courses related to machine-level programming.
Desing and implementation of the LCC converter application for emulation validating of the integrated LLC converters
Pokorný, Ondřej ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of an LLC converter, which will be used for the verification of prototypes of integrated circuit designs, as well as its applications. First, we address why we chose the LLC converter specifically for this application. We continue by analysing the specific type of converter and describe its function. The main point of this thesis is the numerical design with input parameters, which concludes with a simulation which verifies the calculated values. The product of the thesis is the design of the final wiring diagram of the LLC converter and the test board (module) and their realisation on PCB. The thesis concludes with a verification of the whole construction using a test board in a practical measurement. The work includes the author’s own design of a transformer, as well as a discussion on the problematics of the usage of magnetic circuits for LLC converters.
Design of a wireless communication interface with a PC for an emulation platform for modeling integrated circuits
Benc, Marek ; Janůš, Tomáš (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
In the design center of Onsemi in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, they use an emulation platform based around an FPGA for verification and debugging tasks for certain integrated circuits, and it's equipped with an interface that models an IC's configuration fuses with physical switches. For ICs with large fuse counts, working with this interface is tedious and error-prone, which has lead to this thesis investigating the possibilities for creating a wireless configuration interface that would be controlled by a PC.

Long-term Preservation of Web Content
Kvasnica, Jaroslav ; Pokorný, Jan (advisor) ; Souček, Martin (referee)
This work describes the long term preservation of digital documents, particularly websites. The aim of this work is to give an explanation of the long term preservation, to define the differences between various approaches and to describe long term preservation of web content possibilities such as migration or emulation. It also explains risks and challenges of these strategies. It discusses new problems which the long term preservation aim leads to. It also describes possible solutions as well as it describes the situation in selected significant foreign institutions. The main aim of this work is detailed analysis of long term preservation strategy in theNational Library of the Czech Republic, which is the only institution engaged in the preservation of Czech web. The process of data preparation, metadata creation and data storing in the long term repository of the Czech National Library is thoroughly described, including examples and their explanation. Future actions of long term preservation in the Czech Web Archive are articulated in the conclusion. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Virtualization of laboratory tasks for the CISCO course
Management of the energy transmission system polygon
Bohačík, Antonín ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the creation of a control interface for a polygon simulating the electrical distribution network of the Czech Republic, where communication between substations is realized by IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic principles, properties and possibilities of communication standards IEC 60870 and IEC 61850. The next part is focused on the actual implementation and subsequent implementation of the control interface, including the implementation of the IEC 61850-80-1 module for data transfer between the mentioned standards. The last part describes the created behavior scenarios or the analysis of communication itself.
