Diploma thesis deals with children as a specific target group influencing adults decisions. The theoretical part defines terms related to children as consumers and commercialization of their childhood, advertisment and the typical media, which have a negative impact on children. The penultimate charter is devoted to the situation in the United States of America, where children are considered to be the biggest consumers. The practical part will be realized by own research among children and parents in order to determine an approximate situation in the Czech Republic. A part of empirical part will also be a comparison of Czech and American results.
Key aspects of web applications according to their business focus

The main focus of this diploma thesis is the characteristics of key aspects, which are important when designing, implementing and maintaining web application, whereas these aspects differ according to business model of the web application. The thesis reflects modern trends in the areas of web project management, UX, web design, E-Commerce process management etc. The thesis consists of the introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. In the introduction I present the reason for picking this topic, the more in-depth targets of the thesis, preconditions, restrictions, in-depth structure, sum-up the expected contribution and present research of the field. The theoretical part consists of the information about online business and introduction of the web applications. Furthermore, the key domains are presented with the new trends in different areas of web applications. In the practical part, at the beginning, there are categories of web applications defined, which are based on different business models introduced earlier. This part is followed by the comprehensive analysis in the field of web E-Commerce applications for each category of the web application, with the output of trends and best practices in the field according to each domain of the web application. It is then followed by the analysis of situation around web applications in general, because here were also some trends and best practice noticed. In conclusion I sum up the acquired results, introduce the contribution of the thesis and think about the situation around the web applications.

The field of financial consulting is becoming more and more demanded and attractive. It is a part of the financial sector that has not a long tradition in Slovakia and this is reflecting the unconsciousness of people to use the services in the financial consulting. The structure of the bachelor thesis is laid out in a sense to clarify and specify the marketing strategy of the selected company, PARTNERS GROUP SK by using knowledge from scientific literature and internal information from the selected company. Bachelor thesis looks closely the services in the financial sector which are offered by the company PARTNERS GROUP SK through its marketing activity, access and final added value for the client.
Advertisement aimed at children and its ethic framework

The thesis debates the issue of mass communication and one of its important parts - advertisment. It is focusing on advertisment aimed at children, describes the means and sources of its regulation - be it legal or self-regulation. It explains the workings of the Committee for advertisment and compares the legal regulation and self-regulation in Slovakia and Germany. The thesis is pointing at the need of regulation of unethical advertisments which is abusing its influence on the child consumers. It is also stressing the need of teaching children media literacy which should be the children's first line of defence against the influence of advertisment.
Interne t- its opportunities and its risks for end-user in the Slovak Republic

This bachelor thesis provides an overview of possibilities, potential risks and threats on the Internet to citizens as its users, in scope of valid Slovak legislative. The Internet as such presents a specific source of information. It is so specific that in order to get any information about a particular thing one does not need to spend hours of his/her free time, but just to log onto the network and find the information in a much shorter time. The laws and regulations for using the Internet are the same as for other information sources. For example, advertising of tobacco products or weapons is prohibited. Hence it is impossible to carry out any illegal activity. The Internet is supervised by the Ministry of Information Posts and Telecommunications of Slovakian republic as well as other various interest groups like the "People Against Racism", dealing with the breach of laws or seeking to help victims in a way of consultancies. In my bachelor thesis I have provided a list of laws and actions that may not to be carried out on the Internet within legal systems of some countries, particularly within that of the Slovak Republic. In the thesis there are also present various statistics on number of Internet users in Slovakia and from its development several years ago as well as technologies which were used in the past in comparison to what today is used for connecting to the Internet. The second chapter is dedicated to the history of the Internet, how it has evolved, for what purpose etc. In addition differences in prices of Internet providers in Slovakia compared to previous years are released too. In the end of this work a list of potential threats to the internet environment is mentioned -from impending threats by psychologically disturbed individuals or hackers to the every day threats casual users are exposed to.
Using facebook to promote brands

This bachelor thesis aims to offer comprehensible guide how to create proper and effective presentation of product, brand or business using social network Facebook and utilise all instruments it offers. In the first part I will describe the instruments Facebook offers, in the second part will be dedicated to utilising these instruments to create an appropriate presence and propagation on Facebook. In the third part I will describe some existing presentations of businesses and brands and will offer my view on them. Last part will be dedicated to nefarious practices and spamming methods that appear on Facebook, describing them and offering examples. When writing this thesis I used information available on Facebook and its Help Center and Developer pages.
The analysis of advertising agencies market in the region of České Budějovice

This work is dealing with the market of advertising agencies, advertising and promotion industry. The main goal of my work is to analyze supplies of advertising agencies and to go over customer´s perception of advertising agencies offer. This work is divided into two parts. The first one is theoretical, which forms the base for researched topic. Then there is solved the definition of researched area and the number of advertising agencies in this region. Afterwards there is an assesement of services which provide advertising agencies. The second part of my work, the analytic part, contains an external enviroment and a market enviroment through the STEP analysis. There is also used the Porter's five forces model, which monitors long-term attractiveness of the market segment, and then another OT analysis which identifies potential opportunities and risks in the sector. The analysis how customers perceive the offer of advertising agencies is done through the questionnaire.
The Compound Words in ad Text of the Magazine (in the age of 70 years and after 2000)

This master´s dissertation deals with the French compound words in ad text in the age of 70 years and after 2000. Dissertation is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the function of language in advertising, the levels of language, theories of advertising communication. Then, we defined the main elements of the magazine and compound words.In the second part, we continue with the analysis of lexemes stripped of Elle magazine, designed for both the period and taking into account promotional incentives for different types of compounds.
