Genius loci and the new urban structure

The topic of the thesis is a design of a new urban structure fitting to its context. The area is located in historical centre of city Trebic in district Starecka. It is defined by borders of streets Sucheniova, Hasskova and Viteslava Nezvala. Most of the historical structure were demolished during the sanitation in 80‘. Now the area is very open. That is unusual for historical centre. It has good development potential to build a new location with elements of modern life. Most of the area is taken by a bus station, parking and busy street. In my design I tried to return this area to pedestrians and adapt the public space to it. Karl square and surroundings has good civic amenities. It was important to not compete with functional layout and complete it to one unit. Design of the urban structure and public space is based on location of historical development. A part of the thesis is area Polanka which has similar features as part Starecka. This part is designed only as a vision.

The assignment of the diploma thesis is the design of a new city structure and the strengthening of the genius loci in the city of Třebíč. In the 1980s there was a construction of large-capacity bus station together with main road which has led to demoition of multiple original historic building and changing the character of the area. The main idea of the proposal is respecting of the existing structure and especially finding the values and genius loci. The proposal is to gently complete the structure with adding stories and creating new block structure which clearly defines public and private space. The proposal envisages the construction of a southern bypass, which allows the modification of the main roads in the center. Other elements of the design are the discovery, modification of the line and access to the Stařečka stream, reconstruction of the bus station and improvement of pedestrian permeability through the area. The newly designed development is mostly residential in order to increase the density of inhabitants living in the city center and at the same time to limit the expansion of the built-up area by residential development into the landscape.

The thesis "Analysis of used Natural history and Biology textbooks in terms of anthropology, the morphology and anatomy of human" is largely empirical work. The aim was to determine the didactis and the difficulty of textbooks which are available in the Czech Republic for the 8th grade of elementary school. The work is complemented with research of using the textbooks in primary schools and lower grammar school in Trebic. The used methods were 2 analysis, according to the specific criteria and own questionnaire for teachers of the subject. Analysis of textbooks is based on the methodology of Prof. Průcha a Doc. Hrabí. North portal of the church of St. Procope in Třebíč in the Central European context, with particular reference to the churches of Benedictine monasteries in Hungary

Kornélia Kolářová Takácsová: The North Portal of the Church of St. Procopius in Třebíč in a Central European Context with Special Reference to Churches in Hungary Abstract The present dissertation places the northern portal of the Basilica of St. Procopius in Třebíč in a broader Central European context with a special focus on Hungarian buildings. After an introduction to the history of the Trebic abbey and church, a description of the portal and its iconographic analysis is followed by an analysis of important portals from Germany, Austria and Hungary that are mentioned in relation to the Třebíč portal and are associated with Norman ornament, including an attempt to classify them chronologically. The thesis includes a critical discussion of various theories of Norman decoration wandering in Central Europe. Special attention is paid to the question of the fundator of the Třebíč basilica, which refers both to the ruling Přemyslid family and to the remarkable figure of the bishop of Olomouc, Robert. In all the countries of Central Eastern Europe, in addition to the foreign builders who separated in groups from the large Western smelters, local stonemasons were involved and contributed their work to the final forms of specific buildings. Hodnocení fytotoxicity kalů z vybraných čistíren odpadních vod

The diploma thesis “The assessment of the phytotoxicity of sludge from selected sewage treatment plants“ deals with the current situation of the sludge treatment and disposal and the assessment of phytotoxicity of sewage treatment sludge. The sewage treatment sludge comes into existence during the process of sewage treatment. Nowadays is sludge landfilling from the point of view of nature protection and according to the legislation on the last place in a way of handling. Additionally, the thesis pays attention to the legislation related to the sewage treatment sludge and also statistical data concerning the production and the way of handling of the sewage treatment sludge. The practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the description of two sewage treatment plants, namely Třebíč and Náměšť nad Oslavou. Subsequently were made several laboratory experiments with the sewage treatment sludge samples from the mentioned sewage treatment plants. At the sewage treatment sludge samples were assessed the phytotoxicity level by the testing set Phytotoxkit. Specifically was determined an inhibitive/stimulative effect on the growth of the root. The testing plant was a white mustard (Sinapis alba L.).

Apartment Building, Trebic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new-built apartment building in Trebic, located in the Vysocina region. The apartment house is without cellar with three above-ground floors and one main entrance to the building. A total of six residentail units and common areas for the residents of the house. The vertical loadbearing structures are made of heat-insulating blocks. The horizontal loadbearing structures and staircase are made of reinforced monolithic concrete slab. The roof consists of a flat roof with extensive green and a single-layer flat roof. Windows and doors are plastic. The bulit will beg as heating. There are twelve parking spaces on the ground.

Multifunctional house

The aim of my diploma thesis is a plan of a multifunctional house. The proposed building is designed in low-energy norm. The shape arrangement is an irregular rectangle, covered by two flat roofs. One of the roofs serves as a terrace. It is a five-storey building. Half of the ground floor serves as offices and the other half as an utility space for the flats above. The other four floors are for housing. Aforementioned building is located in Třebíč, in the area Na kopcích, on Modřínová street, plot No.1039/7. Vertical and horizontal construction are designed from POROTHERM building system. The building is based on a concrete foundation slab.

Intersection Hrotovická st. x Kosmákova st. in Třebíč

Subject of the thesis is project documentation of reconstruction of two very near intersections on road II/351 in Třebíč. Directional traffic research was done in order to compare suggested variants, (spiral) turbo roundabout was selected for further working-out of the project. Project solves road traffic including public bus transport, sidewalks and rehabilitation of joining streets.

Ex-post evaluace projektu Přestupní terminál Třebíč

This Bachelor's Thesis is engaged in an ex-post evaluation of the public investment project Transfer Terminal Třebíč which took place between 2010-2015 by virtue of financial means provided from the Regional Operational Programme NUTS II Southeast. The work is divided into two parts - a literature search and an application part, both supplemented with work methodology. Within the literature search, the author first describes the principals of regional and structural politics between 2007-2013, with a focus on the Regional Operational Programme NUTS II Southeast. The next chapter deals with the area of public projects and their project cycles. In the conclusion of this part, the author focuses on problems of evaluation in the public sector. The application part deals with the project characteristics and its evaluation using the CUA method together with questionnaire surveys supplemented with information obtained from dialogues with the participating parties. The conclusion of this Bachelor's Thesis makes recommendations addressed to the stem project team, which might be useful during realizations of similar projects in the future.

Analysis of opinions of visitors Třebíč region

Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the visitor's opinion of the region of Třebíč. The aim of this thesis is to find out opinions, of the chosen sample of the respondents, on exploitation of the attractiveness and tourism services in this region. Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of tourism and the concept of visitor, with research methods of opinion and satisfaction of the visitors, but also with the attractiveness and services of the region of Třebíč. The second part focuses on the practical application of the issue through a questionnaire. The basic methodology is the personal interview with the respondent. On the basis of realized analysis will be formulated recommendations for local organisations or other subjects dealing with tourism, tourism services and its administration.
