Ústava francouzské Páté republiky byla přijata 4.října 1958 a od data svého přijetí byla osmnáctkrát novelizována. Poslední zásadní novelu se podařilo přijmout na Kongresu obou komor francouzského parlamentu dne 21.července 2008. Práce popisuje nejzásadnější ústavní změny ke kterým došlo po 21. červenci 2008: jde o novelu, která byla silně prosazována novým francouzským prezidentem Nicolasem Sarkozym s tím, že hlavním cílem návrhů jeho administrativy byla institucionálni modernizace Páté republiky. Prezident Sarkozy za tímto účelem zřídil komisi již v červenci 2007, tedy krátce poté co se ujal svého úřadu. Komise pro ústavní změny byla řízena Edouardem Balladurem, bývalým předsedou vlády, komise sestávala především z ústavních právníků a politiků. Výsledkem práce bylo popsaní nejdůležitějších posunů v pravomocích a změnách vztahů mezi prezidentem, parlamentem a vládou v paragrafovém znění spolu se stručným přehledem k samotnému projednávání a posléze přijetí ústavních změn. Dále pak práce hovoří o změnách v postavení opozice v parlamentu a změnách týkajících se legislativního procesu spolu s vlastním projednáváním zákonů.

THE CONCEPT OF JUSTICE IN PLATO´S REPUBLICA

This essay primary goal is to present Plato?s theory of justice constituted in his the most famous work Politeia. The first chapter deals with a historical background for questions of justice. It works as an introduction to the topic and shows some influental ideas for Plato?s thinking. The second part focuses on Plato?s conception of justice itself by following his gradual definition in the text. The final chapter concerns with some problematic parts of Plato?s theory and draws a comparison between Plato?s and Aristotle?s definition of justice.
Diversity management

The thesis is focused on diversity management in the Czech Republic. The author deals with diversity of economically active population in the Czech Republic and also, based on the screening of websites of selected companies, analyses the extent to which companies in the Czech Republic deal with diversity management in the context of personal marketing. Emphasis is placed on how the studied companies present their approaches to diversity and whether it is also used in individual job offers. The aim is to prove that in the Czech Republic, the implementation of diversity management is relevant and also to map the approaches of selected companies to use of diversity management in their personal marketing. In conclusion the author summarizes the results of the conducted screening and creates suggestions for companies which have decided to deal with diversity management.
Conflict of Interest - International Recommendations and Czech Approach

The aim of this work is to describe the area of the conflict of interest in the public sector in general and then in the Czech Republic. Firstly, it works with international overview on this problem. It defines the purpose of the conflict of interest and the public officials. It also presents recommendations refer to this policy, mainly accepted in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Next, it is presented, how the conflict of interest is managed in the Czech Republic. The work also analyzes Czech conflict of interest act and the activities, which carries out the global civic society organisation Transparency International. Finally, it is evaluated the efficiency of the measures which were accepted in the Czech Republic.
Electricity Smart Metering in the Czech Republic: Status and Future Challenges

This work deals with technology and innovation management issues on the particular case of electricity smart metering in the Czech Republic. The popular literature on this topic is not reflecting on industries with high level of regulation in demand determination, which is the precise case of this industry. Positions of distribution network operators, technology suppliers, end-consumers and the regulatory players are analyzed. Comparison with other European countries is shown with market development predictions also taking part of the analysis. The outcome of this work reflects on the 2012 decision of the regulatory authority in the Czech Republic, which is to decide on a mandatory roll-out of this technology. This work presents the path towards this decision and discusses the potential outcomes.
The arrangament of whistleblowing in the Czech republic and in Slovakia

The bachelor thesis is deal with arrangement of whistleblowing in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The thesis is divided into three chapters. Due to ignorance of this problem in both countries the first chapter follows the whistleblowing theoretically and explains this concept including the concept of whistleblower. The second and the third chapters specifically analyze the situation of whistleblowing in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The goal of the bachelor thesis is find out whether whistleblowing is regulated by comprehensive law in these countries, how will look with it in the future and what the public's sight of it is.

Determinants of the size of the bed fund in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals on bed medical facility in the Czech Republic. The main goal is to identify the determinants that impact most on its size. Great attention is paid to the structure of hospital care and analysis of trends in this area in the Czech Republic and in selected OECD countries. According to research carried out can be said that the bed fund is evenly distributed in the Republic and its size is largely influenced by demographic structure of the population in each region. Despite this major determinant, determining the extent of absolute bed funds are centrally carried out by administrative decision.
The collective buying phenomenon in the Czech Republic

Collective buying has become a widespread trend on the Czech Internet during the last year. This thesis deals with the phenomenon of collective sales and its aim is to find out how the system works and why different parties join it. The first chapter presents the development of collective buying in the world and what it means in the Czech Republic nowadays. The second chapter specifies several reasons which motivate customers and entrepreneurs to join the system and it mentions a number of marketing activities of the intermediaries influencing the customers' decision. The whole process of the discount activities is described in the third chapter and the fourth one analyses the opinions of Czech customers and entrepreneurs on sales campaigns.
