Práce má za cíl rozkrýt problematiku konfliktu zájmů a analyzovat způsob spravování této problematiky v České republice. V prvé řadě se zabývá samotným definováním konfliktních situací a osobou veřejného funkcionáře. Dále představuje mezinárodní doporučení k této problematice, zejména pak doporučení Organizace pro ekonomickou spolupráci a rozvoj (OECD). V další části práce popisuje jakým způsobem je problematika konfliktu zájmů řešena v České republice. K tomu využívá především zákon o střetu zájmů z roku 2006 a činnosti nevládní organizace Transparency International. Nakonec práce hodnotí, nakolik jsou opatření spravující konflikt zájmů v České republice v souladu s představenými doporučeními a nakolik jsou tato opatření efektivní. The aim of this work is to describe the area of the conflict of interest in the public sector in general and then in the Czech Republic. Firstly, it works with international overview on this problem. It defines the purpose of the conflict of interest and the public officials. It also presents recommendations refer to this policy, mainly accepted in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Next, it is presented, how the conflict of interest is managed in the Czech Republic. The work also analyzes Czech conflict of interest act and the activities, which carries out the global civic society organisation Transparency International. Finally, it is evaluated the efficiency of the measures which were accepted in the Czech Republic.
